  1. Here is another transcript of Trump on muslims after the Orlando shootings: http://time.com/4367120/orlando-shooting-donald-trump-transcript/
  2. Here is a transcript of the speech Trump made on immigration: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-elections/donald-trump-immigration-speech-full-transcript-read-arizona-us-election-2016-a7219341.html I don't know if this makes him sound like Hitler or Nazi. Let's try to be proper Sikhs, control our emotions and 5 vices, be Sant-Sipahi 's in the true sense where we look at the full facts in a holistic rational manner, not get duped by the MSM with their sound-bites before we make judgements.
  3. Colorado was the first state to legalise it and they have made a lot of money out of the tax revenue. I suspect that the other states like to do the same. My understanding is that California has a lot of debts (as a state it is virtually bankrupt).
  4. Something definitely needs to be done with the drug trafficking. Finished watching Narcos about Pablo Escobar and Colombian drugs cartels in the 80's and 90's. You do not hear much about Colombia these days but you hear a lot about the Mexican cartels. It definitely seems to have shifted up north. Juarez a town in Mexico which is like 10 minutes from the U.S. border is one of the violent places in the world, yet 10 minutes away you have El Paso in Texas which is apparently one of the safest places in the U.S. The irony is that many of the Mexican drug Lords have homes in El Paso . What is also apparent in the news is that California, Nevada and Masachussetts have legalised Marijuana , wonder if this will have any impact on the drug trafficking.
  5. Elections are like popularity contests. The fact that the media projects a certain viewpoint, the reality is very different. For all the protestations from women about sexist, mysogynst men. The reality is biology, a lot of women like this type and prefer him to the feminist. Human behaviour is an amazing thing, people say one thing and do another. It's like the old saying, "Actions speak louder than words"
  6. For all the hate about Mexicans and building a wall, Trump got a fair proportion of the hispanic vote. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/amp.usatoday.com/story/93540772/ My opinion is that like many ethnic groups, the older established types do not like their freshie counterparts. I reckon that many 2nd/3rd generation Hispanics were quite pleased when Trump made his views known about the wall because they do not want where they live become the hell hole that Mexico has become.
  7. For all the misogyny , Trump got a higher proportion of the woman vote (at least with white women) I think that many women like the arrogant, cocky type of men no matter how many protestations they make: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/m.mic.com/articles/amp/158995/more-white-women-voted-for-donald-trump-than-for-hillary-clinton
  8. People make a lot of assumptions about Trump via the sound bites of the media who obviously did not want him in power. Granted that he is an a**hole, but this is politics.
  9. One of the things that I have observed that these molly-coddle sons happen where they are the only son in a family full of women. More particularly if they are the youngest in the family. These type of sons are the types wrapped in cotton wool more than anyone else. For all the claims of Sikhs being "patriarchal " , women do rule the roost. Unfortunately, we Sikh men have been conditioned to be that way from a young age. For all the claims that a girl goes from the father to the husband, the reality is that the boy goes from the control of his mother to his wife.
  10. There is a wider mainstream society problem and Sikhs are not immune to these problems. You cannot deal with the feral female nature until the wider issues are tackled. When men are increasingly feminised like what is happening in western society, then they will be attacked by more masculine cultures. The indifference you may see from Sikh men is the pragmatic part of male nature. We tend to look at things rationally and do a cost/benefit analysis. Is the juice worth the squeeze? You won't get the Sikh community to be cohesive unit like you wish unless there is no other alternative and it is deemed absolutely necessary.
  11. The problem is not being a pu55ie or being tough. Plenty of abusive Pakistanis were beaten up to save izzat of our Sikh sisters only for them to run back to these guys. It makes the effort and sacrifice of our chivalrous brothers go in vain and completely futile. It then begs the question whether it is really worth saving these girls. What happens in a lot of cases is that it makes our brothers indifferent. We Sikhs have a habit of white knighting and being saviours for the "weak" and "defenceless" only to be betrayed by these same people.
  12. I hope your boys white knighting will be well appreciated by the girl otherwise they will realise that girl will go back to the abusive boyfriend. I have known of plenty of boys at college back in the 1990's who used to protect their Sikh sisters from their abusive -ness of the muslim boyfriends only to get their heads kicked in and then find the Sikh girls go back to these boyfriends.
  13. This is a major concern for our people. I've always thought that females brought up in the west (i.e. mothers/aunties) would be in the best position to understand and guide younger daughters. It's people like you that have to shed light on this matter to the wider panth. When blokes do it, we get accused of all manner of ish like being patriarchal or misogynistic etc. etc. Dally The problem you have is that the older generations of women born in the UK got up to the same shenanigans that the younger generation have got up to back in the 80's and 90's . So you have 2 things 1. The older generation of UK born girls are in no position to dictate to the younger generation of UK born girls because it makes them look hypocritical . 2. The older generation of UK born girls tacitly support the younger generation doing these things because it is feeds into entitlement/fempowerment a lot of women feel they have without the responsibility that comes with it.
  14. The trick with parenting, particularly with teenage kids is giving the kids boundaries but at the same time give them a degree of freedom, particularly to make their own mistakes. It's a balance. If you are too strict, they will rebel. If you give them too much freedom they will walk all over you. If you molly coddle them too much, they cannot develop the skills to be independent in the big wide world. As a parent I think it is more important to demonstrate than explicate.
  15. It would help if Bandi Chor Diwas was celebrated on the actual day that Guru Hargobind jee left the prison rather than follow the Hindu lunar cycle of where on one year it is it's in October and the next year it's in November.
  16. Just wondering does this give an example of going to the 84 lakh joon before we reach our final form as humans until we break the cycle and achieve mukti? Going through 84 lakh joon in linear time line would take millions of years.
  17. If you want live a simpler life by all means do so. But don't think for minute that people out there are not money chasers. You will need to have a lot of street smarts out there otherwise you will get eaten alive.
  18. Are the aliens from Area 51 taking part as well?
  19. He married some girl in California sometime last year. He's spending a lot of time in the U.S. He's probably looking to get a green card. Also, during new years eve, he was tweeting and drinking quite heavily whilst his newly wed wife was holidaying in Mexico. I imagine he is being cuckolded.
  20. Women are going to realise you cannot have it all. Women are being fooled by the elites as they are far more easier to manipulate to go out to work to create a larger tax base. In the old days, a man with children and wife who did not work could afford to buy home. A working couple cannot even afford a house. Women are having work like dogs like men have had to and in larger society are beginning to suffer from the same problems men have had to with stress and now the life expectancy between men and women is narrowing. People moan about patriarchy this and misogyny that but the further and further we go to remove the structures of traditional society, as history repeats itself we are going to discover why thins were the way they were in the first place.
  21. The educated Sikh women can also extract more from abusive high status Sikh male husband in alimony and child support payments.
