  2. It will be good to have a Sikh MP. I heard the hindu guy for labour handed out ladoos after operation bluestar in 1984.
  3. All Day Vigil Wednedsay 6th June Outside Indian High Commission in London From 10am til 9pm Please join the Sangat to show your hurt at the events of June 1984. Nearest Tube: Temple Station or Holborn Station
  4. Waheguroooooooo It says "dress sexy and stylish". Is this what our Brothers want us to dress like at the local Gurdwara community centre.
  5. My aunty Ji was at the Gurdwara and she said in the morning when she got to the Gurdwara she saw lots of commotion. When she got nearer she saw a couple of Singhs with papers in their hands and about 10-15 comitee members shouting at them. The Singhs were not getting a word in at all. Then when she later was leaving the Gurdwara the Singhs were outside in the rain still handing out leaflets. She saw police and an ambulance and asked someone what had happend. She was told that a comitee member had hit a Singh. My aunty said the comitee have little get togethers in the hall and have meat and sharaab. When they run out of ingredients they then go to the Gurdwara langar hall and get it. They come back into the Gurdwara car park sharaabi when they then go home.
  6. Obviously no one has more details then. Sarbloh Bhaji did you not read my first post? I have NOT got more details than I have posted here. So what am I supposed to do? Ring Federation up and say 'I know a wedding is taking place in Slough and the Giani is from Gravesend, so sort it out'.
  7. BUT the giani is from gravesend not slough.
  8. Very nice suggestions. :TH: But I was hoping us no hopers who dont belong to a jathedandi or gurdwara might be able to help with information. Anybody related or know who the Giani could be?
  9. I am really sorry I dont have more details but here goes: There is a wedding taking place this Sunday where Guru Ji will be taken to a hall or hotel. The wedding is in Slough. I know the Giani is from Gravesend. Does anybody know who it could be? I am really sorry i havent got more details.
  10. My sister went to a mela and she felt really uncomfortable. She only talks of the pervy guys at this mela. I think there were alot of muslim youth and trouble was being made. She does not really know about Sikhi but I dont think she was left with a good impression.
  11. I know there was a polite request made to them in January this year from Singhs and Jathebandis. They did agree to stop selling senchiyan. I will speak to my brother and get him to see if he can speak to them again.
  12. So should we let any tom <admin-profanity filter activated> and harry come along and pretend to be our Guru? Where is your ankh pajji? Lets not be so negative. There is a bigger picture at play. All the policies of hindu extremists and terrorists are working and they support these characters. We must unite and recognise these threats and not pretend they will just go away. Please let us know how we can help from here in the UK?
  13. Big NO NO. I would not be comfortable going to something like this. Not really why I chose Sikhi.
  14. Sangat Ji, Firstly, we should have had that fight video removed from youtube, it is shameful that we havnt bothered to do this. Secondly, i have heard of these little kids in southall causing comotion unduly, why have local elders not sat them down and explained to them that they are giving Sikhi a bad name. Will it take some stupid irresponsible fool to make a video before we do anything.
  15. My Guru is capable of anything and it is not our fault that we sometimes cannot come to terms with it. Dont blame the brother for lacking faith. It is not his fault. My Guru is mahaan, he will do kirpa.
  16. Found this video sangat ji, http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=...53&hl=en-GB
  17. It is good to see a mixture of sangat at Leeds on sunday. Women, men, and elderly were present. Women travelled from London to help stop this beadbi. The hard work must continue. It was good to see how the sangat was so well behaved. All naujawan present must be comended, they never raised thier voice once. I am happy to see my brothers are so well matured and can accept victory with so much humility. Contrary to what we read on here and in papers the youth seem to understand they are representing the Khalsa, and can refrain from agression. If you believe what you read on here everytime we have an issue the 'naujawan' take out their kirpans and fight. What I saw with my own eyes impressed me very much. :TH:
  18. I agree. Maybe if there were not so many "papoos" around today, we would not have this problem.
