1. oy, all of you are just elaborating on what i posted first! lol, but i'll let that pass as i'm such a mature person...... anyway what about: GSC (Global Sikh Channel) IKB (International Khalsa Broadcasts) or elaborations of the above.
2. lol yeah they're good at filling the world with c***. btw please no bhangra, it'll lead to stereotyping. if people want bhangra, celeb info and all that, then maybe a different channel would be best. and also is this freeview/sky/or virgin media?
3. definitely put some historical documentaries on sikhs on there. and i mean objective ones or pro-sikh ones, not the coconut rubbish they teach us in school, or the hindu/muslim junk that some nutjobs try to brainwash us with. secondly, a sikh news show, which is BASED OUTSIDE OF INDIA. they can give a fair and informative view on world issues and anything affecting sikhi. also they can report on things that happen in india that the indian govt is keen to hush up. they could also have journalists around the globe, kind of like other news shows do. if they do their job well, it will also attract non-sikhs who just want informative and objective news to the channel. if i get any other ideas i'll put them up. and hopefully others will say what they think of my ideas.
4. this really is ridiculous. what do we do now? is there anyway of emailing the site? someone should think up a template and get an email address of the site. if enough people email it, who knows......
5. fight for muslims to wear headscarves? we cant fight our own battles, let alone others. but if you want to i suggest you go and do it, rather than trying to get the whole sangat up in arms. its not as if helping them would change the views of sikhism that many musis hold.
6. oh and guess what, we lost. we just came 4th. lost out to a stupid treaty idea and some american hippy idea. well f****** done you lot. well at least you can all go back to whining and moaning about it safe in the knowledge that you'll probably never be called on to do something about it.
7. i'm bumping this again, come on people. hopefully, thanks to the time delay, our yankee and canadian cousins wont let us down.
8. right guys, facebook just blocked my account as they think i'm spamming. i set up another one and thats been stopped aswell. can some of you guys message the creators of the sikh/khalistani/84 groups and ask them to message the members of their group? and if the creator of a group puts a post on the wall, it cant be blocked. conisdering how many of us supposedly support the victims, we are still way behind 1st and 2nd place, come on make a difference.
9. come on people vote! do all you can it only takes 10 minutes! we moan about the bad things that happen, then we throw away any chance of doing anything about it, just so we can carry on moaning like sheep. so go vote now! the deadlines soon. email, text, whatever, just do it and get as many people as you know who care about this to vote.
10. can we have more information on those who converted to fight for khalistan please? i never knew about this, thanks for bringing it up. and it just goes to show what a just cause it was, especialy to those non-sikhs lurking around on here.
11.

it was thirst for revenge against those who helped the british. dont forget the indian mutiny- the indians tried to restore the mughal empire, and the remnants of the khalsa knew that they had to do everything to stop them, even if it meant joining the british indian army.
12. Sikh A: "boy, where is your hair!? you youngsters, with your hair cuts and flash clothes and what not, your not real sikhs!!!" Sikh B: " i was born into a family that aint religious and none of them keep kesh, its difficult but i am studying gurbani and our history. cant you see i am trying really hard to be the best sikh i can be?" Sikh A: " not good enough! its all about the kesh! how dare you call yourself sikh! your not fit to lick the boots of a keshdari you dog!!" Sikh B:"what?! your not going to help or share what you know? just going to pass judgement? some sikh you are...." Meanwhile............. RSS Hindustani/Baptist/Manic Mullah: "hahahah if this is how they treat one another it'll be easy to keep these sheep down for another 150 years!!!!!!!!"
13. i', not sure what your comment meant, trusoul are you talking about e. punjab? well if you are all i can say the community there needs as much help as the ones here in the uk or over in canada or america. but the youth movement got voted in in canada so things change, there is always hope. and what e.punjab really needs are people to travel around the state teaching people about gurbani. also we need to send money there from our gurudwaras to help build schools/orphanages/hospitals to counter the influence of the RSS and baptists. we need to give them the opportunity to show they are with us and to show that we didnt abandon them after 84. leaving them out to dry will be the beginning of the end for sikhism.
14. ""Sikhs" aint ready for nothing. We are quick to give it the large. I will be very suprised if they even twitch. If we did f'all in 1984+ dout we going to do anything now." nice attitude mate. so all those who spent the next 10 years of their lives fighting hindustan did it for no reason i guess. i'm not having a go at you or anyone, but the reason we're not major players in the region is because we sit on our asses moaning and turning down any chance of organising/protecting ourselves. then we get slapped around and wonder why. if the status quo carries on we can expect a lot worse than what could happen during a war.
