  1. Bhen ji yes it was said , yes it came true but maybe the person doesn't want to become known for that and get tangled in haumai of riddian siddhian which ultimately are a test of gursikh's true focus on Akal Purakh. Bachan of Guru ji is we will all experience that for ourselves if we follow their instructions but we are also told that it is a kind of 'sideshow' distraction to test our calibre do we want Milan with Waheguru or just powers above standard folk in this world i.e. live in haumai. Let it go, you know what you heard and experienced just carry on with your bani you're doing good.
  2. looking forward to PURE PLANT NATION his son's movie due out early next year http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2014/10/this-scientist-thinks-cancer-can-be-prevented-and-even-cured-through-diet/
  3. The extra insult is they seem to be holding Guru ji at zero Value literally, there is no vetting process so literally anybody could get hold of a copy and do beadbhi, just great...<face palm> it looks like they are printing padd chedd saroops so SGPC must involved somehow ... do we still do panj piare escort of padd chedd saroops too even if they are not considered 'correct'
  4. I had Massive arguments with my Masi (4 years senior)she pro Hindi,I pro Punjabi , she is born and bred Indian and her son is four months younger than my eldest and could not speak word one of Punjabi, despite going to school in Punjab for his first thirteen years. She was really against speaking or teaching him Punjabi even in the home , she felt somehow he would be at a disadvantadge if he did speak Punjabi which is funny cos she is a really good Punjabi speaker. I am UK Born and Bred but I feel that I would not be doing my job as a parent if I didn't try to teach my kids Punjabi, even though I am not very, very fluent, I mean for them not to be able to read bani for themselves I feel would be a great betrayal of trust they have in me. My Cousin only started to learn Punjabi once his Mum and Dad moved back to London from Jalandhar and he spent time with my Mum and speaking with my Eldest son (jokes and turns of phrases initially)and realising it gives you a certain freedom to express yourself truly. I agree his attitude was similar to what you described about being 'on trend' having the latest electronics, clothes etc not so much dharmic (he's a nice kid just never been instructed in what being a Sikh is) , as opposed to mine who have 'If I get something great, if not it's still OK' mine hate 'textspeak' - where people speak the same way they text, so when they catch their Mama doing it they pull him up on it, he certainly has being a bit more expressive now in English as well as Punjabi. He also has learnt to have more outward looking attitude rather than selfish one from Mum, he loves going to Gurudwara and doing sewa. I think in the West because we had direct challenges against our culture and religious beliefs straight away, we have worked hard to protect and enshrine their value in our hearts whereas those in India are like those frogs sitting in cold water pans slowly getting heated up they don't see the attacks because it is so slow and stealthy ...they will get boiled alive before realising the danger they are in (of losing everything).
  5. Unfortunately you cannot measure India's media or justice by western standards both can be bought by the largest bidder and there is no real legal recourse ...

    Gray Hair

I am so happy for you Bhenji , a lot of people don't realise but use of henna will actually damage the natural melanocytes which make natural coolour too so they actually go more white/grey with usage of henna.

    Gray Hair

shade change is possible say from grey to blue , hazel to green remember colour is due to depth of muscle fibres if you have a mineral rich diet muscles have better tone, also toxins in body can affect eyes by making marks on iris, thus reverse is possible when system is clean. My gori friend (homeopathic collegue) was totally gray when she started college with me within in the year she started getting colour back in hair, her natural shade light brown she was doing raw vegan diet and green juicing. myself i experienced reversal of early grays while doing raw vegan too
  8. Problem is parents who FEEL Gurmukhi is a hurdle and try hard NOT to speak Maa Boli to their children and grandchildren , usually it is the patit lot who want to be 'modern' , you can live in the current times and have strength to face it with knowing exactly where you come from how many people sacrificed to get you here , how much your dharam can give you that your folks can not. I agree that patits don't want their kids to know because the kids will question every wrong they can see, my kids did it in the past and still do it now it is natural and right for them to hold Gurmatta above duniya di rasma, they will judge using gurmat bibek if something is right for them or wrong when on their own, I'm glad I could help them at least that much.

    Gray Hair

I would get a blood test done to see if your mineral profile is high enough, the melanocytes may be switched off if you are low in copper and other minerals, but, I would start eating uncooked veggies and fruit right now to repair the damage. look up raw vegan and gray hair reversing, I have seen actual people who have reversed the graying process by changing diet. p.s. you could wear a dastar , I do
  10. Agreed, get actual operationally fit hardware , not toys the dark days are to come soon

  13. honestly when anyone starts bigging themselves up you just know that their claims are fake examples coming to mind 'Sri Sahib, leader of the sikh dharma in the west Yogi Harbhajan and this guy Niddar 'Singh' who by other peoples accounts has made some really outlandish claims and wants to say what we have and are is just Sanathan Dharma , he has also sidetracked the youth into destructive practises. They tend to have unsavoury intentions which come to light later. BTW Bhenji not veer
  14. Changi hoea Guru di shabad di ucharaan hoea I will not critcise that, but I am curious just what such an adharmi aadmi hopes to gain from Guru ji's darbar after killing and torturing so many of his children? Avdi marna da khiaal dimag vich ayia hone te dar de mare Akhand Path mangeiya. Waheguru ji iss aadmi nu mann di shanti kade vi nahin bakshani.
  15. Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh, personally I have seen the difference milk can make to kids with asthma, excema, and stomach problems such as IBS, through my work as a homeopath and as a Mum and it is true that dairy creates more problems than it solves in the west . I only give kids minimal grass-fed organic non-antibiotic use dairy and the one time we switched because it wasn't available the kids got very bad stomachaches and sleep disturbances along with phelm overproduction. Steer clear of soya it is worse than dairy for your body. I would recommend soaking almonds and sesame and make your own nut milk at home , if you worried about b12 defiency watch this guy It is not the end of the world if we don't have dairy; in the jungles Singhs and Singhnian would have very little regular dairy when on the move and they stayed strong and healthy Waheguru has alternative ethical ways to get all we need to us in our diet.
  16. Veer ji I was under the impression that Guru Har Gobind ji started training of Sikhs in the martial arts during his time am I wrong?
  17. Good news It's tax-free also in Delhi http://dailysikhupdates.com/chaar-sahibzaade-made-tax-free-delhi-video/
  18. It back to starting to read bani and promoting it in our homes and families, doing sewa as families learning together and supporting at that important level. When we were like that, bani flowing out of each family home, the powers that be couldn't shake us, or make us cower.
  19. If you look at the make up of her followers it is loads of Musaliya who have same attitude to wearing hijab. Point of hijab is keep a humble, decent non-provocative image but now it also is a fashion item topping tight, tight clothes and madeup faces , it really says don't objectify me, not. The musaliya love the image of the dastar so much ...they are training each other on how to tie their hijabs like dastars . We (females) need to check what we are doing and what signals it sends out ...before we slip all the way down and also drag guroop into the mud.
  20. heeeeeaaan???? you guys went and all you said 'you better not put a durga statue inside this replica building cos our feelings will get hurt' ' you stop smoking here because smoking is not allowed in Harmandir Sahib' hold on ...what???
  21. it could be to redirect tourism out of Punjab as Harmandir Sahib is the number go to destination now within India, keep us weak financially and poor ..
