  4. 2128 please don't reply in a rant where you think you know what you are talking about quoting Gurbani does not make you right if you answer the wrong question. I have not "slandered" anyone its the truth they do sell "ancient" medicinal herbal hocus pocus potions and hippie new age indic inspired chant music http://www.satnam.eu/index.en.php - DO NOT INSULT ME AGAIN. And if I do have a problem with anyone I am intelligent enough to sort it out myself without bystanders giving me obvious advice thank you. You carry on respecting white, pink, green sikhs I only respect Gursikhs that are the Guru Khalsa. I am hesitant to make this reply to you just incase you don't get it and start trumpeting how wonderful this group are and they lead the way to "a whole new world"...LOL

  7. UKLondonSikh ji - I feel that we as the awakened members of the Khalsa (I say this as we question and discuss without fear or malice) are at the brink of a magnificent Sikhi renaissance (especially the joint worldwide thinking via the internet) where the spark ignited by Bhai Rajoana ji is vibrating our urge for the REAL Guru Khalsa. We want CHANGE we want UNITY but above ALL we want SIKHI to flourish. I want something to happen in my lifetime and not miss out and enjoy the presence of a blessed Sadh Sangat Ji as given to us by Dhan Dhan Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
  8. Chauder means ego full of self importance SORRY Rebelsingh I am angry at the moment and misread your post
  9. Rebel singh "what Chauder" are you joking why have we got 10 Gurdwaras in some local area's ALL caste based when Sikhi is the Khalsa all equal. What ever you think of Dr Ambedkar (I don't know much either) but he had the vision of not joining something which he could see miles off which many of us even now shy away from admitting.
  10. Rebelsingh "what Chauder" have you seen the amount of Gurdwaras in Birmingham / Southal ie Singh Sabha, Ramgharia, Bhatra ALL CASTE based etc they ALL need Committees with a leader and his minions if this is not Chauder I don't know what is... why do these mugs need to call themselves leaders maybe in the real world they can't speak good enough English to be head of anything else.
  11. The biggest GADARS that caused damage and division to Sikhism are those who believe in CASTE especially those KU%JARS who want CHAUDER in Gurdwaras and those moronic leaders who did not break-away from India during 1947 AND told DR Ambedkar that Chamar and Churey had to be Ravidassia sikh / Mezhbie sikhs and that's why he chose Buddhism because he knew the then Sikh's would never accept them as equals. Like another thread on this forum the best we can do is unite ALL Gurdwaras under one Nishan Sahib = The KHALSA I am ANGRY the more and more I learn about the sell-outs in our community and the fake history that has been sold to us.
  12. MokhamSingh ji you have reminded me about what I have been watching on the UK Asian christian channels aswell as Glory TV there are now 3 other dedicated Asian Church programmes on Sky - Sunrise TV, Venus TV and MATV. Yesterday on Venus TV there was this Punjabi Aunty (a right loud mouthed gulabo massie type) praising "Jesus bachan" and how we should all listen to her. She was spouting the old parrot fashion speeches as taught by the christian missions but she came across as a "real" person saying people that know me know I have had a past "nau so chuhe khake billee hajj ko chaliee par mai hajj nu nahin chaliee menu yassu massih de bachan ne bachaliya". It's this type of one-to-one engagement our Sikhi parchar is missing and that is why especially Punjabi's who feel they are judged on caste, family gossip, wealth feel it easier to start afresh with a group of people who embrace them into a new family.
  13. Mokhamsingh ji you could be right but the thing is the viewer only sees the stereotype Sikh image and they think what a weak religion it's just like the Asian Christian channels they make a point of showing Sardars with turban singing hymns and becoming christians so again viewers think Sikhs are an easy target.
  14. I think its fantastic that we have 2 Sikh faith tv channels based in the UK that are seen worldwide its just sad that they have to struggle financially in such a wealthy country. The main reason for me is choice as one minute I can be watching gurbani keertan from Italy then the next I swap channels to watch a live sikhi talk show from Derby. I pray waheguru shows me the day that there is an entire network of Sikh faith channels that are based in every country where there are large Sikh communities and are broadcasting in Punjabi/English and especially the local language. I know times are hard and money is tight and it would make sense to have one channel that has no money worries but then you are reliant on the viewer to wait until a programme comes on which they understand and don't switch over to something else ie grandad won't watch yoga in English and young kid won't watch Punjabi discussion on desi politics. Even with 2 channels I was still frustrated as Sikh Channel was flying around the world Live at such a speed today from India to Derby to Wolverhampton that there was not enough time to view each sufficiently for me as soon as I started enjoying the programme it changed to something else - talk about armchair airmiles!
  15. This is exactly why we need to support our Sikh faith TV & Radio channels to educate morons like this..what a dumb reason to have to become a muslim. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IypPecAI11U
  16. BUMP - Hope to see many old friends/family and be part of the Sadh Sagat at Gravesend nagar keertan tomorrow
  17. I watched some of it and it was the show from India "EkNoor" this show is shown in Punjab and the host was asking the "christian father" to explain indepth everything to do with Easter? which was more like a church preaching lesson ... I was not impressed and switched channels. Then I watched Zee Punjabi which was running Easter christian promos with celebrating and remembering Christ. Is it me or is there a massive wave to convert Punjab away from Sikhi any-which-way possible or at least dilute it with other cultures. A Sikh faith channel should be just that SIKH.
  18. Published in The Express Tribune, April 8th, 2012 LAHORE: The death of a Sikh youth, Dhavinder Singh, in an armed attack in Nankana Sahib has created tension between Muslim and Sikh communities in the district. According to an FIR filed by the victim’s brother, Dhavinder Singh was shot and critically injured by unidentified man on March 7. Singh was rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital Nankana Sahib, where doctors referred him to the Allied Hospital in Faisalabad due to his precarious condition. Later, he was shifted to Islamabad where he succumbed to his injuries on Friday, 30 days after the attack. Incensed by the murder, hundreds of Sikhs gathered on Lahore Road in Mananwala. They blocked the road for about two hours and chanted slogans against the police for ‘their failure’ to arrest the killer. They also tried to march towards the Lahore Press Club but were stopped by the police. Senior police officials, including Sheikhupura’s regional police officer, reached the scene and assured the protesters that the killer would be arrested. After the assurance, the protesters dispersed peacefully. “We respect the Sikhs and ensuring their security is our priority,” said Sheikhupura’s Regional Police Officer DIG Zulfiqar Cheema, while speaking to The Express Tribune. He added that a suspect named by the victim’s relatives in the FIR, Chaudhry Zaman, has been taken into custody and a formal investigation has been launched. However, sources said that the police have not yet arrested Zaman. Relatives of Zaman, meanwhile, took out a rally after Friday prayers from Jamia Mosque on Railway Road. The protesters, over 200 in number, shouted slogans against the Sikh community and the local police, claiming that the accusations against Zaman were baseless. In an attempt to avoid clashes or untoward incidents, a heavy police contingent has been deployed in the area. http://tribune.com.pk/story/361412/communal-tensions-nankana-tense-after-sikh-youths-murder/
