i have a problem with castes. trust me, never ever break a leg. on a serious note, its a load of bull. castes still exist unfortunately. But with the right Sikhiaa we pass on to future generations, we can minimise and control this. I believe we will never eradicate it, but if we can, as a panth, minimise it and control it in society, then we will be a lot better off.

ok can we give it a rest please. i aint for sikh student camp, but its been given a final chance. lets see what happens after this week shall we? its only been day one and for some reason its only "newbies" to the forum who like to raise this issue. certain people have been banned from the camp who can be classed as neo-nihangs, 3h0 dont know what they on about when it comes to Sikhi and Malaysians live too far to call. I reckon SikhNet went under a while ago and it was wrong of Gurmustuk Singh to launch Mr Sikhnet. Such a shame. it killed the site. he could have launched a personal GSingh blog or something but to class himself "Mr Sikhnet" is just egotistical. i dont condone violence either against neone from either side. unfortunately, this camp has also been maligned WAY too much from day one after the "split" with another pop uk camp. but the anti-gurmat activities are not on either. especially the flirting. yes, it happens at every camp but Khalsa Camp and others do more to prevent it as much as possible. Sikh Student camp dont... or didnt. Can admin close and remove this thread please.

VGKK VGKF How can you listen to an akhand paath for 48 hours in a row? my meaning is, 1. is it "excusable" then not to have ishnaan during those 48 hours? 2. Would you not recite nitnem? 3. Would you not eat for 24 hours? Or is it optional? Would you have to leave the darbaar hall if you did want to eat? 4. Is it ok to sit and stand every so often to listen to an Akhand Paath? Help your blood circulation and keep you awake. 5. If you are listening to an akhand paath, and someone recites something wrong, is it not ok to stop them and tell them to repeat the tukk?

It annoys me when people nit pick at silly things. Just coz Bass Singh said "brilliant rehansbhai" doesnt mean he is saying others are worse or anything. Yeh sure, Rehansbhai speaks for itself as being amazing and good, but in the same way we say "Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee"... does Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee not speak for 'Him'self either as being dhan dhan? There is nothing wrong with expressing your praise for Maharajs creation and Maharaj's doing, which includes Rehansbhais. forgive my mistakes.

I would say if your life is of value or of use to someone else, and you are dying, then you should do whatever you can to stay alive. in battles, this theory also applies, when you are in war and you are fighting for justice and well-being of others, then you do whatever you can to stay alive... hope that helps

very good idea - u mods and admin should have the power to forcefully enter someones account to check out their PM's and anyone who has gotten abused via SikhSangat (through PM's especially) should not delete them and let one of the mods temporarily log into ure account and have a look, if its possible for the mods to do that anyway. another suggestion should be not to just roll this out to Singhnia but to any singhs as well, or any kids being bullied on here. i kno it goes on coz i used to bully weirdo 'Kumi' for being........... a weirdo! hehe just jokin!
