  1. It's called ' Sukka' (dry) Prsad and is served because of the dryness (and calories ) - Rehansbaai probably does not last for just an hour?
  2. On the other hand one cup chaa is good for your lung functionality. Keeps you alert when you need to be for e.g. doing path during Akhnd Path especially for the ones who do night duty. It's very difficult for security guards to keep themselves awake whole night without chaa or coffee. You need to keep a good balance of whatever you eat or drink. If you want to get rid of chaa, also get rid of all kinds of fizzy drinks and fast foods such as chips and pizza. Too much masale in food is also not good and neither is too much tadke vali daal. Where do you draw the line?
  3. It's a punjabi culture now to drink chaa lol. Before British came to India, people weren't addicted to it and would consume big steel container dudh (samundr). This is one of the reasons youngsters and kids are not doing that great health wise...
  4. Chaa is not harmful if you drink it within proportions. If you don't drink it, you are not missing any blissful experience either. Peeni pio nhi peeni na pio. Eve gaah paya.
  5. You may know what a chicken consumes? Its all what we would call $hit..
  6. Unfortunately, most of us aren't Khalsa anymore. Just cheap talk makes us rough and tough most think...
  7. Many mahaan mahapursh used to drink tea and coffee. So, it's obvious it's not bad. Btw Taksal Singhs also drink chaa as far I know.
  8. I hope no one minds but I am having chaa now. Ahh relaxing. ..
  9. I am addicted to parshada as well . Chaa shouldn't do any harm unless of course taken in excess which counts same for amount of rotis we intake...
  10. I wonder anyone can work effectively at office with consumption of bhang or alcoholic drink. We have people here drinking many cups of tea and coffee a day and doing great!!
  11. Nothing wrong in caffeine. The reason bhang and alcohol is prohibited is that it alters your state of mind. Caffeine just boosts the brain cells which is good.
  12. What do you think yourself about parlok and what answers do you expect from us?
  13. I think before anyone tries to register, they should confirm they read and agree (tick box) to comply with the Forum rules which could be presented as a list. This way we need not to remind them these to the genuine new members as they are very simple and straightforward. But keeping it (forum rules) as a sticky thread in all the sections should do the same job.
  14. I agree with Jonny. Mehtab was the best moderator I have known. We want him back and soon.
  15. I don't remember having any conversation with you.
  16. If he can't follow the rules, he should leave the forum. No one is forcing him to stay here.
  17. Non-sikh wouldn't straight away question dasam bani. He/she would like to know more about sikhi first then Guru Granth Sahib bani etc. Btw Seikh claims to a knowledgeable sikh. Isn't he?
  18. He should keep his mouth shut or not use his keyboard for that matter.
  19. Questioning the authenticity of Dasam Bani is one of them. Anyone trying to offend or question should be warned and if still persists - straight ban should be the rightful award
  20. I have no means for disliking anyone. If you do not follow forum rules, you ought to be banned. Simples
  21. Good on you. You are exposing yourself. Nothing else. You have anti-Dasam views which are enough me to say you are govt troll
