  1. lol. her attack on sikhs has nothing to do with it, but it is possible that her ancestry is linked to gangu bhamans, no 100% proof exists, but it is possible. very few kashmiri pandits actually worked for the mughals, gangu was 1 who did and so was one of indiras ancestors who nehru writes about in his biography, perhaps gangus kids were rewarded by given a job in the mughal darbar, just a possibility lol ...
  2. she was a kutti as a man i can not think of anything worse than this happening.
  3. Not to forget how indira sent gurbachan nirankari into punjab to weaken sikhi. when the nirankaris were gnna hold a massive event in amritsar in 1978 sant ji had appealed to the akali government which was led by badal, several times to stop the event from taking place but badal and the akalis did not stop the event from taking place, they had all the power to cancel the event from taking place but they didnt do anything. from this point sant ji lost all hope in the akalis. the event happened and a clash took place between the nirankaris and singhs from taksal and several singhs were killed. theres a video of indira from 1984 b4 operation bluestar talking about the nirankaris and siding with them.
  4. yh they really did undermine sikhs when they attacked akal takht. If anything operation blue star backfired and made it worse and sikhs became much more rebellious. The downside for us was that our weapons stood no chance against their tanks, despite having much inferior weapons the singhs still up a great battle. many army soldiers were killed. It really was her biggest regret. There is a interview of sonia gandhi saying how after the operation indira sat the family down and told them that her days are numbered. This is not what indira had planned. i think indira had actually disowned sanjay gandhi and his wife maneka. maneka has gone as far as becoming a politician in bjp, something definitely was not right there. Maneka did show up at indira funeral the broadcaster called her indiras estranged daughter in law. I'v seen manekas interview with simi grewal and she said that rajiv and sanjay were completely different. sanjay was traditional and wanted a traditional way of doing things and a traditional india, while rajiv was very westernized and had a western approach to everything.
  5. Yh apparently gangu bhaman is their ancestor. Gangu bhaman was a kashmiri bhaman living in punjab. Nehru isnt their actual surname but a name given to the clan of bhamans that lived near a river nehr meaning river/stream. Nehru wrote in his biography that one of his ancestors got a job under one of the later mughal emperors darbar in delhi. Its possible gangus kids were rewarded for his loyalty to the mughals and given a job. It wasnt common for kashmiri pandits to side with the mughals so its possible gangu and the ancestor nehru talks about in his biography were from the same family. Kashmiri pandits have very rarely sided with the mughals, the mainland bhamans on the other hand were mughal @ss lickelickers. There always had been a divide between kashmiri bandits and mainland bhamans. The kashmiri pandits were quite influenced by persian culture and learnt persian a long with sanskrit, the mainland bhamans saw this as corruption of bhaman maryada. There were many other differences as well. That's why when aurangzeb was forcing to convert the kashmiri pandits they came running to the sikhs and not to their bhaman brethren who had close contact with the mughals. Even now the kashmiri pandits are being used politically the central government doesnt actually care about them. A lot of them have been struggling outside of kashmir.
  6. She really regretted operation blue star she thought it would shut sikhs down and she would become a hero. I saw this singh interview on TV and he used to work for all india radio I think. He said after the operation she was a completely different woman. She had lost her confidence, was very anxious all the time and lost in thoughts. B4 operation bluestar he said she was a very confident strong headed woman always thought she was right, very confident in what she said or did, but the last time he met her after operation bluestar he said she was a completely different woman. The emergencey was one of the darkest periods, 100,000s of politicians, activists, protestors and media persons were sent to prison. The media and newspapers were not allowed to write anything negative about her and if they did they were sent to prison. 1000s of sikhs were sent to prison for protesting against the emergencey under sant kartar Singh ji bhindranwale. On top of that during the emergencey she carried out a sterilisation programme where 100,000s of mostly young men for forcefully sterilised. Young men were picked up from universities, schools, trains, etc and operated on her son sanjay was with her on this. Yh I heard as well that she got her son sanjay killed. My mum told me that even back then when he died people were saying it was set up. Her family have millions stashed in foreign banks. Shocking thing is after all this the indian public voted for her again and she became pm again!
  7. Yh I use almond oil too sometimes it feels really nice on the scalp I warm it up for about 30/40 seconds.
  8. Yes my mum told me that her babeh used to use saron da tel for everything lol hands legs feet arms everywhere if some1 had a cut they put saron da tel on it lol
  9. Yh she basically wanted power in punjab. She was a very power hungry competitive woman. A lot was going on in Punjab politically in the early 80s. I think initially the akalis kept sant ji close as sant ji was very vocal about indiras corrupt ways which politically was great for the akalis, but then sant ji became far more popular than the akalis in punjab and the akalis were getting worried about sant jis strong influence over sikh matters indiras party I think waited and took advantage of sant jis growing influence as it weakened the akalis but then the akalis started working with congress to eliminate sant ji and his influence. A lot of games were being played by people like longowal. Iv read there also was some clashes between zail singh and cm darbara singh. At one point when the police was sent to arrest sant ji by darbara singh, zail singh rang from the central government to the punjab police and told then to slow down and let sant ji get away. The idea was to defame darbara singh. Interesting as both zail and darbara were congressmen.
