How old are you? There are all sorts of self help books, from books specifically for those who were abused as children (example: http://books.google.co.uk/books/about/Surviving_Childhood_Sexual_Abuse.html?id=M8-RzPQGQesC&redir_esc=y) to books helping you deal with depression, anxiety, build confidence, and so on, through cognitive behavioural therapy. It's really about what you're looking for, but I'm sure it'll be really helpful, I've just got some books from my university too. Make sure when you try to find a book, you go for something that's the best in its category.

Penji/ paaji, I would really recommend counselling, or failing that buy a self help book that helps people deal with things like this. I say that because it's important that you come to terms with what happened, talk about it, and then move on.

Thank you!

I don't think they'll be wearing swim suits. Probably t-shirts and leggings or something of the sort.

Oh my god!!! Swimming? In public? The nerve :O

Sikh Girls, Virginity And Sex Before Marriage.
Questioner replied to harsimran_singh's topic in GUPT FORUM
My God, some awfully non-Gurmat replies here. If you are a Singh, then you're to see women as your sisters. Then, when the time is right, you'll get married to a rehit following Singhni. If you don't follow Guru's instruction, then don't expect anything you want to go right for you. -
Thank you! I thought that by Mother, Bhagat ji was referring to God, and us as His children. Which is a confusing prospect. But what you guys are saying makes sense. Is there any katha or story behind this shabad?

I was looking at that shastar, seemed perfect but then I saw that the handle is made out of camel tooth.

VJKK VJKF I want to buy a small (6"-10") Pesh Kabz, not too expensive, but I can't find one anywhere. Not a leather case, or a camel tooth handle, or anything that an animal was killed for! Can anyone help?

I always feel emotional when I see Gursikh kids, they remind of the Sahibzade. Guess I have a special connection to them. Jaswant Singh Khalra and Bhagat Puran Singh.

Some good points, shouldn't just be dismissed as fanatical feminism by those who don't understand it. However, I agree with a couple of points made above. Some things you've written need clarification and others need to be put in a better way.

The Poison Called Dairy - We Put It In Our Body Everyday
Questioner replied to panthicunity's topic in WHAT'S HAPPENING?
I think Sikhs generally tend to ignore this issue. The extreme cruelty that animals have to face so that we can drink some milk now and again should not be ignored. -
Gay Sikh Twitter Account An Anti-Sikh Conspriacy Against Sikhism?
Questioner replied to genie's topic in POLITICS | LIFESTYLE
I don't believe that any person who slanders or thinks badly of another can be any further along the path of Sikhi than that person they are slandering. We are sat here arguing about how bad and wrong other people are, how messed up they are, how they can't be true Sikhs, while our own faults are hidden away. I don't know right from wrong in regards to this issue, but the way that Sikhs go about this issue, doesn't seem right to me.- 67 replies

It's probably irritation which can be easily fixed with a cream, its common in particular after periods. Your body is probably feeling bad because of your period. In regards to getting it irregularly, your doctor can sort you out with meds to make it regular. Best to go to the doctor to be sure about this all.

Sikhs Seen As 'hate Crime' Targets In Us
Questioner replied to JSinghnz's topic in WHAT'S HAPPENING?
God, let's ignore what happened to the Singh and instead blame him for being in the jazz club. It's not exactly the same as going to a nightclub. Granted I wouldn't go, but that's really besides the point, isn't it? We never get anywhere with anything. -
Two Singhs That Are Putting The Name Of Sikhism Down
Questioner replied to JuggyKaur's topic in WHAT'S HAPPENING?
A minimum age of 25/ 30 taking Amrit, I don't think so. Amrit is the first step... can't deprive the real passionate and dedicated youngsters from it. -
Man, just as a note, and I know ya'll are gonna hate me for this: I strongly dislike anyone using horrible, offensive language towards anyone else. It does not make you better than that person. It does not reflect the way Sikhs should carry themselves. Yes, we all get heated and annoyed- control it. Even someone doing wrong doesnt justify you wishing bad upon them- understand this! Take whatever steps you feel necessary, but before you say something remember that the girl has feelings too. So do her parents. Stop blaming the darn parents, most did the best that they could, gosh damn. I'm of the opinion that elders should be respected at least to an extent.

I experienced something a bit similar, only in that when I would try to do simran my brain would physically hurt and reject it. At the time, I had depression and black magic was being done on me, so it was the time I needed to do simran most but couldn't. Sukhmani Sahib definitely helps.
