  1. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Sikhi does not need people like this 'businessman'. This poor fool knows little about Christian philosophy (or Sikhi) and has been paraded like a circus animal (to recruit others). Frankly we are surprised he is still keeping his Sikh appearance. If he wants to be a Christian it is his choice but do not masquerade as a Sikh. Sikhs have a distinct and special appearance, not to be confused with this (self-confessed) alcohol consuming person who did not base his choice on facts and research. Instead, he was desperate. “Rehat Pyari Mujh Ko Sikh Pyara Nahi” The code of conduct is more lovely than the Sikh; “Rehni Rahe Soi Sikh Mera, O Thakur Me Uska Chera” One who is in discipline is my Sikh, then he’s my Master and I his disciple “Rehat Bina Nahi Sikh Akhawe Rehat Bina Dar Chotan Khawe” Without discipline none shall call you Sikh, Without Discipline one keeps on getting hurt; “Rehat Bina Sukh Kabhoon Naa Lahe, Taan Te Rehat Su Drid Kar Rahe” Without discipline we cannot be in peace, devoid of discipline the Lord makes you poor. ~ Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji
  2. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Try this (there is sound as well) - http://www.discoversikhism.com/punjabi/punjabi_gurmukhi.html Anyone's feedback on the Learn Punjabi/ Gurmukhi pages, to make improvements for all, would be appreactiated.
  3. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Where did this information come from?
  4. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Paneer Bhaji, your posts are very valid and insightful. Humble request, please can you (or anyone else) put all your thoughts (together) in an article about the 'delusions of radhasoami's' and we will publish on our site. Historically, there would have been no radhasoami's without Sikhi. Radhasoami's want to be Sikhs (not the other way around). Many hindu's turn into radhasoami's, learn the truth and then embrace Sikhi. Seperately, we are investigating claims that radhasoami's were a British invention with a long term plan to turn Indians into Christians. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and manmukh radhasoami's have unintentionally ended up strengthening Sikhi. They should try listening to the following and accept why Waheguru is steering them in this direction...
  5. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Waljinder Bhaji, We fully understand the British are distancing themselves from Operation Blue Star. However, the fact remains that they sent a military adviser to provide advice or conspiracy (conspiracy with intent to commit acts of aggression, murder and genocide is as bad as the crime itself regardless of whether the British thought the advice was used or not) against Sikh civilians. This should justify further investigation into the criminal responsibility of senior individuals within the UK military and government.
  6. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh The statement today means the British government agreed that a military adviser provided 'advice' (conspiracy to commit acts of aggression, murder and genocide) against civilians like our holy leader, Baba Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, women, children, the Sikh nation and our most sacred of places - Sri Harmandir Sahib. This is an appalling travesty of justice, a gross dereliction of duty and a total failure of human rights. All possible legal actions should be examined including using The International Criminal Court Act 2001 (c.17) which is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. The Act incorporates into English law and Northern Ireland law the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. The principal aims of the Act are to incorporate into domestic law the offences contained in the Rome Statute (genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity). The evidence to date justifies further investigation into the criminal responsibility of senior individuals within the UK military and government. The British knew or should have known that under their control they were committing or about to commit war crimes. And civilian superiors knew or consciously disregarded information at their disposal, which clearly indicated that the UK were committing or about to commit war crimes in Amritsar. As osingh Bhaji has said, we do not need to react with anger. However, we can act within the framework of the law and take appropriate action to seek justice.
  7. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Bhaji, We have looked into the International Criminal Court to seek justice for Sikhs. The court theoretically has universal jurisdiction, but can only prosecute if the state, where the crimes were committed or the state of the nationality of the accused, are party to the Rome Statute. The International Criminal Court was created by the Rome Statute which came into force on 1 July 2002. Unfortunately, India has neither signed nor ratified or acceded to the Rome Statute. This link explains some of the reasons - http://www.ielrc.org/content/a0505.pdf The International Criminal Court has no police force of its own to track down and arrest suspects. Instead, it must rely on national police services to make arrests and seek their transfer to The Hague. So, the chances are zero. India and the United States signed a pact under which they agreed not to send each other's nationals to a world tribunal. The court has been ratified by 121 countries - but not by the US, China, Russia and others, so the International Criminal Court is largely ineffective but makes good propaganda with fallen dictators. Unfortunately, the UN is equally ineffective. More recent news - Statement on military support for the events surrounding the Sri Harmandir Sahib massacre will be made in the House of Commons at approx. 1230 tomorrow.
