  1. Bhenji as Untitled Singh mentioned, you are probably feeling really upset at the moment but there is someone else out there who Waheguru Jee wants you to spend the rest of your life with.. Baba Nand Singh Jee used to say: Jo Keeta So Vah Vah - What you have done for me in the past is great Jo Kar Kara Rahe Ho So Vah Vah - What you are doing for me at present is great Jo Karoge So Vah Vah - What you will do for me in the future will be great When you get down, think of the above. At least you know now what he thinks and will be able to get on with your life. Stay in Chardi Kala Bhenji :TH:
  2. I totally agree with you SScom. Just reminds me of Bhai Kaniya who gave aid and comfort to Muslims in the battlefied, because he saw Guru Jee in Muslims as well as in the sikhs.

Guru Jee is so great that he answers all our questions, we just need to ask him and listen to him. Guru Jee says in this shabad that it is only by God's grace that we meet Guru Jee and cotemplate on Waheguru and are wonderstruck. You say that you get <Edited> off when people dont realise that they are wasting their lives. I can understand that if someone has discovered Waheguru Jee, they will want other people to realise his greatness and to discover him. If one has realised that the world is full of Maya, they will want to tell others not to waste their time in indulging in useless pleasures and falling a victim to Kaam, Krodh, Lobh, Moh and Hankaar. We can only try to tell them about Guru Jee and if individuals are not willing to listen, then it may not be written in their karam to discover Guru Jee. Whether we are blessed enough to meet with Waheguru Jee in this human life has already been written on our foreheads before we were born. I think that the best one can do is Ardas to Waheguru Jee to bless us with his kirpa so that we realise the true purpose of life and recite his Naam with every breath that we take. Waheguru Waheguru Waheguru
  10. Waheguru Jee Ka Khalsa Waheguru Jee Kee Fateh I would just like to let my Bhaji's and Bhenji's know about Gyani Rajinder Singh who is doing Gurbani Veechar of Shabads from Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee on Sukhsagar Radio in the evenings. He is an amazing kathavachik, I've been listening to the katha for the last few days and would recommend others to listen as well. First time that I have across Gyani Jee, he does veechar of the shabads in such a simple way so that they can be understood easily. Waheguru Jee Ka Khalsa Waheguru Jee Kee Fateh

  12. This thread is getting a bit personal.. Sewa is something that we do not do ourselves by our own efforts but our Guru Jee does his kirpa on us and blesses us with the opportunity to do Sewa. Guru Jee could change his mind and take away the opportunity from us to do the Sewa. Everything is in his hukam. There is not one type of sewa but thousands and thousands of types of Sewa. We have no right to say to someone that so and so is not doing sewa if they are not performing a certain sewa which we are doing. Guru Jee says: saa saevaa keethee safal hai jith sathigur kaa man ma(n)nae || Fruitful and rewarding is that service, which is pleasing to the Guru's Mind. Waheguru Waheguru har kee thum saevaa karahu dhoojee saevaa karahu n koe jee || Serve the Lord; do not serve anyone else. har kee saevaa thae manahu chi(n)dhiaa fal paaeeai dhoojee saevaa janam birathhaa jaae jee ||1|| Serving the Lord, you shall obtain the fruits of your heart's desires; serving another, your life shall pass away in vain. ||1||

  14. Congratulations Bhaji :TH: Really nice story as to how you were inspired into Sikhi
  15. I've been to Gurdwara Bandi Shor, beautiful gurdwara near Agra.
  16. Waheguru Jee Ka Khalsa Waheguru Jee Kee Fateh I believe that the first teachers of a young child are the parents. If a child is brought up where the parents believe in Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee as their Guru and the children are taught as kids to respect Guru Jee and read Gurbani, then the children will grow up to respect Bani, and treat Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee as their living Guru Jee. The children wil have the "Nadar" of Guru Jee But if the parents are not into Sikhi, know nothing about Guru Jee and Gurbani, then the youth cannot be blamed that they do not know about Guru Jee and do not respect Guru Jee. It is upto parents initially to teach the kids about Sikhi and respecting Guru Jee. I think we all as individuals need to respect Guru Jee more as our living Guru. The more sharda and prem we have for Guru Jee, the happier Guru Jee will be with us. Bhul Chuk Maaf
