Yes, let’s keep on making our own history via "oral tradition". I am glad that the Guru Sahibs ensure that the Guru Granth Sahib was in a written form, even though oral tradition existed at that time. Otherwise, everything will be nihung history.

I am glad Santa Singh asked for forgiveness, and Akal Takht gave him one. However, he is the one who collaborated with Indira and did most damage to Sikh Panth.

I agree we don't need to bring this up again because Santa Singh accepted his mistake in front of Akal Thakht. However, we cannot sweep under the rug that he was the biggest traitor of Sikh panth.

Yes, this is all fictional history about Nihangs. These are the same people who have hard time believing that Santa Singh was the biggest traitor for Sikh religion, and this happened less than 30 years ago (i.e., what Santa Singh did in 1984). Just imagine what their history will be for the events that happened 200 years ago!

I agree with Johnny! If you are in the Karnal area of Haryana, you can just look at the crops in two adjacent fields, and by examining the crops you can tell if the land is being cultivated by a Sikh or a Haryanvi (sikh cultivator will have better crop). I don't want to stereotype people (I know I have already done that), I am sure there are some bad Sikh farmers and some good Haryanvi farmers (however that is mostly exceptions).