  8. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Sangat Ji, do you know where the Singh's that were released are? When we do ardas next time, to ask for something from Waheguru, we should spare a moment to think about what are we doing for Waheguru's Khalsa. Was the hunger strike for nothing? SOPW and others are continuing their good work, let us not forget that many, many Singh's need our help.
  9. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Rahul should understand that 'some Sikhs were probably involved in Indira Gandhi's death' (when the rule of law broke down and Indira used the Indian army for her own means, for hatred, revenge and genocide against Sikhs). Unfortunately, the Sikhs probably involved... were actually hanged. Whereas, the Congress members probably involved in genocide were rewarded financially and promoted in senior government positions. How many Congressmen does Rahul think should be hanged for causing thousands of Sikh atrocities and deaths?
  10. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh An update, broadcast today (24th January 2014) on Sikh channel. The official states 'this is not a review into Operation Bluestar or the actions of the Indian government. It is about what role the UK might have played...'.
  11. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh In general, there appears to be a lot of confusion regarding Punjabi and Gurmukhi. People make the assumption that there is a language called Punjabi (what we use everyday) and there is the language called Gurmukhi - the language used to write the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. So are there two languages?? Did the Guru’s use different language called Gurmukhi?? The answer is No. It would be more accurate to say one speak's Punjabi and read's or write's Gurmukhi. - See more at: http://www.discoversikhism.com/punjabi/punjabi_gurmukhi.html There are a number of Sikh books/ articles in Gurmukhi here - http://www.discoversikhism.com/sikh_library/gurmukhi.html and in English here - http://www.discoversikhism.com/sikh_library/english.html The library section is new. There are thousands more books/ articles that will be released at regular intervals in due course. (Also have books/ articles in a number of European languages)
  12. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Yes Bhaji, it is disgusting. It is also very revealing. Margaret Thatcher made a biased statement and neglected to mention the attack on Sri Harmandir Sahib in June 1984 when Indira Gandhi's army attacked, murdered and committed genocide of Sikhs, including women and children, and all but destroyed the Golden Temple complex. After the above statement, during the following 3 days in Dehli, thousands of Sikhs were murdered in a holocaust. Margaret Thatcher said nothing. Why could Margaret Thatcher never support Sikhs? It is plain to see with the statement she made. It is also clear evidence that Margaret Thatcher regarded the most vile person/ family responsible for Sikh genocide as 'a friend of this country.' Margaret Thatcher called Indira a 'democratic leader'. On 12 June 1975 the High Court of Allahabad declared Indira Gandhi's election to the Lok Sabha 'void' on grounds of electoral malpractice. The court thus ordered her to be removed from her seat in Parliament and banned from running in elections for six years. Gandhi responded by ordering the arrest of most of the opposition and by declaring a state of emergency, giving her dictatorial powers. Civil liberties and democracy were suspended during the Emergency. Within a few months, the president's rule was imposed on the two opposition party ruled states of Gujarat and Tamil Nadu thereby bringing the entire country under direct Central rule or by governments led by the ruling Congress party. Police were granted powers to impose curfews and indefinitely detain citizens and all publications were subjected to substantial censorship by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Finally, impending legislative assembly elections were indefinitely postponed, with all opposition-controlled state governments being removed by virtue of the constitutional provision allowing for a dismissal of a state government on recommendation of the state's governor. Opposition leaders were further arrested. A controversial family planning program was put in place, which led to many Indians being unwillingly sterilized. Indira Gandhi was an extremist military dictator that abused the rule of law and democracy in India for two years.
