The 38-year old Phd student of Purdue University, will have to spend an additional three years under "supervised release" under the supervision of a probation officer, the court said. He can though appeal the sentence in a Chicago court within 10 days of this judgement. Buddhi, who represented himself during the sentence hearing after firing his lawyer, said earlier that he was given the short end of the stick, and claimed the trial had been unfair. Before the sentencing Buddhi submitted to the judge that he had got "ineffective assistance" of the counsel and said it was the "gravest error of justice". Buddhi had on Thursday fired his lawyer Arlington Foley for not discussing the case properly, and said would "involuntarily represent himself" at the hearing. The prosecution has alleged that Buddhi posted messages on a yahoo business discussion forum which appeared in December 2005 and January 2006 calling upon the people of Iraq to retaliate against the perceived unjust war against them and kill then president George Bush, vice-president <banned word filter activated> Cheney and their spouses.

shiv sena does not have any presence in punjab apart from cities where allmost all anti-social elements are its members. a few years back they tried to take down posters of bhindranwale in tarn taran and were badly beaten and chased away by simranjit singh mann. shiv sena is limited only to goonda type elements which can work well in mumbai only.
