  1. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! On Sunday, Nov. 30, there is going to be a slideshow presentation entirely in english at Gurudwara Sahib Dasmesh Darbar (128th st. and 85th ave), Surrey BC, from 7-8 pm. The slideshow will be based on the Jeevan of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, and is being put on by the Gurmat Center, based in Abbotsford BC. Please make sure the Surrey (and surrounding area) Sangat attends. Thank You. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  2. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! I was thinking about 'debating' with the Christian girl in my class a little more, but i thought about it, and realized that would be a HUGE mistake...the reason why?... This girl really loves her religion with all her heart. She has alot of love for Jesus Christ and is a very nice person. Basically she is a very devoted Christian. Now...if i start to argue with her, telling her she's wrong etc...she might start doubting her Religion, and maybe even stop practicing it (it could happen). I don't think she will convert to Sikhism, and the way i see it...she is a God-loving, sincere person, and has alot of faith...i don't want to do anything to change that...not even the slightest bit. I think we should preach Sikhism, but if comes to a point that you know someone is dedicated to their views and won't change them..then let them be...because we don't want to be responsible for someone losing faith in Religion all together. Khalsa Soulja...u gotta take it easy man. We don't need to slander other Religions, because it just makes us look like egotistical, fantatics, who hate all other Religions...there are some things that should just be kept to one's self...no hard feelings bro... 3. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! There are people out there who think that it is not possible that Baba Deep Singh Ji fought with his head cut off is. I believe that this definetly DID happen. I've heard that there are written accounts of Muslims saying they saw it with their own eyes. Baba Deep Singh Ji had alot of power...both spiritual and physical, why could he not have done this? Some people say these are ridhi sidhis, but i don't think so. It was a matter of the Kaum's Chardi Kala. I have also heard on Katha tapes that when Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji recited the whole Guru Granth Sahib Ji, and Bhai Mani Singh Ji was writing the Gurbani...(Guru Ji would recite the Gurbani in the daytime, and explain the deep meanings in the evening)...well....at the time of Bhog, when the recitation was almost complete, that Bhai Mani Singh Ji and Baba Deep Singh Ji began to levitate in the air and began rising upwards (as if going to Sach Khand). At this point Guru Gobind Singh Ji grabbed them and brought them back down to earth, telling them that there are alot of responsibilities that they must fulfill before leaving earth. (NOTE: the following Sakhis are according to Katha tapes i have heard: i don't know the exact accuracy of them) I think that these 'miracles' did happen, but they were not the kind of 'miracles' that bring ego into a person, like ridhi sidhis do. Ridhis and Sidhis are like 'toys' that distract a person from His/Her goal: merging with God. They make people get attached to them, and also create Haumay. These are just some of my views, i may be totally wrong...and ask for your forgivene ss. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  4. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! In my original post i was going to write that the views of this woman are in no way the views of Christians as a whole. However, i forgot to include that. It would unfair to Christians for me to not say that...so...THESE ARE THE VIEWS OF ONE CHRISTIAN WOMAN, NOT CHRISTIANS AS A WHOLE...thanks for the reminder ms514. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  5. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! I was having a discussion with a Christian girl in my class about what happens after death. I told her about what Guru Ji says (churasee lakh joon, etc)...but she said that Christians do not believe in re-incarnation and that before this life we all lived in a 'spirit world'...the thing that confuses me is this: i know 100% for sure that whatever Guru Ji has told us is the Truth, but does that mean that all of the billions of Christians, Muslims etc..are wrong? i brought up the points as to why some are born handicapped, or some people in 3rd world countries starve their whole lives, or some babies die when they are very young...what happens to them?...her response was that we have to make the best of what we got...and that everyone can make it to God, if they be the best they can, with what they have. She also said that if a baby dies, or a handicapped person, they automatically go to heaven. All of this does not add up to me, because why would God 'bless' some with 'good' lives, and make others suffer? There is definitely Karma in the universe. Why would one person have to pray alot, avoid sins all their lives, and live a disciplined lifestyle to make it to heaven, and a little baby who dies right after birth, does not do anything, and goes to Heaven? ... Again my question is this: are all the other religions wrong?...misled?...why are there so many differences in religious beliefs, since there is only One God anyway? i would love to hear your views on this matter. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  6. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! From what i've heard, bhung was used by wounded soldiers, to take away the pain while Singhs tried to fix him up (or if he was dying slowly)...i think it slowly started to get used for recreation amongst Nihang Singhs. Any intoxicant should be avoided completely, except for the intoxication of Naam. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  7. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! This guy needs to be exposed, and not be allowed to do any Granthi services. It's low moorakhs like this, who only do Granthi services to make a few dollars (pounds), that give Khalsa a bad rep. Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhinderwale said in his speeches that if anyone brings to him a person who has taken Amrit, and drinks liquor, he will personally soak him with kerosne and burn him alive. This guy must be exposed, and barred from any Granth "Seva" Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  8. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! One more thing...suppose alot of people without taking Amrit began wearing Kirpans around... I just hope that never happens because, if someone mis-uses it, its going to effect the right of all AMRITDHARIS to wear Kirpans in public. This is a serious issue, some kid uses it inappropriately, and the government begins putting bans on it. