Lol yeh, Shaheed Jathedar Bhai Sukhdev Singh Jee Babbar got inspiration from the Babbar Akali Lehar of the 1920's and Jathedar Kishan Singh Jee Gargajj after reading the book "Babbar de Vithaya, Golee Chaldee Rahe". Jathedar Jee then formed an organised guerrilla fighting force i.e. the Babbar Khalsa Jathebandhi in order to protect the elder Singhs from the Akhand Keertani Jatha from police harassment. After coming into contact with a few Singhs in Punjab that were very close to the Singhs from the freedom struggle Jatha of the 1920's, they have inspired and asked Daas with some others to dedicate a website to the Soorme Jodhe of the Babbar Akali Lehar. Yes, I agree, The Sikh Federation (UK) was the main inspiration behind this event and it has given hope to all the Singhs in jails! I think Bhai Amrik Singh Jee Gill, Bhai Dabinderjit Singh Jee...etc and ALL the other members, the other organisers including around the world need to be congradulated on the success of this event and the past events. The struggle is not over (hopefully the one for Bhai Davinderpal Singh Bhuller is), and I KNOW the Federation will always continue to peacefully fight for our just rights! Firstly, I need some DETAILED information on the Babbar Akali Lehar and the Babbars that were in the Jatha that can be found online or in which books? Secondly, I need high quality (if possible) pictures or paintings of the Babbars involved in the movement. Shaheeds such as Jathedar Kishan Singh Gargajj, Babbar Dhanna Singh Behbalpuri, Babbar Karam Singh Daulatpur...etc etc.....pictures of the time seem very hard to obtain..... Yeh thats true, depends on where you live as Delhi may infact be closer to you, therefore getting tickets there will be better. Also yes, if you do not have much time and will not be able to make time to have Darshan of the Gurdware in Delhi area another day, then you can have Darshan when you get there or on way back, but if you do have more time, then it's very nice coming another day SOLELY for the intention of having Darshan of the beautiful historical Gurdware. Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Phateh!!! If your going to Punjab, try to get a flight to Amritsar, it is like a hundred times more convenient and better than Delhi. The Air Turkmenistan flight stops for about an hour or two in Ashkabad, but its better waiting there, than 7 hours journey from Delhi. The Air Uzbekistan is the same but stops in Tashkent instead. The flights themselves are not very good, but they are still descent, even first class is not very good either, but end of the day they are reliable and will get you to Amritsar and save you the 7 hours tiring journey from Delhi. If you live closer to Birmingham Airport than Heathrow Airport London, then it is also a bonus as they go from Birmingham quite regularly. The new direct flight from Birmingham or Heathrow by Air India, direct to Amritsar is very good, but is always fully booked and the prices even for economy are at the moment extremely high and a rip-off! "Khalsa Fauj" Jee, I think wherever you got the news Sant Baba Ranjit Singh Jee (Dhadrian Wale) was going to come again so soon was incorrect. It's just about barely been 6-7months since they came last time, so "what happened" is that Veer Jee, you have got incorrect information and they ARE going to come again, but during the summer most likely, therefore leaving one years gap. Also I don't think there's nothing to run from or hide from any media or any "exposure" ,also the fact that the "media" you talk about Paaji is in fact just two affiliated newspapers i.e. 'Sanjh Savera' and 'Chardi Kala', both managements who are in fact known for how much so called "Sikhi" they have in them as Veer Harinder Singh Jee has already explained. But yes Paaji, thier tour in 2006 to UK is now being organised and there's ABSOLUTELY NO reason why they did not come again in less than 6 months that has to do with any type of running away or exposure...etc etc, but more to do with common sense of travelling so much in such short periods of time as you can obviously understand lol. If what he says IS true, then it is very sad, but the thing is there is no verification whether what Rulda says is true or not. For all we know, the allegations could have been made purposely to just STIR and cause FURTHER DIVIDE in the Sikh Quam! The Rashtriya Sikh Sangat has been created to infiltrate and divide the Panth and they will do anything in their power to do so, and I see what you are saying that it is not hard to infiltrate the Quam, but I still believe seeing a sewadar of the Panth who has been at the forefront of Panthic issues for MANY years as a traitor and RSS agent is a little too early at this point in time with such little information..... .....Only time will tell what is going on behind the scenes.....
