wjkk wjkf, I've had a quick look at the website and I can't find it stating it will launch on sky/virgin I think it is an online tv station only - also is this that "Gurmat Tv" channel that was very gupt and mentioned before!

This is getting beyond a joke these small minded Committee members with no other claim to fame think they can "vote" against the Sikh principles. I would request that the Tv / Radio channels to interview these people and question them on how much real knowledge they have about Sikhi ie: Can they read Gurmukhi / English? Can they understand and recite Gurbani? What SEVA have they done for the local Sangat or Community? LETS SEE THE ACCOUNTS! Having a meeting about a meeting about a meeting regarding ANTI-SIKH values is STUPID and only delays the result and gives the Khalsa more pain. When I am investigating crime it's usually the big time drug dealers that instruct the antisocial teenagers to cause havoc locally this way taking police resources away from the main problem. wjkk wjkf, as has been said before you should do seva with your own hand by helping the poor and unfortunate which will fill your soul with humility and joy as you witness the change personally. I would help your own village by doing this we bring back the lost Sikh's who take from christian / fake sadhs and move away from Sikhi.

Pyare Khalsa Ji we MUST STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING there is no need for these MEGA TV screens to be placed at Sri Darbar Sahib Ji. SGPC should use our charavha / funds to launch a LIVE ONLINE TV Channel direct from the Golden Temple with "subtitles" so the WHOLE WORLD can enjoy Gurbani in their own homes. Sangat Jio this is a highly organised fund raising excercise as I have seen the same "advert story" on many websites and I am very suspicious of this venture. Toronto Sikhs if you have collected funds for your project why not use them for a Online Tv Channel.

I totally agree with AK-47 this sort of seva is not for Amritsar it should be done in the partsof Punjab where the Dera/Christians are strong or really around the world outside India where non-sikhs can see it. Who has time to read these LED screens if placed at Shri Darbar Sahib Ji as the devout are doing their prayers / seva, the tourists are queing to run in and out on a whistle-stop-tour of the historic buildings and the Pardesi Sikhs are quickly doing a "matha thek" before they catch their plane back home! When I went to the Vatican City I would have walked past any big tv screens and striaight to the original treasures and works of art like most visitors to India do they can watch Gurbani with subtitles online or Sky Tv whenever. This massive development idea should have at least been discussed with other world Sikh representatives as this is the first I have heard of this it has not been mentioned on Tv/Radio? If the Sangat of Canada want to do seva maybe they should start -up a Sikh media Tv channel where they can do parchar and also try and sort out the major drug gangster culture killing our lost Punjabi's rather than make Amritsar resemble the likes of Hong Kong. Hang on a minute what's happening? Are Sikh Channel asking for a further 2000 subs to the already approx 2000 they enlisted before? Why a need for another 2000 subs are Sikh Channel opening-up another channel or have the TV costs doubled? Most of the Sangat have no issue insupporting Gurmat Tv and Radio channels if the costs are recorded and the proper use of these funds shown.