  10. Yh I dnt like that! I thought something was wrong with my phones settings for a second.
  11. I read it about 2 yes back so I cant remember which ang it is on. Possibly I read it in chandi di vaar. Guru sahib was writing about a battle scene between devte and demons and as the battles were taking place the witches and ghouls are getting excited and scavenging on the corpses. The witches are described with their hair out and long nails. Historically in our culture and religion a woman with her hair out was considered very degraded. When a woman used to become a widow they used to undue her hair and open it which meant she was a widow! Witches are also described as having their hair out and deshelved. Not even prostitutes used to have their hair open. Hindu scriptures tell women to keep their hair tied in a goth/plait and not have it out. While in sikhi a woman is supposed to keep her hair in a jooda just like a singh is supposed to. Last yr I was surprised when the singh doing katha at the gurdwara said that these days women resemble chudails/witches with their hair open and long nails! Not many people doing katha have the guts to say stuff like that in today's politically correct times.
  12. I think they do have the balls but sikhs get in the way and always side with the other people. Rss/shiv sena have been very vilified by sikhs in punjab so whenever there is a clash between rss/shiv sena sikhs will always take the other side even if the other side is in the wrong. Bhamans these days aren't all weak and skinny like how they used to be with their dhotis! Iv seen some young bhaman lads from the pind that are well built go gym and could put up a fight with any sikh jatt lad. They ain't all skinny and wimpy like they used to be in the past. Bhamans from the shahrs are more nerdy though. Watch whenever someone decides to drive these Christian's out of pubjab it will most likely be the hindus. Very unlikely sikhs will drive them out. Sikhs see hindus as the big bad guy and always feel the need to jump in defense of whoever the hindus have beef with. When in reality the abrahamics are a far bigger threat. This auto set mode od jumping to the defense of whoever hindus have beef with could backfire on sikhs.
  13. yh your average hindu like gujjus know nothing about sikhs, whatever idea they have is from what they see in bollywood movies daler mehndi etc politicians like navjot sidhu or babe like trilochan das that comes on aastha tv thats about it really and all these type of people are more hindu than sikh.
  14. Its very true, you read hindu scriptures and you look at their practice today and its nothing alike. Hinduism has become a culture or tradition now rather than an actual faith. The whole cow vigilante thing is just an excuse to attack muslims, hindus don't give a monkeys about cows, you go india and see the state of the cows there they are starving and you can see their bones. The yogi guy from UP opened a cow ashram yet the living condition of the cows in the ashram is not too different to the cows on the streets. india makes a lot of profit from cow meat, leather etc so thats why in some states you cans still slaughter cows. The whole cow thing is just a political thing. The marathas never were a hindu empire it was like any other predatory empire with the aim to gather wealth not protect hindu dharam. The bhamans that used to work for the mughals themselves used to assist the mughals in demolishing and raiding mandirs. sikhi and hindu culture is very blurred in punjab, the line is very thin, its quite complex, its not black and white. your average hindu in punjab goes gurdwara as well and really is no different to your average sikh in punjab. hindus also do akand paaths in their houses. you will see many hindu houses especially the aroras with OM as well as khandas outside their kotis. We have a poor arora lady working for us and she told me she reads japji sahib everyday and her son recently went to hazur sahib, but at the same time b4 her husband passed away she also used to keep karva chauth wear sindoor etc. the line is very blurred. Even people that come from a sikh bloodline don't practice sikhi and do their own thing, like the jatts where i am from build tombs and worship their ancestor, same with the sainis, this is their main belief, same with my family. the khatri sikhs keep kesh but go mandir, their wives keep karva chauth and they where sindoor and they do pooja at home and have photos of devte in their shops etc Sikhi is like the blanket religion in Punjab that everyone has some link with or some involvement with regardless of caste or religious background. Like the hindus do their own thing yet still go gurdwara, the khatris do their hindu stuff and go gurdwara, jatts/sainis worship their tombs and go gurdware, ravidassias guru is ravidass yet many still believe in guru nanak and do gurpurb though they seem to not like the khalsa concept the only real sikhs iv seen are the ones from gursikh families every pind has a few of these families, everyone else just practices whatever their practice was b4 their ancestors came into sikhi.
  15. These are the tactics Christian's use. Its gd they helped the sikh families this is where our daswandh should go. I really hope the rss and shiv sena go berserk and drive these pastors and their bs out. That's the only way these Christians are gnna go because sikhs aren't gnna do anything. Sikh SJWs will try to block the shiva sena and protect the christians when the shiv sena will drive the Christian's out though.
