Read my first post, the calfs dont get the mothers milk, they are taken from the mother within a day.

Sat Sri Akal No offense, but you are bringing up useless points like leather cases, we can make cases our of anything, and even fake leather, we can make tablas out of another kind of material. By the way Hindus drink milk, they dont eat cow because they think it is holy, which has nothing to do with me. And the most popular point you had was Plants, veer ji, can you look me in the eye and say there is no difference between an animal and a plant. Plants dont suffer pain, they have a completly different nervious system, and the important thing they are not concious, they have no brains. lol. And when you say we are killing animals when we breathe, those are not animals, those are just tiny organisms, like bacteria, as complex as plants. This is how I see it, there is not much differnce between a dog and a pig, but why do people eat the pig. Because its ugly? One more thing, the mother cow is killed in the end, and the female calf takes it place. Remember I never ask my self if meat eating is right or wrong, I just know that the way they do it today has to be wrong, where animals are in cages their whole lives. I want more input from everyone. Please help me if i am taking the wrong path, and encourage me if i am on the right one. Sat Sri Akal

Sat Sri Akal Firstly I would like to clear one thing up, I am not telling you guys not to take animal products, i'm just telling you the facts. But when you guys attack my beliefs I will not stand there, I will try to explain my self. Secondly "there absolutely IS logic in saying that if a one is a civil engineer, then by building roads, one indrectly supports robbers, slaughterers, abusers, etc." Indirectly is the key word, if you buy animal products that is directly. If i think about it I could have persuaded OJ Simpson to kill his wife "indirectly", by causing an accident on the 91, which made him get angry and kill his wife. No logic. Lol funny, you had me going in the begenning, Singh Sahib according to your logic we all sinnners. So you are saying if I was a civil engineer and build a bridge, and because of me men were able to go home and abuse their wifes. Where is the logic in that? I know if i stop eating animals products it might not stop animal cruelity right away, but guess what we become one step closer. And if you buy the meat, you are resposible for the pain because you are supporting it. By the way if i owned any kind of food business I would let people decide for them selves.

I think you are getting at the plant argument, because plants are living organisms they should not be eaten. LOL. The only reason I dont eat any animal products is because the animals suffered pain, guess what the living organisms which you are reffering to dont feel any pain. They are not concious of their environment like we are.

I believe that our Guru, everysingle one of them, even the Guru Granth Sahib, are our messengers from GOD, but I dont belive they are GOD. I remember I was doing paat and i read Guru Gobind Singh Ji say, "He" is my True Guru the Imortal ONe, "He" is my True Guru ... I dont remember all of it.

Sat Sri Akal...... Meat Its taken me over a year but i finally got it right, i stopped eating animal product all together. I disregard the question is eating meat right or wrong. All I know is that keeping animals in cages their whole lives is wrong. Todays meat industry is horrible and I think even the meat eaters will agree. These animals, so called farm animals "cows chickens pigs" are being produced just to eat. From the time they enter this world to the time they leave it they endure pain and suffering. They spend most of their lives in cages and stalls. I think the meat "industry" was completly differnet during the Guru's times whent the animsals would roam free and humans would hunt them. I will not say if that is right or wrong but I know what they are doing now is wrong. EGGS People say that it is ok to eat eggs from the grocery store because they are not fertilized meaning they wont hatch, but by eating those eggs I am supporting the life style that these animals go through. MILK The thing that people freak out about is my not drinking milk products, the thing is Dairy Farm are not that pleasant, as they are on TV comericals. Cows produce milk for the same reason we do, for their babies, in the Dairy farm the calf are taken away from the cows within a day after birth, the female cows are setup for the same fate as their mothers, and male cows are sometimes shot at a day old, or they are setup to become viel meat. So we take the children away from the mother and steal her milk. Its funny that Hindus worship the cow but still drink milk. So they keep impregnating the cow and taking her young then when she cant make any more milk they send her to the slaugherhouse at abuot 5 years old. By the way cows live 25 years. I am really ashmed to be a human we are so horrible just because are so smart and strong we take advantage of everything, we put all the animals in cages to eat or cages for display, we take away their homes(forests) and then shoot them when they come near ours. Imagine a smarter creature stealing milk from our mothers and taking their children away. Or wearing human skin as their jacket. Just think about it, i know its a hard lifestyle, but it seem like the right one. Sat Sri Akal...

