  1. Kabir, marta marta jagg muaa, marr bhi naa jaaney koye, Aisi marni jo marrey, bahur naa marna hoye. Kabir, the world is dying – dying to death, but no one knows how to truly die. Whoever dies, let him die such a death, that he does not have to die again On October 30th, 2010 the Neverforget84.com sevadaars alongside local volunteers (Southall) organised a Mahaan Sanjha Shaheedi Smagam in remembrance of those massacred in the 1984 Anti Sikh Pogroms, and also in remembrance of Shaheeds: Bhai Harjinder Singh 'Jinda', Bhai Sukhdev Singh 'Sukha', Bhai Beant Singh, Bhai Satwant Singh and Bhai Kehar Singh. All Panthic Jathebandis participated whereby Kirtan and Katha was performed by AKJ, Taksaali, and Nihung Jathas, in addition to Dhadhi by Bhai Rasal Singh Chola Sahib (son of Shaheed Bhai Nirmal Singh, Chola Sahib) and Kavishri from Jagowale Jatha. At this program, the 2nd Issue of Singh Soorme magazine was released, which details the lives and Shaheedi of the aforementioned Shaheeds. From interviews with those who knew them personally, and letters written by them during the 4+ years they spent on death row, the magazine contains an exclusive and unique insight into two of the most prominent Jujharoo Singhs of the Khalistan movement, "Sukha and Jinda". From their childhood, getting into Sikhi and joining the KCF, to assassinating the General Army Chief of Staff, AS Vaidya and Congress leaders Lalit Maken and Arjun Dass, to their Shaheedi. Within 5 months of Operation Bluestar, Indira Gandhi the then Indian Prime Minister who ordered the attack was assassinated by Shaheed Beant Singh and Satwant Singh. Sadly very little is known about these two and also Bhai Kehar Singh who was framed for Conspiracy and also hanged alongside Satwant Singh. Using extracts from an in-depth interview with late Bibi Bimal Kaur and Shaheed Bhai Beant Singh's children, an insight into the of consciousness of these two Shaheeds is given to understand what moved them to take Amrit and assassinate Indira Gandhi. The Neverforget84.com team are grateful to the Sangat who made this achievement possible by donating £616 towards the £2100 for the printing of 4,000 copies which will be distributed in the UK and North America. Magazines have been sent out to all donors this week. If anyone would like a copy please make a donation (to cover postage and packing) of £3 (UK) or £5 (rest of the world). All donations received will go towards the next edition, all donations will be published on the website (with or without names) as before. To ensure every Sikh is aware of the sacrifices made by our Shaheeds please continue to support the project. To order a copy of the magazine, please visit: http://www.neverforg...-soorme-issue-2
  2. Unfortunately, as things stand, a communist styled movement is more likely to take place and succeed in Punjab over a religious (Sikh) one.
  3. This thread to me is not about the college, its about you (subtly) portraying Khalsa Aid as an anti-panthic organization, which is clearly incorrect. I have asked you many times now to provide the ACTUAL syllabus which is taught on behalf of Khalsa Aid to back your statements, yet you fail to do so. I agree that the missionary teachings are wrong but that does not mean to say that Khalsa Aid workers are preaching those very teachings, so unless you or anyone else can provide the exact syllabus being taught on behalf of Khalsa Aid you should retract your statements regarding the charity. PS: If you were so clued up as to whats happening in Punjab then you would know that it was Singh's close to us who first exposed the likes of the Spokesman editor. So dont go throwing wild accusations at people you know nothing about.
  4. As far as Im aware Khalsa Aid has employed students who teach kids, as little as 5-6 years old the basics of Sikhi, where no controversial subjects are even mentioned. It's only in order for the kids to understand their roots and not fall prey to chrisitan missionaries in the future. Think logically, what 5 year old is going to understand the topic of Dasam Granth. Once again provide the syllabus, If it's true what you say, then I too would question Khalsa Aid sewadars on the matter, but until then all you are doing is making assumptions. Also since you have "no doubt" I was taught at the missionary college, go ahead and prove that one too, gonna doctor me a certificate? Not very gentleman-like of you to spread lies about others is it?
