tanu kaur ji, we could say the same about amrit in your hair. theres no need to make a gap in your keski as its about the essence? what i'm saying is amrit wouldn't touch your pupil at all if you wore contact lenses. However some punj are more or less strict on these issues, so like heera singh said ask your punj pyare, but if you really want the whole of this amrit through drinking, eyes and dasam duar, then its best not to wear contacts!

u must take amirt again if u wear contact lenses at an amrit sanchar. part of receiving amrit is to have amrit sprinkled in your eyes, not on your contacts!

yeh even that might not be big enough singh jee, i remember in 2005 main smagam there was so much sangat that even park avenue was too small! it was packed outside aswell as inside. derby gurdwara is pretty big too and in 2006 that hall was full to the maximum. so can't the rhensbhai be done at derby instead? im not sure if even half of sangat can fit into even the back hall!!!! chal we'll c wat happens

please phone balbir singh general sec of akjuk. perhaps you can push him to organise a rhensbhai week after and hold an amrit sanchar then! there is normally a rhensbhai after the april smagam each year anyway, so maybe you're in luck

UPDATE: there will not be an amritsanchar at park avenue during rhensbhai. so there may not be one at smagam at all, but look out for further updates...if not then there is talk about organising a rhensbhai 1/2 weeks after smagam and holding an amritsanchar then. fateh

i dont know about bibi kulwinder kaur. but at the moment the "well known" kirtanis like dulla, harpreet singh, amolak singh, manpreet singh wont be attending. i just wanted to confirm that amrit sanchar will be at park avenue. however since theres been recent changes i would keep an eye out for updates.

which crazii kirtaniz are attending this time??? crazy kirtanis? lol well it will be quite a few india kirtanis attending for smagam. so far there wont be any north american kirtanis, but theres still time. However this smagam will be amazing regardless of which kirtanis attend!