  13. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh This is what Margaret Thatcher said on 31 Oct 1984 - "As the House will be aware, Mrs. Gandhi was assassinated in Delhi today. I am sure that right hon. and hon. Members in all parts of the House will be equally appalled at that tragic news. I am sure, too, that the whole House will wish to join in expressing to Mrs. Gandhi's family, and to the Government and people of India, our profound grief and sympathy. This despicable act has robbed India of a great and courageous leader. Daughter of Pandit Nehru, one of the pioneers of India's independence, she led her country for a total of 16 years as Prime Minister, a period which saw India's emergence as an industrial power as well as a major influence in world affairs. Her death has also robbed the Commonwealth of a statesman of outstanding stature and experience. Mrs. Gandhi chaired the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting, in November last year, with dignity, authority and charm. We shall all feel the loss of her wise counsel and her deep humanity, the more so because we knew her not only as a statesman but as a friend of this country. I understand, although it is not yet confirmed officially, that Mrs. Gandhi's son, Rajiv Gandhi, whom we know well and for whom we have both affection and respect, has been sworn in as the new Indian Prime Minister. We wish him well at this difficult hour in his country's history. Only a few days ago, Mrs. Gandhi sent me a message in which she said: ‘All terrorism and violence are condemnable and contemptible".’ The murder of a democratic leader is an attack on democracy itself. We utterly condemn this savage and treacherous crime. Let there be no doubt that acts of terrorism will only strenghten the resolve of free peoples that those who resort to violence shall not prevail." During and after 1984, it seems clear that the British parliament was directly misled when questions (relating to Britains involvement) were asked. What will be done? nothing... Terry Dicks MP (Hayes and Harlington) Jan 1989 - "Have the British Government made any representations to this evil Indian Government about their persecution of the Sikhs in the Punjab? If not, why not?"
  14. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh January 21st, 2014 | Tom Watson MP The response of the Cabinet Secretary is below. I’ve spoken to him today. He was very clear that he thinks the “cat is out of the bag” and that his report will be presented to the PM shortly. He told me that whilst there is a long standing tradition that the documents of the intelligence services remain private and secret, ministers will have the right to authorise all suppressed departmental papers. Whilst it is not a civil service decision whether the government gives a statement to the House of Commons, he suggested that if there was the political will, there would be one on this issue. It is likely that the Foreign Secretary would lead on this.
  15. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Twitter Message to - @SikhsForJustice what is the legal position behind the UK taking part in planning the 1984 genocide? that this was pre-meditated genocide? Response - @DiscoverSikhism all accomplices in a crime are criminal irrespective of the degree of their involvement
  16. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh e-petition http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/59219 British support for the attack on the Golden Temple at Amritsar, India Responsible department: Foreign and Commonwealth Office The government has recently published documents under the 30 year rule that suggest the Foreign Office authorised military planning advice to the government of India in regard to the raid on the Golden Temple at Amritsar during 1984. We would like the government to make a statement in the House of Commons as to how and why the secret decision was taken and what military support was given to India; publish all documents relating to this matter and consider an official apology to the Sikh community.
  17. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Ji Amazing! Compare this young gifted child to those born into Punjabi backgrounds that do not understand the value of Sikhi and crave to be 'western'. Whatever Robert decides to do, his parents can be very proud of their son.
  18. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Ji "In the name of freedom, Thatcher cultivated close relationships with some of the worst regimes on Earth, including Saddam Hussein’s Iraq (pre-Kuwait invasion), Suharto’s Indonesia and Pol Pot’s Cambodia. But even her relationship with Suharto, a perpetrator of genocide whom she described as “one of our very best and most valued friends,” cannot be compared to the closeness expressed in her friendship with Augusto Pinochet. If we were to accept Thatcher’s rhetoric of the defence of civilisation, democracy and freedom, Pinochet would seem an unlikely ally, let alone a close friend and confidant. Following the United States directed destabilisation of the Chilean economy, Pinochet came to power in a bloody CIA-backed coup in 1973, overthrowing the legitimate democratically elected government of Salvador Allende. He immediately suspended all political activity and the constitution. Following the coup, a Chilean army death squad named Caravana de la Muerte, the “Caravan of Death,” flew aeroplanes which dropped the mutilated corpses of political opponents into the sea. Despite minimal military opposition to the coup, Pinochet’s government waged a war of savage repression against the Chilean people, and thousands of Chileans were murdered because of their political affiliation. Many more trade unionists, leftists and their families were not murdered but faced tortures so unimaginably gruesome that death would have been preferable for them. In an estimate widely considered to be overly conservative, the Valech Commission concluded that over 40,000 Chileans were subject to torture by the Chilean secret police." Much of the military hardware used to support regimes was supplied by UK manufacturers. In 1980, a year after she took office, Thatcher lifted the arms embargo on Pinochet – a flow of weapons, including fighter-bombers, followed. "If (wo)man is judged by the company (s)he keeps, then Thatcher - self-professed friend to generals Pinochet, Suharto and Zia, ally of Saddam Hussein, admirer of the Saudi royals, soft on apartheid - must be judged a champion of despotism and dictatorship, not of freedom or liberty. The historical record is so clear and indisputable that to believe otherwise is wilful blindness." 19. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Ji A hypothetical question? If someone enters your home and kills you while you try and defend yourself. Would it be ok to justify the action by labelling you with a particular term? Why is there a continuing justification of these attacks and denial (last stage of genocide)? If the biased BBC need help at English, they can try the following edits; "The storming of the Golden Temple was aimed at flushing out Sikh separatists revenge by the Indian government and the killing of Sikh civilians." "The Sikhs separatists demanded an independent homeland - called Khalistan - in Punjab want to live in peace without discrimination." "1982: Armed Sikh militants, led by Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, took take up residence in the Golden Temple complex as he was in charge of Gurdwara affairs." Does the media not know how to spell 'genocide' when it comes to SIkhs?
