the sikh panth is not ready for a sikh bank, we can't even look after our own people, let alone manage their money. noble idea, however I feel that we are not ready for it. one member here said we have a problem parting with money, of course we do, who do we trust? when you have so many people misusing funds in gurdwaras, how do you expect people do trust them with their money in a bank? I can just see the headlines "sikh bank needs your help, give your dasvand and reap the guru's happiness" you can setup the whole charter, etc, however I feel as a panth, we need to start working on the concept of "the sikh panth". some people may disagree, which is understandable.

with all due respect, some questions please. How do you know Siri Sat Guru Arjan Dev Ji did chaur sahib over Aad Granth Sahib? Are there any historical references which can validate what you are saying? Also, wasn't Guru Gaddi given to Aad Granth Sahib Ji? How is Dasam Granth = Sri Sat Guru Gobind Singh Ji? Isn't Siri Sat Guru Granth Sahib JI the current Guru of the Sikhs? Are you not missing the third granth, Siri Sarbloh Granth Sahib Ji?

I have Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji aswell and the only issue is the English translation is wrong, not much attention has been paid to the english translation. I have emailed the people behind the scenes many times, but...hey I guess I am not popular enough or not showing off with my money enough for them to notice me. :blink2: I only follow Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. I know people get all sensitive about Dasam Granth, even what type of Guru you follow. I am neutral and take no sides, however I do have the right to ask questions, I am not a blind follower. :nono: Christianity was hijacked by the romans. Please please read their history, even the bible has been manipulated. This is a very bad example. Infact most of the religions in the world have been hijacked by corrupt individuals who keep the truth within the select few and emotionally blackmail the public who have no clue. Example of this can been seen across the board, if you take the time to research their history. The last faith in my opinion, which is fighting for its life is Sikhi. I have read Sri Dasam Granth (all of it), although its the English translation, so I admit, its dilluted. Can you provide links where I can read the Sau Sakhi and Karninama? Who wrote these?

Who said anything about world domination, jihad or mass conversions? Although you did say "Khalsa Raj will come when the world embraces Sikhi". I know what the dohra in the ardas means, although I believe its not to be taken literally as in its not about this physical world. from talking to a few buddhists in my life and to a few when I visited Sri Lanka (where the national religion is buddhism), they don't believe in God. They only believe in Nirvana, a state of enlightenment. I read somewhere ages ago that buddhism was started to make the rakshas stop doing havan to vishnu or ishwar. basically, when the evil ones found out that the demi-gods get their power from vishnu, so they started to pray too and the demi-gods went to vishnu and pleaded and said if they, the evil ones come to heaven, they will destroy it...and this buddhism was started. Why don't you just contact the "Kesri Kehar" people who got together over 100,000 signatures so that a discussion will take place in parliment (one session has already been held), regarding the death penalty in India along with bhai balwant singh rajoana case. I am sure they are doing something about it, try emailing them?
