i agree with baba on this one, if you not gonna wear suit/bana at gurudwara then where else I have no bana, and I dont have many trackies, I only have jeans! :wub: more the reason to buy one :wub: as long as one dresses modestly, after all we are going to be sitting in hajoori of guru sahib and guru sangat :D all i'm saying is that we should TRY to wear bana/suit/kurta pajama to gurudara atleast. Exactly! All you need to remember is that you will be sitting in the presence of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Maharaj Ji. You should be in Gurujee's roop.

You can buy kachera from DTF too. They are abit expensive but are made from nice material.

Yeh that sounds about right! 2 sets of comfy english clothes is all you'll need for activities and maybe the beach. And 5 suits should cover the whole week. :-) Oh and i recommend you take a warm shawl or jumper as it can be cold during Amrit vela.

Gurfateh! I have listened to all these lectures by Bhai Parminder Singh --> http://www.gurmatstudies.com/kathah.htm and have to say they are so amazing and so incredibly heartwarming and touching! I don't know who this person is but he does have a strong american accent. Was just looking online now to find some more stuff by him and kept getting results for the Parminder Singh that left for sachkhand on May 8th in a accident with Bibi Rena Kaur and Bhai Charnjit Singh. All the articles mention that this Parminder Singh Ji was very knowledgeable and did alot of Katha. Sorry but is this is the same Parminder Singh I am talking about??

Well on Sunday which is the day of registration it starts at 2pm...then after that every day it starts from 8am to about 7pm.... Also Keertan Darbar on last day of camp - Thursday 2nd August from 7pm! :wub:

I went through the same kinda thing with my parents too and it lasted about a good 7months... But all is well now and they have accepted it all. Don't get any more hassle lol Everything Gurujee throws at us is for a reason. He's trying to make you stronger and like everyone has said already...keep up the Simran and Ardas :wub: it will work and you'll be fine. Your doing wicked and your a great inspirtation to loads of people out there.

Hmmmm I know I tend to start thinking about what turned me to Sikhi when doing simran and then I start remembering all the times Vaheguroo helped me...this brings out all the love I have for him inside and after that its total bliss....
