i agree its also the fault of parents, while Mr §ingh says its all the fault of the parents. i think western culture has a big thing to do with it. the religous adults try teaching they're children, but they can only do so much, when a childs friends are not religous and all the things he or she likes are suppose to be avoided. on sundays at our local gurdwara, there ae only a few sikhs in they're teens. i don't know as many religous kids as you maybe do, but here are some i know. -the president of our gurdwara, is not much of a polition, he's a very religous man. his boy has lots of knowledge about sikh and had a turban until grade 9, then he felt the pressure, and cut his hair, started going out, starting drinking and doing drugs. -there is this girl, her father is one of the main members at nanaksar, in india. she has tons of knowledge about sikhi, more then most of the people on this forum. but when she came here, she started watching hindi movies, listening to bhangra, and other things i would rather not mention. -theres thing one guy from india, he took amrit in his early teens. but when he came here, within a year he started eating meat and drinking. his older brother did the same. and now he's planing to cut his hair. - theres this one guy, his dad takes him to the gurdwara, every sunday. this guy is very knowledgable. but since he came to high school, he has had sex a few times already and now drinks like crazy. -there are a few more people i know that have lots of knowledge, but have cut they're hair during or after high school and now drink. so, these are the sikhs i know personally that have been taught ab out sikhi by they're parents. and consider this, there are about 10 000 sikh adults with turbans here, and about 100 teens. i think more then a hundred sikhs have been taught about sikhi (in calgary). and the sikh population here is about 70 000.

no way, khalistani and Singh Khalsa have actually proven it, while sandeep kaur is just giving a oppinion. waheguru ji has already decided, so why waste time dating. and most of the time when 2 people start dating they don't end up getting married, its usually a break up, and if they do get married, they are more likely to get a devorice

thats me we do need to get ready, its not like we have support from too many hindus, muslims or christians. there are actually more sikhs converting into other religions then there are people converting into sikhi.

ya, its sad that some sikhs feel the gov't was only after sant bhindranwala, and they also say he shouldn't have stayed at harimandir sahib, but they can't explain why the other gurdwaras were attacked. the gov't claimed it was there to eliminate terrorists, but it was more then that. it was an attack on sikhi "Sant Jarnail Singh Ji never thought for khalistan", thats true, khalistan was an idea of his followers. "the Guru Granth Sahib Ji was also made shaeed in harimadir sahib", after knowing this, how could a sikh watch a hindi movie or support the gov't's agression towards minorites (including muslims) and how could a sikh say sant ji destroyed the reputation of sikhs, all he did was point out what was going on. and even after the attack, hindus came and started handing out sweets to the soldiers and dancing.

ya, your also not suppose to dye your hair. i always see people with uncut hair, but they dye it, to cover they're white hair. (i m always like whats the point, people can tell how old you are by your wrinkles)

NO YOUTH => Almost,mare introduced to Sikhi if they were they would've fallen on Guru jee's feet LONG AGO in Pinds its WORSE because of lack of education, and knowledge about Sikhi Mr §ingh, here we go again. Mr §ingh, i agree it is also the parents fault, but the kids have a choice too. i know tons of adult sikhs, who know lots about sikh, and they've tried passing that on to they're kids. but the kids are more influenced by the culture and they're surroundings. i know alot of guys who drink, do drugs and party, yet they're parents are good sikhs and have already tried to put them on the right path. i believe the reason you don't see this, is because you living in sweden. and it doesn't have a crazy number of sikhs. or maybe i m just too narrow minded, and only see whats happening in canada.

on this topic Singh Khalsa and khalistani are a 100% right can anyone name a sant or guru that dated and how could anyone with a sister approve of dating "people who agree with dating are just trying to justify they're sins"
