guys, maybe we should stop looking at the menu details and actualy concentrate on what the program is going to be about - Guru jee and his devotee!!!!! this program is primarily aimed at youth who i'm sure will appreciate that the sevadaars have gone to the trouble of preparing 'english food' langar. but for those of you who like ur roti, there is usually parshaadaa langar as well as chips and Guru ka langar is GURU KA langar after all. Its Guru Maharaj that blesses it, not anyone else, so i'm sure maharaj doesn't mind being offered chips from time to time if made with shardaa!!! anyways, now that i've also gone off topic, let me just say again, let's concentrate on what the program is going to be about, the story of our wonderful Guru jee, Guru Nanak Dev jee and his devotee Bhai Lehna jee.

bibi jee did NOT call sant jarnail singh ji a coward. If u were to visit her now in Amritsar and you asked her exactly what her&bhai fauja singhs relationship was sant jarnail singh ji you would see that she would say that they had the utmost respect for each other. after bhai fauja singh ji gave his shaheedi to the khalsa panth, sant ji met with bibi jee and told her that if she was in need of anything that she could always ask him as sant jarnail singh ji had so much respect for the wife of a shaheed singh. in a recent video interview, bibi jee has explained that a lot of lies were spread at the time to create splits even further with the different jathe... as the panth was going through a vulnerable time, the masands looked at it as the perfect opportunity to start the break up of the panth.

vaheguru jee ka khalsa vaheguru jee kee fateh if guru ship was bestowed on aad guru granth sahib jee, then reading of dasam bani is invalid. as guru amar das jee maharaj has told us in anand sahib satguru bina hor kachee hai bani bani tha kachee satguru baajhau hor kachee banee kehadhae kachae sundhae kachae kachee aakh vakhaanee if reciting anything else than guru bani, which you are saying is only aad guru granth sahib jee ONLY then reciting any dasam bani, or any bani not found within aad guru granth sahib jee is false. Papi bhai sahib/bibi jee, bhai gurdas jees vaaran are also considered as bani as well as dasam bani. as we both know, it is sachee bani that guru amar das jee explains, the true bani, so therefore that bani must also be our Guru. forgive me for my many mistakes vaheguru jee ka khalsa vaheguru jee kee fateh

vaheguru jee ka khalsa vaheguru jee kee fateh sabh sikhan ko hukam hai guru maneyo GRANTH. guru granth sahib jee maharaj is aad guru granth sahib, dasam guru granth sahib and sarbloh guru granth sahib. if our only real guru is aad guru granth sahib jee, then wats the point in recitin jaap sahib or swaiye or chaupai sahib in our nitnem? a Guru is a teacher...as our guru is our teacher, can we only learn from aad guru granth sahib jee and not learn anything from the dasam bania?? forgive me for any mistakes vaheguru jee ka khalsa vaheguru jee kee fateh

dream keertanis - anyone who sings Guru's Gunn with pure love from the heart!!!!! sometimes people get mistaken for only enjoying the 'music' involved in doing keertan... best way to overcome that is to pour your heart out to your Guru. if the sangat can feel the love, it can only mean more rass for them!

Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! has anyone ever thought that perhaps its the Singhs that post TOO much?? and then Singhnia are told THEY talk too much :wub: lol just kidding! great posts mdkaur. i would definitely like to see more active Singhnia on the forum. if there are girls reading this forum but not posting for reasons such as fear or being embarassed - dont be! its good to hear everyones opinion, and there are sometimes issues in which a Singhni's opinion is much appreciated.