  20. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Ji Try reading some of the articles here... http://www.discoversikhism.com/sikhism/atheist_myths.html and http://www.discoversikhism.com/sikhism/gurmat_gyan_english.html Make the time to study and learn about Sikhi and your questions will become much clearer.
  21. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Ji The British took from Sikhs, they took their homeland (Punjab), left them nationless, used Sikhs in wars, what did they give back?
  22. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Ji Waljinder Bhaji, Thank you for posting the Akaal channel coverage. An important point was raised, where was the UK democracy and parliamentary scrutiny? For a nation that prides itself on its good conduct, ethics and values, this is hypocrisy at its highest. Margaret Thatcher has tainted her legacy by acting like the military dictator that Indira Gandhi became. Indira Gandhi, a ruthless military dictator? Oh Yes... How often have you heard Gandhi described as 'the extremist military dictator that abused the rule of law and democracy'? You can read how Indira Gandhi was the real extremist and terrorist here - http://www.discoversikhism.com/sikh_news/1984_sikh_genocide.html
  23. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Ji This subject is being separated from the main topic "** Tom Watson Uk Member Of Parliament Reveals Biggest Secret: Britain Involved In 1984 Army Attack On Darbar Sahib" to specifically deal with false descriptions of Sikhs and the subversive propaganda against Sikhs. In a BBC news article today; http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-india-25723875 The BBC have stated; "The storming of the Golden Temple was aimed at flushing out Sikh separatists." "The Sikh separatists demanded an independent homeland - called Khalistan - in Punjab." "1982: Armed Sikh militants, led by Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, take up residence in the Golden Temple complex" In 1984 the BBC were labelling Sikhs as "extremists". The usage behind such propaganda against Sikhs has justified the Sikh holocaust and genocide. We encourage all people to complain against false media descriptions against Sikhs, starting with the BBC. This will only take a few minutes and can be done here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/complain-online/ and click on "Make a complaint" Have you read our page 'What happens to your complaint'? Yes Which service is your complaint about? BBC News (TV, Radio, Online) What is your complaint about? BBC News Online What is the URL of the relevant BBC News web page? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-india-25723875 What is the best category to describe your complaint? Factual error or inaccuracy Have you contacted us before about this complaint? No What is the subject of your complaint? Incorrect/ false labelling of Sikhs Full details of complaint: The BBC have incorrectly and falsely labelled Sikhs as 'separatists' who 'demanded an independent homeland - called Khalistan' and termed Sikhs 'militants' who took residence in the Golden Temple complex. The usage behind such propaganda against Sikhs has justified the Sikh holocaust and genocide. These claims are false, unsubstantiated and should be withdrawn with a full apology. Do you want to receive a reply? Yes Apart from Sikh media coverage issues, please comment on the main thread.
  24. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Ji Bhaji, (correction with the SAD reference) We think this either refers to the 'South Asian Department' or is a typo and refers to the SAS. This does not refer to Indian Akali Dal SAD. Before we raise a formal complaint with the BBC over these comments, can anyone confirm whether Baba Jarnail Singh or anyone else at Sri Harmandir Sahib at the time 'demanded' Khalistan? We are aware, of comments saying we would not refuse Khalistan should a situation like 1947 occur again. And India needing to choose whether they want to treat Sikhs as equals and keep them in India or not. However these comments do not infer they were separatists or 'demanded' anything. How would Christians feel if a foreign government conspired with Terrorist Authorities to do this to Westminster Abbey or the Vatican City?
