The Sangat mindlessly throws the money in the golak thinking it will be used for parcher instead it goes to useless projects that do nothing for Sikhi. If the Sangat STOPS putting money in the golak and starts doing Akhand Paths as a family the problem will be easily solved We need a campaign in the social media to stop giving to Gurdwaras because there not doing parcher.

Akhand Paths generate the most income for a Gurdwara. To really make a difference the Sangat should do its own Akhand Path as a family. This will greatly cut the amount of money a Gurdwara will get and the Gurdwara committes will have less money to waste.

With the advant of the internet its easy to spead and receive information. Remember Sikh journalists and writers can get together and start there own internet news group and youtube channel instead of trusting big media to show whats happening to us. There are already many Sikh media groups online and on youtube that cover Sikh events but we have to support them to continue. TAKHT SRI DAMDAMA SAHIB ATTACKED OVERNIGHT BY MISCREANTS Takht Sri Damdama Sahib was attacked overnight by a thus who attempted to rob the Golak. The thugs entered through the Takht’s back entrance where they smashed glass doors to get in. The Toshe Khane (Treasury Chest) was also broken into. At a time when the Damdama Sahib Jathedar is given full security, it’s sad that the 5th Takht got broken into so easily. Very good step remember that most of the money gurdwaras make is probably from akhand path and weddings. We need to do our own akhand paths and not relay on Granthies and pathies. First of all we need to remove the golak infront of Guru Ji and put it somewhere else. once the golak is moved we also need to take down these gold colored metal fences that are in some gurdwaras. here is a picture

What they did was very simple they educated people, started schools, give Amrit to so called low castes, printed in mass books and pamphlets and give to everyone, educated woman and started parcharak schools. People were excited to become Sikhs, so many people from other religions became Sikhs because Sikhi was alive and living in people. Today we spend most of our time digging dirt on other jathebandies to make our Jatha look good.