15. "you misunderstand me, i dont trust hinudstan or pakistan when it comes to sikh welfare. imagine in a war if indian sikh troops were concentrated in e.punjab as they would fight harder near their homes than elsewhere along the border. then if the pak army attacked all along the border and broke through in rajasthan/ gujerat etc. they would move on delhi and central india. but the sikh regiments would create a salient as the e. punjab wouldnt be taken. as the rest of the indian army crumbled (without the sikh regiments) the paks would move furhter into india leaving pockets of resistance (i.e e. punjab). now if we were organised, we could then cut off their supply routes (going through the other parts of the border in rajasthan/gujerat etc) and leave them hapless and at our mercy. that way the khalsa raj could be re-established and we would be safe from our two enemies as their armies would be no more. and this may sound like a long shot but if it does come to war, we cant just sit there and see what fate we are given by others. and i'm not entirely sure what you mean with your second paragraph, could you explain it some more please?
16. the good part? well if sikhs were organized (which were not) a war would strengthen the cause for east punjab independence, allowing us to choose our destiny rather than fighting wars for others. look at previous wars ('71 was it?) sikh regiments prevented the pak army entering east punjab. but if they invaded all along the border and certain parts of india were over run, sikhs could form a seperate state. and if it looked like the paks were going to win we would be able to cut off their supply lines and get them too. but if you guys dont think sikh independence is worth it then please keep telling me how stupid my points are.
17. well of course we have to do something, but the real question is are we organised enough to do so? look around, no real organisations for sikhism exist. any of the half decent ones (in the west) get closed down as the indian govt moans organised sikhs are terrorists, and the can/uk govt appease them. so then we hear stories about turbans being set on fire etc. but we cant do anything, even some gurdwaras are pathetically run nowadays, its all one big unfunny joke.
18. this could turn out really good for sikhs in the region or really really bad. seeing as how disorganized our community is i think its the latter.
19. are you surprised? look how screwed up our culture is.... boys are spoilt and told how they intelligent they are (esp. the mona ones by their parents, who also give them a free reign to do what they want) but when it comes to their GCSEs they fail big time. then they spend the rest of their teenage years with their parent's b.s. in their heads, staying at home playing on xboxes rather than doing anything with their lives... meanwhile sikh girls arent treated that great compared to the boys so they become envious. then they go off and do things to spite their parents in secret... and these people grow up as warped individuals, who end up turning against sikhism because they see it as the same as the culture their parents raised them on. and before a whole load of ppl say 'no thats not true," and stick their heads in the sand, trying to find the answers by doing nothing or reading our holy book with their eyes shut, you only make things worse.
20. and what do you do? sit around making wisecracks? well i can see that working...... listen i aint tryin to point fingers, im just tellin u how i see it. cus teh only gud thing to every come to this world is going down the drain fast and it hurts to see it happening. i do agree with you, its just the way you made your point sounding like you were accusing some people without coming up with ideas on how to solve it. but the sikh regiment would have helped get sikh youths out of gangs/off their asses rather than just sitting at home- they could do something constructive with their lives. then sikhism would get greater renown and respect in the britain.... then organisations like the ISYF or Khalsa aid wouldnt be banned. the reasons we are going down the drain is because we're not organised and our foes dont respect/fear us. and when a solution comes around we flush it down the toilet, and then go back to sitting around arguing and moaning that it will never change. damn its like a sikh tragedy... we had one in the middle of the 19th century and now were set for another

22. I dont think things will get that bad on this occasion but what is clear that some British Muslim male's have been going to Pakistan to get modern urban warefare training in Jihadi terror camps, while the British "indian" community has got nothing. Even some members of the British Jewish community go to Israel to get military training from Israeli organisations. We are like sitting ducks if any violence and hostlities were to break out, what use is gatka in modern urban warefare? Surely Sikhs should actively seek out training courses where you can be prepared for such events for self defence purposes. Surely there must be courses run by British army that Sikh organisations can participate in? I agree with your point about British Gursikhs, they will always stay in their comfort zones and rely on the mona/sahejdhari Sikhs to fight their battles for them. When in fact the very reason the Khalsa was created was the other way around, for GurSikhs to be the soliders in the front line in defence of the dharam and community. The question arises has the role of the Khalsa become obsolete? Are the Khalsa's in the west sheep in lions clothing that Guru ji warned about? It's important to note that those muslims who are trying to mock sikhi in the video are a specific sect called salafi they are like sunni's but believe in direct confrontation with non-muslims. They also mock and try to target shia muslims at their gatherings. a sikh regiment in the british army would be a start. and the only way that would happen is if some of us took the plunge and joined up... Even if loads of us did join up - it's been made pretty clear the Army dont intend on creating a Sikh regiment as it leads to segregation etc. and there is no need for on in the army...according to those in control. Anyways all I can say is the best thing for all of us to do is join up - the army gives you much more than you can possibly imagine. - i.e. not just military training Agreed. I'm already looking into joining the TA. Btw it was Prince Charles who wanted to create one in the first place, so when (or if?!) he becomes king, then someone can raise the issue again...
23. the terrorists tortured and killed all hostages very early in the game. Yes, the NSG was very under-equipped. Manmohan Singh's agenda seems to be to defang Indian military capability. Probably he is taking out vengeance for blue star. Suffer my fellow Indians .. suffer. right who let the RSS lover on this forum?
24. well they're the black cats responsible for the problems in the punjab in the 80's and are used to killing civilians for fun. bunch of dogs with no honour the lot of them...
