  1. To remember god at the last moment of your life would involve freeing oneself from attachment. A normal dying person would think of the world they're leaving behind, relatives, friends or possessions, they'd try desperately to hold on to the world instead of having faith in gods protection. The fear of death should not be underestimated and for the fear to subside, one must have full faith in gods protection hereafter. Remembering and having faith in god throughout your life would make one much more likely to think about god at the time of their death.
  2. I say go to Subway and copy their ideas
  3. Request to iPhone Singh Donate your iphone to the poor.
  4. I hope you won't mind me asking you but are you aware of any true sants worldwide or just in the UK or India?
  5. Are you talking to me? I'm saying the opposite, what im saying is people can kick up a fuss about clothes all they want but what matters is if your insides are clean. You can wear skinny jeans, a salwar suit, old school amritdhari dress but if your insides are not pure, if the light of god is not shining within you and your love for god is not true it doesnt matter how you dress, you can't shift filth from within by focusing on the outside. People should stop arguing about dress and become pure.
  6. Yes why darned not?!! Why not demand apologies, justice and compensations and help for the widows of 1984? Why not demand our holy state back before we fight for a govt that has wronged us so. Just because the PM wears a pagh, he is a hindu govt asslicking fool put there to keep us sweet, us sikhs of whom 1 can destroy an army of 125,000. We could start up a sikh army instead like we are actually supposed to until they are willing to give us back punjab and put the perpertrators of 1984 including Amitabh mor-on Bachan behind bars.
  7. That's the best post I've ever read on here^^^ You are a true soldier, I feel proud and relieved there are sikhs like you in the world. Godbless you. Any Sikh that does not already know about this may god forgive you and may you educate yourself. Read gurbani and find the truth, we live in hell, the darkest age known to mankind. Be a true sant soldier and realise the truth, do not ignore the truth and think you live in a happy and just world, this is satans time on earth, he has his own soldiers and UNDERSTAND that they are the kings of this world. The Kal age is a knife, kings are butchers; justice hath taken wings and fled. In this completely dark night of falsehood the moon of truth is never seen to rise. I have become perplexed in my search: In the darkness I find no way. Devoted to pride, I weep in sorrow: Saith Nanak, how shall deliverance be obtained?[1] Our gurus knew all of this, they have given us the signs, it is up to us to protect our minds and souls and learn the truth. Kalyug is truly upon us. May Waheguru save us.:waheguru:
  8. I agree, the same financiers of the nazi regimes weapons and resources run America, the UK and most of the world today. It's the people who have and control the money that really run countries (and finance presidents etc., they've almost completely taken over and their plans have nearly fully come into fruition, they also leave their signs everywhere, they're hard to miss!). People need to open their eyes.
  9. I say we all change our surnames to Singh or Kaur. I'm thinking of getting rid of my current surname in the future.
  10. Ok ok I agree with you and I agree and where inncocent people need help they should get it! Buutttt, it would have been nice to have been shown some appreciation from the british govt for helping protect their nation rather than being massacred by them in Jallianwala Bagh, I'm pretty sure thats something every1 can agree on.
  11. I'm sorry I'm just very angry that Sikhs were being killed in India while others were fighting for those who were killing us. In one way I see it as a sell out but I guess it can be seen as an act of goodness aswell. But it's like sikhs fighting for moghuls somewhere while they massacre us elsewhere, the British govt was under royal rule so the same people who gave orders for sikh oppression were really the same people these sikhs were fighting for. I know britain needed help and that it was a world war etc but brits should have given us back punjab if they wanted us to fight. I'm not talking about the Indian army though, they did very well and helped the world alot. But If Britain wanted sikh help they should have treated us much much better and given us back Punjab for good- you cant beat someones mother while asking for their sons help.
  12. Hi there sorry I started a new thread in media, only just saw this one now! Like I said on the other thread, I don't understand how a singh of the guru could fight for the same people who oppressed and massacred our people. The soldiers who survived went home only to see Amritsar locked down under an even harsher British regime and the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Coming over here to Britain and hunting down those that ordered the oppression and murder of sikhs would have been a much better idea, if I was going to put down my life it would be to murder those responsible, not fight for them.
  13. I have to say I fail to understand how a Singh of the Guru could fight for the same people (British govt) who oppressed and massacred us.
  14. Tune in to BBC ONE in the UK if you can, they're running a documentary on sikhs in the military and the british empire- On till 11:50pm, sorry to post so late into the programme!
  15. Even psychics and spiritualists have an understanding that there is more to life than meets the eye. Saints see things even clearer. The power of god is intertwined with our surroundings and selves, some are able to see it, others to hear and feel it. Others see and feel entities also made by gods power which many are not able to percieve. God is unseen but there is certainly much proof of his existance. Evil makes us doubt the lord and this is its main purpose. In the absence of light (knowledge of and belief/faith in god) there is darkness. Don't give in to doubt, when you turn your back on your creator you hurt him and will only have pain and suffering. Believe and make a vow never to turn your back, turning your back means embracing the darkness of kalyug, there are only 2 paths, one light and one dark. Every single time I have turned my back I have felt a million times more pain and suffering than i've felt when I believe and have faith. My suffering takes months to overcome (It is overcome only with His grace), for the minute I lose faith I experience so much suffering I lose the will to live. I have come to realise that I am only here for god, to find him and so are you. Only Faith and love will allow you to delve deeper and deeper into the truth and achieve union with god, who is Truth itself.
  16. Amazing! if the UN doesn't listen to this they are inhuman. Well done to everyone involved, you make me feel so proud to be sikh and Teji Kaur u are a true soldier. P.s the Singhs were looking exceptionally smart in their suits, they wear them much better than those slimy politicians! P.P.s India voted in favour of the UN's International Declaration of Human Rights in 1948, what a shame they go against almost every single Article of it P.P.P.s Let all Sikhs know that Amitabh Bachaan incited the public to kill sikhs in 1984, all sikhs please folllow this link and from this day forward promise never to watch another badly acted Amitabh Bachchan film (All of them)- This guy deserves no less than what Indira got: http://www.sikhsforj...mitabh-bachchan http://www.sikhsanga...-in-me-beckons/ This guy is a total mo ron
  17. Okay I get it, tobacco in amritsar is Beadbi itself. This task is gonna be a huge one though, after decades of having tobacco in amritsar, it could get very nasty.
  18. What these singhs have done is wrong, they have acted like thugs. People consumed intoxicants during our gurus times but our gurus preached and those who chose to listen did, the key word being chose. If however the shopkepers were doing beadbi of some kind then I take this back. We have free will, if we didn't we'd all be perfect, we don't force people to conform to our beliefs like muslims do.
  19. Hi there It's called Gurdwarra Sannh Sahib Theres info about it here: http://www.thesikhencyclopedia.com/punjab/basarke-gillan.html
  20. Sounds amazing, didn't something this big coming! And finally something for the kids aswell, well done! Goodluck and godbless.
  21. The way I see it, there would be no need for Sikhi if other religons were true. Although I was born into a Sikh family before becoming religious, I looked into other religions and compared Sikhi to them. Out of all the religions I have researched, I came to the conclusion that Sikhi is by far the best. But if I thought Buddism or christianity were better I would definiately have followed their beliefs. Just about everyone has access to information on religions by way of internet and books or word of mouth these days so there really is no excuse for us to say that just becuase one is born into a certain religion that is the one they have to follow. Everyone has a choice.
