i was NOT sleeping....i can't help it if guru ji blesses me with samaadhi at times...and position doesn't matter...sometimes i go into samadhi lying down...not in my control....

every gurdwara is worth going to.. i went to gurdwara amrit parkash about a year ago...and thought it was amazing...it was pretty small...and we had one session there during a samagam...it waas hard to fit all the sangataan...but it was a really cool atmosphere....

that's ridiculous... since when has sikhi preached only to look for our interests.. it doesn't matter that sikhs don't believe in wearing burka...it's our duty to defend the RIGHT of someone else to wear it... and ssm...this is a matter of human RIGHTS....if they tell us we can't wear our turban.will it only then become a matter of human right??? from the amount of cyber khalsa i've seen, i'd think we'd have a fauj and a half going over to the netherlands....

i must have been a hopeless case...He probably figured this kid is NEVER gonna find me...so HE in his mercy blessed me by letting me take birth into a gursikh family. Gave me loving gursikh parents who surrounded us with nanak love, blessed us with sadh sangat, the sangat of amazing gurmukh piyaraaas, blessed me with a loving gursikh nani ji who taught me paaat while the other kids would be playing outside...i dunno...everything has just been a blessing...one after another...i can't say i deserve them...i dont know why i've been blessed....i can just be thankful...to guru nanak...and hope that with all the blessings guru ji has given me, that he can bless me to make wise use of those blessings and become a gursikh that they can smile down at.... dhan guru nanak, shukar hai... waheguru tera shukar hai....

sorry if my common sense is different than yours! and don't make assumptions about my respect level for my kakaars given to me by guru sahib...come in front of me and i'll teach you a little respect! none of you have provided a RATIONAL, REASONED argument for why keskis and kacheras should be separated...i really don't think there's any reason for rthat...and i don't feel theat i'm disrespecting my kakkaars in any way! and that's my common sense! how do you feel about tht?

good thing i went down to get my kacherras and keskis from the dryer... while i was down there folding (cuz mom always said...it's easier to fold fresh laundry out of the dryer than once they've been cooled down) some chinese girl was eyeing my kacherras...it was scary...i honestly think..that if i had turned my back for evven a second she woulda snatched one and made a run for it....but i was tyaar bar tyaar and defended my clean kacherras.... khalsa ji...we must be vigilant and strong and ever ready to put our lives on the line if need be to make sure our kacheraas dont get into the wrong hands...its a serious threat...i bet the GOI told her to steal my kacherras...

oh well... sucks to be me...no sachkhand this life time...

i usually wash my kacheraay in the shower...but then to make sure...i round up all of them at the end of the week...to put them in the machine ..and let good old Tide do it's job... i figure...me and my desi saban are no competitoin to the a product that scientists have carefully made and perfected over time... anyhow... whats up wit hthe No keskis in the washer rule?/???makes absolultely no sense to me... is there some rehitnama tha says we can't put kacheraay and keskis in the same load together??? in fact...i just washed my kacherray in the machine downstairs...and my keskis in separate loads (only cuz kachraay are white and keskis are navy blue)...but then i stuck them all together in the dryer...cuz i dind't wanna pay the extra $1.50....to have them in separate loads... which reminds me..i gotta go downstairs and get them...before someone takes all my kacherray and keskis....

peshing...retaking amrit ..is for only people who have done a bujjar kurehit... other stuff...i feel is making a mockery of AMRIT... amrit is not something that will be broken or weakend ...cuz you missed your amritvela...or didn't do nitnem one day... GURU ji isn't expecting you to be perfect all the time...yes...we should all strive to keep rehit perfectly...but honestly...it's a learning and Growing process...and with time..given you put effort and with gurparsad...you will be parakh in your rehit... also...i read in one post...i believe mehtab singh...that you'd want to take amrit again for tying your beard????? whats up with that...that is something that's personal preference....no REHIT is being BROKEN if you tie your beard for work...

congrats to ambrosia bhen... it was awesome seeing the sharda and faith you had on the day of...it was a great reminder to old timers like me who forget about that sharda and faith and get caught up in nitty gritty of things... hope you enjoyed the samagam and will continue to do sangat and enjoy more such blissful samagams...
