Tohra seeks media cooperation Tribune News Service Chandigarh, February 9 SGPC President G.S. Tohra today sought cooperation from the media in connection with the celebration of three big events of the Sikh history this year. In a letter addressed to the Editors of various newspapers, Mr Tohra has sought wide coverage to the programmes and activities planned on these holy occasions. The fifth birth centenary of Guru Angad Dev would be celebrated on April 18. The fourth centenary of the installation of Guru Granth Sahib would be celebrated on September 1. The third tercentenary of the martyrdom of four “sahibzadas” would be observed from December 21 to 26. Mr Gurdarshan Singh Bahia, Publicity Officer of Centenaries, said today that a subcommittee had been set up to chalk out programmes for the celebrations. The Committee’s sub office had been set up at house No. 30, Sector- 5A, here with e-mail address: <centenaries2004@hotmail,com>.