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  9. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Sarbloh Soulja: so what you are saying is that wearing a Kirpan is Rehat, and we should all wear them? Well the 1st rehat is to take Amrit, so why don't we all do that 1st? Don't start complaing to me, when you see 'punjabi' kids walking around wearing Kirpans, no Rehat, drinking, smoking, picking fights, and saying "well, it IS Rehat, at least we are doing something". Come on guys....some things are Sacred, and a Kirpan is one of those things...its not for anyone...it deserves respect, and a lifestyle of Sikhi Rehat to go with it. I hope that one of these days, it doesn't become like the Kara...people wear it and think they are doing their part. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  10. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! I don't really understand the thing about wearing a Kirpan if you keep the other 4 Kakkars. In Rehatnamas in says: dhharehi kaes paahul binaa bhaekhee moorraa sikh || maeraa dharasan naahi this paapee thiaagae bhikh ||5|| (Those who keep their hair but do not get initiated are faithless sinners. They will never receive my blessing) How can you go on putting on Kakkars, without taking Amrit? It makes no sense. Thats like me putting on a white coat, carrying a stethoscope, and walking around looking like a doctor. I can decieve people all i want, but inside i know i am not a doctor. This is disrespect to the Guru. Not following his Hukam, but picking and choosing what you want to do. Either take Amrit and become Khalsa, or stop the disrespect of Khalsa Roop. Like i said....THE KIRPAN IS NOT THAT CHEAP....YOU MUST GIVE YOUR HEAD FOR IT!!!!!! Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh

  12. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! A KIRPAN IS NOT THAT CHEAP!!!! You must give your HEAD for it!!! I haven't seen any non-Amritdhari Sikhs wear a Kirpan, but if i did, i would definitely approach them and tell them not to wear it. It's IMPOSTERS like this, who give Khalsa a bad rep. You appear to be Amritdhari, but are fooling people. According to the law, Amritdhari Sikhs can wear Kirpans. Tommorow, any murderer, gang-banger, criminal could put on a Kirpan and say he is wearing it for Religious reasons. We can't say to him not to wear it due to the fact that he is not Amritdhari, beacause OUR OWN people are wearing Kirpans, without taking Amrit.... In conclusion....wearing a Kirpan without taking Amrit is pure manmat. Why not just give your head to the Guru, instead of decieving people into thinking you did? It totally cheapens the SACRED FORM OF KHALSA. If you want to wear it so bad...why not just take Amrit? Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  13. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! These two should be put to death, so that there REAL punishment can begin. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  14. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! i like straight up freestyle fighting with just Sotis. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  15. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! I don't understand one thing. I was in Punjab this year, and saw some Nihang Singhs with HUGE Dumallas. But isn't this risky? What if something happened, and you have to pull out out your Sri Sahib and fight, for yourself, or for someone else. If your wearing a Dumalla that big, you can't really move around very well. I think it will leave you vulnerable to attack, and helpless to protect someone. I know they don't wear them all the time, but still, something can go down ANYTIME, and we must be ready to always fight. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  16. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Hey, i listened to some of your songs...first of all, you should not be mixing the Mool Mantar into the chorus of a rap song, and second of all, you made many mistakes while reciting the Gurbani (in the song, message to the Goras) you missed some words, and you pronounced --"Akal Moorath" so wrong that it totally changes the meaning of the Word. (i don't even wanna repeat what you said: just a very bad mistake)..there were also other mistakes in pronounciation....ex--its Gurparsad , NOT Gurparshad....i know u guys didn't do it on purpose but just be careful, and avoid putting Gurbani into your songs....thanks... TO THE SANGAT---DON'T LISTEN TO ANYTHING BUT GURBANI...BECAUSE RAP MUSIC MAKES PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE SOMETHING THAT THEY REALLY AREN'T, AND PUTS BAD THOUGHTS IN PEOPLE'S HEADS ( I DON'T MEAN THIS TO UNDERGROUND SIKHI--JUST RAP MUSIC IN GENERAL) Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  17. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Me playing Gatka at Nagar Kirtan in Abbotsford, BC, Canada. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  18. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! How exactly do you post pics? i can't get it to work. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  19. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! The 2nd Jaikara you listed is usually always used by Nihung Singhs. The first one is used in Gurdwaras etc....but my question.....is it Jo Bolay So Nihal, or just Bolay So Nihal? Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!

  21. WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA, WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH Surrey has been blessed by Guru Ji on the opening of this new school. We should all take full advantage of this! i heard the classes are in the evenings, and you can choose your days to fit your schedule. I know University is important , but i'm sure we can all adjust our schedules to make it there twice a week, for at least one hour. Sikhi is our 'real' job. It should always come first, and everything else will just fall into place. The academy is located on 128th St. and 86th ave, on the third floor of a 3 story building. There is a sign there. I know the person who started this school, and he is a very Chardi Kala Singh, he has a great vision of getting young Canadian born Sikhs to go around the world and do Katha in english, all backed up by Gurbani. Take advantage, don't miss out (i'm taking 9 classes at University, and i'm going to attend, it's all about time management.) Make sure you all come. WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA. WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH
