We should applaud these youngsters for trying to uphold the Izzat of their family. Well Done, I say! The acts they committed may be classed as criminal however at least they did not sit by and watch their Father's Dastaar role around in Mittee. If this was the case with most brothers in our community we would be much better off. The law and the media has termed this Sikh Honour Killing attempts etc, however maybe the law should look at the real culprits of Honour killings...the people who killed Princess Diana??? If a white person had done this, it would merely be classed as a revenge attack or jealousy. Singh n Ting you really wanna be careful what you say, the Manchester Gurdwara, Sri Guru Har Krishan Sahib Ji Gurdwara is not a Bhatra Gurdwara. If you are labelling that Community as being a type of Community that would set Gurdware on fire on purpose you are gonna get youself into trouble. To be honest, I disagree, you would have to be very good to catch this guy, even if you had an AK-47. Not because he is that fast (which he is) but more because he is very clever and an AK-47 is a very inaccurate Shastar. As for his lessons, he is probably the worst teacher I have ever been taught by, he has no sense of reality and he has never been pressure tested. The only time he was pressure tested was in Sach Khand, and we have all seen the video of him Bricking it...ha ha ha. Its a shame that someone with his character has been able to get so much publicity. But it is our fault. Is this for real??? Why the *uck are we protesting outside the Gurdwara Sahib in a litlle Cul-De-Sac. Our community has built up alot of anger against those who have refused to support us and have not co-operated with the Sikh Community....THE POLICE! They are to blame! They are not taking us seriously, our protest should be directed against the Police authorities, and we should be angered that they are not taking Sikh sentiments into consideration when carrying out their investigations. The only the way FutherMuckers who done this will get caught is if the police are shook up by our community, and we publicly blame the police for not acting more swiftly in catching the perpetrators. By now alot of vital evidence will have been disposed of by the Bow Gurdwara committee members who committed this act. The police should have arrested all the trustees and committee members and seized their phones and check who made the phone call to get the job done. I think a protest outside the Gurdwara Sahib is only going to annoy local people, and we will again have NO media coverage of what happened. Are we going to show banners to tens of council estate Goreh who live in that area or should we show them to the World (via the Media) when we stand outside the police station and show them our pain! Maharaj was burnt, and we are going to protest outside the Gurdwara Sahib, you are having a laugh!

Not all the Shaheeds were Gursikhs, some actually were Panjabi. I agree with some of the earlier comments made by Bhai Harjeet Singh, nonetheless, I think it is unfair to disrespect people, that when you turn up empty handed at their doorstep, they will welcome you with open arms and feed you with nothing but pure love...that is the Panjabi culture. The reason, I feel, ford capri brings up issues like these is because he feels the pain that many of us feel when we see our Panth going down the way it is. He perhaps does not use Gurbani or complexed theories to back up his thoughts but that is the way Vaheguru created him. I applaud anyone who actually takes out their time to think of ways that can improve the sorry state we are in. It is better than ignoring what is happening out in the real world. And as for Jeevans, anyone who has stayed with Mahapurakh or Sants will understand that it is their unconditional love that can bring you closer to Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. However, mess about or disprespect them and you will get a stern SLAP. This is not a form of abuse, but a form of discipline. It would be for our benefit. This is what I think Ford Capri is getting at. Discipline can make a world of difference, especially in Kalyug.

Wanabe, I think you need to wake up and come into the real world. Singh's do go to parties and so do Bibia! Go to central London on Saturday night and you will see Singh's, and yes I mean baptised ones. Go to Che-Bar and you may also see some Bibia, with Dastars on. Apart from that go to any wedding and you are guaranteed to see some young Singh's and Bibia dancing like Bhandars and partying...and as for these 3HO lot, they are always partying and acting like Bhandars. Back to the point, children, especially girls need to be diciplined in modern society. It is the 21st century and we do need to start looking towards equal rights, and get away from the Bhaman culture intalled in us. With regards to discipline, boys and girls should be disciplined in the same way. I know of a Bibi who was messing about, she was then put in hospital by her brothers. This is the last means of trying to resolve the issue, and funnily enough it did work. Kids. or teenagers should not be beaten by drunken parents who have nothing better to do. But they should be disciplined. Go out to the clubs, and speak to all the dirty girls who are falling over drunk, and ask them if they were ever hit by their parents...I think you will find the majority of them will say "NO WAY, we have got modern parents who love us!" Which basically means, my parents are both probably cheating on each other and have not got time for me. Psychologists, such as Toni, have discussed this in great detail, and say there are three key factors in raising a child: 1) The parents should both have the same ideas as to what forms a good marriage 2) The parents should have the same thoughts as how they intend to bring up their child 3) They should enforce strict rules and boundaries that the child should not break You notice something??? LOVE is not mentioned. Why? Because even parents who sexually abuse their own children still profess to loving that child. Discipline is not the key to bringing your children, however, it is an important factor.

Ermmm...I dont think Giddar has got a leg to stand on. We went to his Akhara for 2 years and learnt that Sikhs can cut there hair, you are aloud to rape (in certain Circumstances) You can eat Halal, Drinking is OK, and Giddar does promote the use of drugs...not just Shaheedi Degh but also Heroine. He has admitted to knowing Black Magic, even though he claims he does not use it? He is a bit of a special person, like special needs. In his book he compares Baba Kulwant Singh Ji to a Cameleon, however, he has on a number of occassions changed his views when challenged. I think everyone should just ignore him, he is like a dog, and soon will stop barking.