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Kee Fateh! I just finished talking to my grandma about God and Guru, and I realized something shocking. She and along with many other people believe that the Guru is GOD. I couldn't belive it. Many religions belive that their prophet or Guru is God, except of Sikhism. When people ask me who i worship I say God, because after reading about the Gurus and what they said, they taught us to worship GOD and GOD alone. We are too follow the Guru (Guru Granth Sahib) which helps us worship God. I think that it is soo soo beautiful and great the Guru Granth Sahib is all about GOD. Guru Nanak Dev Ji himself said "Akal Moorat, Ajuni Sabung" God is timeless and formless, "HE" is above births and deaths, THE ENLIGHTED ONE. So it is very clear the Gurus were not GOD. One more thing "Waheguru" some people thinks it means "Wow Guru", the Guru in "Waheguru" is refering to GOD, because Our Guru's Guru is God. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Kee Fateh!!!!!!!

I dont think there is anything in the market that really works, except for Hair Transplant Surgery. You know many people think that we are suppose to grow are hair, but we are not suppose to cut it, so its all good. Sat Sri Akal...

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ke Fateh I think he is doing some type of Yoga, in Yoga they believe that you can become higher spiritually in certian positions, but I think you can do Naam Jap with a broken back on a hospital bed. To me Yoga is just a physical exericise, and maybe he thinks they same. Or I might be wrong all together, maybe that is to help his back, and it has nothing to do with Yoga. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ke Fateh You know there are many disciplines of Sikhi other then cutting the hair, like worshipping the "formless", unborn GOD, and Christians worship Jesus. I have seen many people say they are half Hindu, and half Sikh. I just dont understand that, one belevies in hundreds of Gods, and one believes in just One God. I have seen many Christians today try to persuade other faiths to believe in Jesus but still practice their religions. Like Jews for Jesus, Muslims for Jesus. I mean its fine that they worship him, but if they asked me to accept Jesus as the "true Lord" I would have to disagree, i mean he might be a man of love and peace but he is not the "Son of God", and they mean that quite literally. After learning about Sikhism I realized that we are not suppose to worship the Guru Granth Sahib, we are to follow it. But our Guru has made clear that we are to worship only God with all our love. Most of Punjab is part of the Sikh religion, and I think about 40-50 percent of the Indian army is Sikh, that might have dropped since 1984. The MP of India is a Sikh. Ofcourse we can get Khalistan. And if we got it, there would only be so many positive things that would come out of it. What would be so bad about getting Khalistan?

I dont think that streching my back will help me find God, meditating "nothing" will not be bring me closer to God. But reading listening or repeating phrases of God will, thinking of HIM will, but trying to make my forhead touch my knee wont! I tried posting the staring post on Sikhnet and they rejected it.

Many newly converted Yogic Sikh are saying that yoga should be praticed as a Sikh, and i think that is 100% false. To a Sikh Yoga is just physical exercise. Yogis believe that yoga is a very spiritual process, but to the Sikhs its carries no spiritual significance becase it doesn't focus on God. By the way meditation is very different for a GurSikh; Hindus, Buddhists, and Yogis are to focus their mind on "nothing" during meditation, but Sikhs are to focus their mind on God and God alone during meditation. GOD is TRUE GREAT and FOREVER....

A while back I posted, "Do we really need Khalistan". Today i regret that, I realized we do need Khalistan. Before I thought that Khalistan was not need because teh Sikhs should live with other religions, but today i reaized the negative factor about that, Hindus are influencing our relgion. Khalistan would give the Sikhs a lot of recognization in the world. Its not that Sikhs shouldn't live with other religions, its just that we would have our roots in Khalistan. Has anyone ever thought about just changing the name of Punjab to Khalistan to begin with. God is always TRUE GREAT and FOREVER.........

I just think that we should not show one spec of anger or hostility towards these people because thats what they want, just let them believe what they want to, you know your TRUTH. Just your about your self and your own beliefs and lets others believe what ever they want.
