  5. Why death makes a person beautiful: How could death not make a person beautiful? It is at this time that a person is the most honest, with him/herself, with god, with the world. It is at this time they come to remember everything that they have done, lived in life. They are honest, this makes them beautiful. It is at this moment that they truly value the gift that their guru ji had given them. It is at this moment that they believe, if they had just a few more moments, or even just one more moment they could do something different. They understand their true worth and what they could have been worth, this makes them beautiful. It is on their death bed that they say Guru ji’s name with true heart. The love, understanding and feeling that they say Waheguru ji’s name at this time, they may never have said all night. They have love for their Guru, this makes them beautiful. It is at this moment, that one knows, even if they have not reached there Guru ji this time, at some time in the future Guru ji will give them a chance again. Even if it means going through a chaurasi, at least you have another chance at being with Guru ji again, a second chance, rather then being damned forever. The realization of how great our Guru ji is, that makes them beautiful. There are lots of things that make a person beautiful in death. Death is the truth to life, and the truth has to be beautiful, therefore a person going through the truth has to be beautiful. Bhul chuk maaf Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh
  6. Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh that was Sant Ishar Singh Ji Rare Wale, and there is an audio recording of it aswell. The little boy has grown up since then and lives in the states. Sikhi believes in spirits, as it is written in Gurbani. however, exactly what to believe and how much to believe i guess depends on each individual person Bhul Chuk Maaf Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh
  7. Happy Birthday Veerji! Many many happy returns of the day May Guru ji keep you in chardhi kala always! Waheguru ji ka khalsa, Waheguru ji ki fateh

  10. Wow Bhenji, just...... wow..........
  11. Veerji, milini was done with presents before, where the girls side gave the guys side gifts, but today from the last few weddings that i've seen so far, its just a chance for the families to get aquainted with the other side, for everyone to get a chance to see how the others are related, the fathers meet, uncles, brothers, and its a good chance to take pictures.... i've seen milani's happen without gifts and without money. only some sweets..... hope that helps bhul chuk maaf
  12. actually raju veerji, i've thought of the same question as to how this information got out to the public of the things that were done to him, and most likely there is a simple explanation for that. if neone can answer that would be good.... its good to question stuff to clear things up. veerji, the chandighar police have been ordered to bring Hawara Singh to court on two separate occasions and they have failed to do so thus far. we can speculate on why this is. As it was said earlier, old habits die hard and Hawara Singh was probably tortured as we saw in the picture that he needed help in getting down off of a vehicle. as for having access to a lawyer, if Hawara Singh is not given the oppurtunity of seeing a lawyer, the media would pick this up and it would become a big deal. maybe allowing him to speak, will make people second guess, as you have brought up the question, to the validity of what he is saying. why would the cops let him talk? maybe they think that many will not believe him..... theres a lot of things that could be a factor, the one thing we do know is that it has been done in the past, it has continued up to certain extent to the present, and there is a very large possibility that it is still happening.... bhul chuk maaf
  13. veerji, i wouldnt know about that particular picture but here is a website that you can look at: http://www.panthkhalsa.org/raj/raj_khalsa.php where the names of the victims and the method of torture that they recieved are written there. I dont see why such a debate has to be made over one picture..... but if it must then .... well.. there are hundreds of other pictures that can be looked at Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh

  16. Raju Veerji, What are you looking for clarification on? is it that one picture? or in general? Are u looking for clarification or proof of Sikhs that were tortured? If you could clarify this then maybe we can have a better conversation or debate on this topic. Thanks

  18. Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh, I was told a story this morning, i've never heard it before. it would be good to know if its true or not and if its true then who was this Bibi? they said during the attack on Harimandir Sahib, a bibi was sitting in one of the towers (the four towers around) by herself. for three hours she did not let neone enter that tower as she shot neone who tried... they could not figure out where this person was shooting from. like i said the bibi ji held them off for three hours and finally they figured out where the shooting was coming from but they could not shoot her, and they decided they would bomb that side or something to that extent..... has neone ever heard of this before? and if so would you have a name for this bibi ji? bhul chuk maaf Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh
