  1. Coronavirus nd Chinese Propaganda. They always want 80/90% of people believing them, believing the lie the truth then becomes irrelevant.
  2. canadian sikhs welcoming afghan sikhs. need more stuff like this in our community
  3. i think the cultural difference becomes a bit of a barrier. but the sad state of afghan sikhs in Afghanistan is becoming more common knowledge among sikhs in the west. i saw this video of aghan sikhs who arrived in canada on asylum in canada being welcomed by the canadian punjabi sikhs with hugs and flowers. but i think that cultural difference will always be there, they have their own culture and theres nothing wrong with that. arab muslims dont give a sh1t about other muslims, Palestinian muslims are being killed and their neighboring super rich arab states have done nothing about it. arabs never spoke against what happens to african muslims or the rohingya muslims. one of the sheikhs from the arab states did deals with modi despite the treatment of muslims in kahsmir and even lighted the burk khalifa with indias flag. would pakistan take in delhi muslims? probably not.
  4. absolutely! she was right! well it was my idea lmao i was only 11 and wanted to see it lol i started whining that i wanna see it.
  5. those females are the worst kind, kala alam is really dangerous. they even do it in this country!
  6. the 1st time we went hazur sahib i was 11 yrs old and being the brat i was i started whining that i wanna see the taj mahal! so on our way back we stopped in agra and saw it. on our way back to punjab we rang our nani and she told us we ruined our dharshan of hazur sahib and should all start doing waheguru simran in the van.
  7. guys who been Punjab what did you think of their attitude towards muslims? it might vary from region to region ... from my experience its quite negative in general and one of distrust , punjab has a tiny muslim population tho. i cdnt tell if it was one of old school untouchables, cautious or distrust. I asked my cousin sister if people like muslims here and she said no and that we dont mix with them. my other cousin said the same thing when i saw a mosque in the shahr and wanted to go over and have a look he stopped me and said that we dont mix with them people. Similar thing happened when we got off at delhi airport one yr and i wanted to see the mughal monuments lol, our driver from punjab was from my mums pind hes one of our chamar neighbors and he wasnt very keen on it and said to me that these places dont belong to us and that they belong to muslims and that im not gnna get anything out of visiting them! lol .on our way to punjab my mum was like dnt go around telling people that you visited these places. around where my family are from pinds are located very close to each other, like you can see the neighboring pinds from your roof tops and coz of this neighboring pinds have gd relationships and ties, my dads pind has a few neighboring pinds which are predominantly muslim and they never left during 47, these muslim pinds are the only pinds that the people from my dads pind dnt mix or socialize with! they are like outcast pinds its just interesting seeing this attitude in punjab towards a tiny community which is almost non existent. not sure where this comes from perhaps its from the stories of partition or stories about mughal persecution that you grow up hearing... its sounds harsh, but with the way muslims are treating sikhs outside of punjab i think this attitude is fine! to much trust is not gd but media is fast at work in changing these attitudes with people like hans raj, sartaaj, nooran sisters and all the rest.
  8. eh lok kise de sakay nay hunde i wonder what the sikhs protesting against caa in delhi and malerkotla think of this? a lot of sikhs outside of punjab always like to go the extra mile when serving non sikhs. Not sure why this is, maybe its becasue they are more socially mixed with non sikhs? you'd think because they are a minority they would be a bit more cautious of being too open with non sikhs, idnno
  9. Rare video of Shaheed Avtar Singh Brahma along with some Canadian Sikhs. During the battle of Mand Shaheed Avtar Singh Brahma shot down a indian government helicopter with so much force that it came crashing down and blew up into flames. some rare footage of bhai sahib and some candian sikhs
  10. We get the occasional squirrel as well lol . I like animals.
  11. Lol we get mix of pigeons, gulls, crows, magpies and those little black coloured birds. And the roof isnt full of pigeon poo in fact I dont see any. Been doing it since I was a kid.
  12. Lmao iv seen cats stalking the birds when they are eating HAHA! They crouch down on their bellies and slowly move forwards. But because roofs are flat birds see them easily. We get this big fat ginger cat that stalks the birds.
  13. I think the warrior tradition has long died in sikh communities, we dont even think about it. Once you start living in fear you just dont react back with force. But if you look at ithiaas sikhs have had phases where we fight back and phases where were slaughtered left right center and didnt do anything.
  14. Do you guys feed animals/birds in your gardens and other places. A lot of older generation punjabis do this in india and and the UK. It's important to do that if you dont already. It's like a dhaan. Just buy seeds, and throw them on the roof in your garden, birds eventually get into the habit of visiting your house and become familiar with it. It's really good to do that. Even bread! Just break it into small pieces and throw it into your roof. If you dont have a flat roof then use bird table or those hanging bird feeder things.

  16. It's sad isnt it, these same sikhs are the legacy of Hari Singh Nalwa and look at their situation now. I dont understand why they just dont move to the UK, Delhi etc I used to work with a Afghan sikh guy and he said it's simply because of the gurdware that they dont leave Afghanistan, but is it really worth it ...
  17. I bet you the queen or her husband aren't gnna die but all innocent hard working people are gnna die.
  18. Punjab is complete lockdown, my thias daughter said police are walking around in the pinds and questioning people if they are out of the house. The lady who works for my thai was going to the field opposite our house to throw the cow poo there and the police stopped her and questioned her and she had to lie and say it was her cow poo lol if she said she was working then she would probably got in trouble lol
  19. Equality does not mean sameness, people get the two confused. Men are better at some things than women and in some women are better than men. Men and women are different not the same. Gender equality does not equal sameness
  20. My mum works at the hospital and she said the wards are full and the situation is out of hand. Initially they cleared 3 wards for the corona people but there are so many patients with it now that they have ran out of space for the Corona patients that and are now giving them places it other wards all patients are mixed now corona patients with all the other regular patients. Couple of people have died, around 8 nurses that she knows have it as well, 3 cases of babies being born with it too. All the people that died are old.
