  1. Baba Prem Singh and or Baba Avtar Singh? Could be both innit? Give me an outline of what kind of stuff they would want covered or what would be suitable to cover? I know someone who might be interested.
  2. Bro these are all cults. They're all brainwashed. They're calling some fake Baba Vishnu Bhagwaan - that's insulting to Vishnu Ji lol.
  3. Ohi gal ho gai. They're not allowed to tell outsiders of what Naam they were given either. They're bound to secrecy. They talk about Gurbani but essentially they're just ripping it off and misquoting it. When it talks about Satguru, they say it's talking about their Baba. I can see why they didn't wanna take you, like you wouldn't even know there's a Satsang planned, almost as if it's some underground meeting. I gotta say though, their Dera is well nice lol!
  4. I'm pretty sure Chandi di Vaar and Bhagauti Astotar is part of the minimum. At least the former is anyway.
  5. Haha I like mixing up my boli at times. ਤੁਸਾਂ ਕਿਥਾਂ ਉਥਾਂ Don't worry, I am actually Doabi lol!
  6. Tusan nu compliment karda phenji!
  7. That is really sad. I wonder what actually goes on there? I mean I've been to their Dera in Punjab but not to an actual Satsang - there's so much security, they search you, have to hand over all your personal items. You're right they do become very chust in a negative way - typical of a cult, like they have inside info or something. They're very secretive. It's the brainwashing I reckon. I don't understand how anyone with half a buddhi would become one.
  8. There's so much idiocy everywhere isn't there?
  9. Sir, who would be suitable to approach in the Dal if someone wanted to make a documentary? What about Udasi?
  10. Well he certainly sounds like it. He's talking about Sikhs as if they're some alien race. It doesn't sound as if he's a Sikh addressing other Sikhs. Lastly it's not exactly hard to be gupt in the gupt section. Fair enough about the gangsta rap, I personally don't like it so I simply do not listen to it. Frankly it's not my business what they do as long as what they're doing isn't illegal or highly morally questionable. And before you say it, yes, some of them are questionable. No I don't propose that it is but from what I know, not all these rappers rap about gandh all the time. Also, I love 80s/90s Hip Hop.
  11. Please do tell us what the original Canadian culture is? Oh that's right, you pretty much wiped it out. Now your "culture" is under threat...bloody well serves you right. Ought to shove a maple tree up your arse.
  12. OP, there is not much you can really do about your brother. By becoming Radha Soami he will not gain anything, you know it, I know it, the Sangat knows it. I doubt anything you can say will make a difference as you said he hasn't listened to you so far. But it's odd because you later say he listens to other people. If this is the case, naturally it would follow that you get someone else to talk to him. Do Ardaas to Guru Sahib to stop your brother becoming involved with this cult.
  13. Cheers. Didn't know that. I was told it was as this is promoted by Mata Ji's asthaan in Punjab.
  14. It is, although it seems they get a bit fed up with him lol. I would assume it's something to do with showing devotion through austerities. Or something along those lines. The way the Aarti is sung and done is just...Vah! Vah!!!
  15. Exactly!! They worked in toto, pure harmony. Jai Niddar!
  16. Hmmm good question lol. I was only told breifly that Mata Ji posed for this pic, I will find out the details. Shanka na kar. I will PM you.
  17. I don't think Balbir would be receptive to a doco being made about him lol. Or on the other hand he might be very interested to promote his Jathedaari. Best to speak to @Singh123456777 about this though. That's a brilliant idea, although I don't know what peoples reactions would be on a documentary about Nirmaley due to bias, I can just imagine people screaming "Bahmanvaad" at the TV. Access to Taksal would be much easier but good luck trying to get a meeting with Baba Mohan Singh as you said. I know of another Chardi Kala Singh from Taksal who would be interested, last I head they were making Baba Thakur Singh's asthaan. For Udasi, according to Singh123456777 Baba Gurvinder Singh would be suitable.
  18. I agree 100%. While film adaptations are fine as well as animations, we need actual documentaries. Many folks are not into seeing a dramatised version, me being one of them. Plus not everyone does well with reading and trying to find the right sources or literature either. All of the above Singhs mentioned have some kind of VIP access, however, making a doco on the Dal Panth would be a complicated issue given the factionalism amongst them today. I don't remember the last time I saw a proper Sikh Documentary.
  19. I know many people who have this one but they all got it from India. I can give you the number if you want?
  20. This is offical portrait according to some sources:
  21. The comment at the beginning put me off. The one about 'Sikhism'.