  16. My mum said the same thing when I showed them this she said they are sikh females yet they sitting there with their legs nangi. My sister is really modest and wouldn't dress like that but if she even did she knows there will be consequences. It's become a social norm now, their families dont mind. You should see the way they are dress at punjabi weddings. My family went to a anand karaj a few months back and the females had their bellies showing at the gurdwara, their heads weren't covered properly and the granthi did announced through the speaker that the females need to cover their heads. This is the state. Its no longer seen as bad. Females have their legs nangi in front of their fathers and brothers, and their fathers and brothers dont mind, it's not seen as wrong. There are a punjabi brother and sister on insta that do fitness and there are photos of the brother wearing a kacha and his sister wearing a bikini and they are hugging each other. It's really normal for many punjabi families now. Females have their nang out in front of their brothers and fathers. You truly can see how its kalyug. A woman should cover herself while a man should lower his gaze when he sees another woman. The only nangpuna a man is supposed to see is his wifes and no other womans and vice versa. This is not just a sikh thing but a dharmic thing. Sant Harnam Singh ji says how when he was a teenager and walking through his pind a young woman saw him and veiled her face, when sant ji saw this he immediately looked to the ground and walked past her. He then says that every young man should lower his gaze when walking past a woman. These are dharmic teachings. Women used to veil their bodies from men while men used to walk past looking down. These days women get nangi in front of their brothers and fathers let alone cover themselves in front of other men. Sant jarnail singh bhindrawale, whenever a woman used to come to him to talk or ask about a query or problem, he always used to make sure there were other people in the same room, never did he let a woman go into a room he was sitting in if there was no one else present. But who understand these kind of things today... Imagine if the shaheed bibiyan of the past saw the undignified shameless appearance and ways of the punjabi women of today. In dasam bani guru sahib when describing the scavenging witches he describes them as having their hair out and with long nails, the appearance of punjabi women today. Gurbani says dress in a way which does not attract negative attention. Yet that is what women live on and crave for, they just dont admit it and are in deep denial. They will never admit they dress for attention. If having their nang on display will give them that attention then they will do it. But hey where sexist and oppressive and misogynists when we say this stuff and we cant tell women what to do. Then they wonder why they end up getting treated like scrap and everyone sees them as easy maal. Their loss ....
  17. How is sikhi in Delhi compared to sikhi in Punjab? Any difference?
  18. Ever since I posted this iv been having cold showers everyday first few seconds makes you almost jump lol but then it's fine. It feels good! It feels better on the skin now whenever i wash my face with warm water it feels horrible. Not sure what its gnna be like in winter though lol Since the last few days I been sitting in the sun aswell absorbing all the heat feels gd. Our skin needs that too. Gives your skin that nice glow.
  19. Dhan Guru Harkrishan Sahib ji. If you've been Bangla sahib you will see how many poor people of delhi and migrants rely on guru ka langar. Once we went around 5am and already the langar hall was filling up with poor people for tea. VID-20200509-WA0004.mp4
  20. Well that's not gd isit it seems india really wants war. Are they prepared though as usual punjab and other bordering areas will also suffer.
  21. My mum just put some of that stuff in my hair and it stinks! It's pure 100% mustard oil is there any actually benefit in this stuff! Because it stinks. I normally use castor oil mixed with coconut oil and sometimes vitamin e oil and argan oil but never this stuff!
  22. I'm around your age aswell and internet can be very distracting especially with this current lockdown. But internet is great to learn more about sikhi too. You can watch katha online, simran, learn pronunciation of bani etc and learn more about sikh way of life ... what I do is make a mental plan of what I want to do throughout the day like if I'm reading a book I set myself a target of reading atleast 30 pages or make sure I read japji saint twise and do some simran and do 20 min cardio etc set yourself a target of what you want to do that way you have less distractions and if your able to do what you had planned you feel satisfied by the end. My biggest problem is not sleeping on time because I find something interesting to watch then waking up in the morning becomes a struggle ...
  23. The bedis come from guru nanak dev jis family while sodhis come from the families of the last 7 gurus. Bhallas come from the families of either guru angad dev ji or guru amar das ji cant remember ... Bedis tend to be a bit hindufyed from what iv seen.
  24. Does anyone know if the story of baba chand laughing at guru ram das jis long beard true? Guru sahib had a beautiful long beard and baba chand started laughing and asking why his beard is so long and guru sahib replied by saying to wipe the feet of the saints like you. Some people sat this is true while iv read many people so that this story is not true and was made up by the followers of baba chand. Anyone know if it's true? Guru amar das ji pressed the legs of guru angad dev jis son baba dattu? After he kicked guru amar das ji onto the floor
