that was interview of Giani Iqbal Singh of Patna Sahib , who criticizes even Akal takhat every now and then , and openly challanges th eSikh Maryada adopted by Akal Takhat & SGPC

Every word in the post is absolutely true .Even the raagis & pracharaks of SGPC have to pay to SGPC a part of their income from abroad while on tour to west, also they have to do muthi garam of every employee at SGPC WHO is any way connected in clearing his file , then the sponsoring Gurdwara in UK has to be compensated , and , we can imagine the quality of such ragis & granthis . Cannot say why gurdwaras with high revenues do not employ trained & educated granthis .In my lifespan extending app half century I have not come across a single pracharak or granthi who is well versed in philosophy or comparative religion . the reason as said in above post is obvious , and the result is visible in the new . generation who are drifting away from faith. the voluntary work alone is not sufficient to get back the youth , at gurdwara we must have qualified granthi who can answer logically to the querries of the young people , and that cannot happen unless we pay them handsomely

now that the news is confirmed , what the USA sangat proposes to do? Can we in India some way join hands to help, what kind of assistance we can give? should this be reported to SGPC , lest they claim ignorance in future ? Though i feel you are getting right guidance from yr family, just feel relieved that you have got rid of a bhekhi Sikh , for our sins , if we really do tauba fronm the past , the Guru and the Goid is always benevolent (dayal , kirpal , rahim , karim are the words used in gurbani ) and surely guides towards virtue if we just try and leave every thing to HIM , so forget about the past , just have faith in his forgiveness and try to mould yourself in a manner you feel is virtuous .He ia always with you may you get His blessings

we are discussing an incident which should get immidiate attention , and not the news paper or the editor, the report gives snaps of the pres & secy of the gurdwara. My purpose was to get the same confirmed or denied by any singh in USA . Further discussions about the person or news paper, i request the guys to start a new thread

to day we have come across news that the Rochester Gurdwara (usa) the trustees of Gurdwara(all clean shavens ) have through court petition suceeded in banning entries of sabat surat and amritdhari singhs in Gurdwara. the family that prays togather stays togather, while doing ardas in the evening just think about the singhs and singhnis (whom we remember in Ardas)and theit sacrifices, the Guru himself will give the strength to withstand all the worldly vices.

more unfortunate is the fact that it is the govt of the so called Panthik party who does all that .

the word PARCHA (ALSO PARCHAU) is used in gurbani with different meanings at different places, please quote complete line atleast (better if full reference ie raag , patshahi who wrote and panna at SGGS) to get the meaning . other way please refer to teeka by prof Sahib Singh or Faridkot wali tika IN mahan kosh bhai KAHAN Singh Nabha describes the word as originating from the sanskrit word PARICHAY (the jaankari or the information) the word is as per my knowledge is used in bhattan de swaiye once in sawaiye mahaley chouthe ke , and once in sawaiye m 3 (both written by bhatts) wher it means information (sawaiye m4 ke ) and proof (sawaiye m3ke) however , iin farsiand urdu it means a piece of paper with some message written on it If you have come across any other place plz quote full line thanks