  5. You need to get YOUR facts right, students from the college teach the kids, not teachers or lecturers from that college. The syllabus you keep referring to (which is taught to the kids) is not provided by the college. The kids are given basic Sikhi teachings, in areas which have high rates of christian conversions. So once again, provide proof of Khalsa Aid teaching the kids anti-sikh principles else bakwas band kar.
  6. And what proof do you have that suggests that the sewadars of Khalsa Aid are not providing education within the regulations of SGPC? The kids as young as 5-6 years old are taught the basics of Sikhi, away from the controversial subjects. Don't throw mud at those whom are actually doing things rather than sitting at home nit-picking. As it has been said before no other Jathebandi whether it be Taksal or AK J has stepped forward to send parchaaraks, infact since you know everything that should be done and in which manner, perhaps you should take some time and go village to village educating children. LOL its the case of naa kujh karna tay nah kisay nu karn dehna, bass latta kihcho aglaya diya. In which case GPS would be a good kabbadi player.
  7. I know I'd much rather donate to Khalsa Aid who have projects supporting Dharmi Fauji's over donating to Sikhnet whom take a salary for their "sewa"
  8. Donate to a trusted and established charity such as Khalsa Aid.
  9. Millions of pounds are spent on building Gurdwaras on the same street as existing Gurdwaras, thousands of pounds are raised in Gurdwaras for humantiarian aid charities but when it comes to looking after our own we fail miserably, this is the sad state of our kaum today.
  10. Should also be added that the great Shaheeds: Bhai Harjinder Singh Jinda, Bhai Sukhdev Singh Sukha, Bhai Swaranjit Singh Aladinpur, Bhai Surjeet Singh Painta along with others brought to justice some of the main perpetrators of the massacres.
  11. Sant Ji said give us space to stand, we'll sit ourselves. In the same way...give us our land and resources we'll sort out our problems also.
  12. Dal Khalsa overall has some good Singhs whom have spent time in prison or sacrificed a lot for the Sikh cause. However, Southall Youth, Manmohan Singh is all talk, those whom are proactive do their sewa away from the spotlight, not by standing with 10 muslims shouting Takbir on the streets of London (just watch the youtube video and see how embarassing it is). As for RSS, the Singhs in Punjab exposed the RSS and their stooges long before Dal Khalsa. They did so by going around USA/Canada/UK with detailed presentations on the topic. Not to mention that Dal Khalsa were so clued up on the RSS that Rulda Singh was pictured with Manmohan Singh?
  13. GPS: Why dont you call Manmohan Singh directly? Southall Youth: What ever happened to Dal Khalsa's Sarbjit Singh Ghuman, was he ever released?
  14. MAJHAIL_JATT: people cant face the truth, its the same people who once called Baba Manochahal an agent and the likes of Jasbir Singh Rode 'panthic' that now shy away from such topics.
  15. If you go to Darbar Sahib, just ask for the Taksal shop, aka shop no 31 they moved location last year, but everyone knows them and will point you in right direction
  16. The spirit of Jinda Sukha resides within Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana...an inspiration for us all
  17. To Commemorate the Barsi of Bhai Harjinder Singh 'Jinda' and Bhai Sukhdev Singh 'Sukha' a Mahaan Sanjha Smaagam has been organised, inviting all Panthic Jathabandis and UK Sangat. 18. Alternate scenario....a family who's entire ancestors have been in the medical profession, ie doctors, their son doesn't know what a stethoscope is...doctora da munda hoke ehna vi nahi patta tainu?....sometimes jatt can simply mean farmer....but apparently you cannot use it in a sentence bcoz its only promoting caste LOL
  19. You don't understand the law nor its loopholes. The lawyers do, thats all that needs to be said in the matter. If these Singhs can live to fight another day then they deserve it, no need for them to rot in prison just to please your thinking.
  20. This rather sums up the state we are in, largest Sikh party in UK + Sikh Student body = 50 attendees
  21. Dushts where killed in the presence of the 6th and 10th Guru. So why is it not acceptible for it to be in Guru's darbar, the very place the beadbi was taking place? Where ramalay were wiped on the so called sants feet, "sangat" bowing to the "sant" sitting higher than Guru Granth Sahib.
