  1. He's got a little red earring to go with his outfit as well.
  2. I laughed out loud when I saw it! But yeah its embarrassing I guess.
  3. Not sure bro, I'll go through the photos I took at the exhibition, I might have taken a photo of it. But it shows how Sikh women had a different appearance.
  4. Importance of wildlife for a healthy ecosystem. Beavers prevent floods by building natural dams!
  5. I went to a Sikh Empire exhibition a few years back and a British man visiting Amritsar in the 19th century wrote that Sikh women were mostly wearing Blue or Yellow clothes.
  6. Serious action needs to take place with these "sikhs" otherwise things are going to spiral out of hand very fast. We only need to look at what happened to the religion of the western countries we live in because they kept quite. As laughable as these images are, they are scary. This will be Sikhi if no one does anything.
  7. How far are people going let this go? Calling Guru Nanak Dev ji that q word? What next? A painting of guru ji carrying the lgbt flag? They are pushing the boundaries of what they can say, and if anyone protests then they are homophobic. Christian's never reacted to people insulting Jesus and now there are 1000s of inappropriate images of Jesus, people dressing up as Jesus at gay parades etc Sikhs are replying to these people with polite tweets, these polite tweets only work for some time. How will Sikhs react if a gay Sikh creates a image of the gurus wearing the lgbt colours ? Reply with another polite tweet? Some times you need to do more than just disagree on social media, and instead take the matter into your own hands and make it clear that there is a boundary. Someday an incident will take place against gay sikhs and sikh feminists which will probably make the news.
  8. Here in the UK some schools have banned teachers from saying boys and girls. The LGBTQ people are like an army, dictatorship, they force people to agree with their beliefs and vocabulary. Here in the UK their more influential than any religion, culture, race or politics. Whatever they demand they get! There really isn't much difference between the LGBTQ army and Saddam Hussein. Though I think there was a bit more freedom under Saddam than there is under the LGBTQABCD+ army. If my son comes home from school wearing a frock and saying he's a girl, I think I'd ship him off to Saudi Arabia.
  9. Don't think we can say ladies and gentlemen anymore! https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9574901/LNER-slammed-apologising-staff-said-good-afternoon-ladies-gentlemen-boys-girls.html#article-9574901
  10. A degrading poster the British created of Rani Jind Kaur, they then spread it all over South Asia and Britain. Just shows you how far they went. This would have been the worst way to attack a 19th century Indian woman. I'm surprised she didn't commit suicide after this poster was released, because that's how offensive it would have been considered in those days. I've used black marks to cover parts of it. They called her the Messalina of Punjab, Messalina was a Roman empress who was addicted to pleasures.
  11. Yeah I read he killed his own mother because she was having an affair, but I only ever read that in one book. The Brits created a lot of false rumors about Ranjit Singh, especially that none of his sons are his! the reason they did that was so when Ranjit Singh died people would question his sons right to the throne. The Sikh Queens were even more restricted than the Muslim Mughal Queens were. Even the rumors they spread about Ranjit Singhs sons were quite stupid! like apparently either Duleep Singh or Sher Singh was the son of a Muslim water carrier but Ranjit Singh apparently had no problem with that! What red blooded Punjabi man would be Ok with his wife having a baby with another man! What's even more pathetic is that Sikh "historians" like Amandeep Madra use British propaganda as fact. They also started defaming Maharani Jind Kaur, by creating inappropriate paintings of her with the Kohinoor diamond on her belly and spread it around South Asia and Britain.
  12. But what about the sahki where shri chand ji laughed at Guru Ramdas Jis beard? Guru Ramdas ji had the longest beard of all the gurus. When shri Chand ji met guru ji, shri chand ji started laughing at guru jis beard and asked him why is it so long, Guru Ramdas ji was humility personified, and he replied saying to wipe the feet of saints like you.
  13. I've never heard of Chand Kaur not liking her son ... He was quite popular among the Sikhs. He donated a lot at Tarn Taran Sahib darbar sahib. He got the gate built and a burj built at corner of the sarowar, he was going to get more work done but died. Yeah Kharak Singh was crap, he was heavily addicted. Some accounts say that he was poisoned and murdered and that his own son played a role in poisoning him. Though Kharak Singh was still officially the Maharaja, he was actually dethroned and kept in a room with one of his loyal courtiers (forgot his name) This courtier was murdered by one of the Dogras. Kharakh Singh was then slowly poisoned to get him out of the way. While all this was all happening Nau Nihal Singh was basically running everything, little did he know that his own murder was being plotted as well! When Hari Singh Nalwa and Maharaja Ranjit Singh took over Kashmir from the Afghans, Kharak Singh also took part as well, So he started of good, but he later became addicted to opium. Its all very interesting though isn't it lol every empire/dynasty had a lot of drama and traitors.
  14. Yeah Nau Nihal Singh would have been great, he was like his grandfather, which is the reason why he was murdered. He was murdered by the dogras. That day is quite well documented. When the stone fell on him he got up and was absolutely fine. He then was escorted to his room by servants and the Dogras. Later on in the day he was found dead with blood all over him and the servants which escorted him to his room were found dead. Other than the Dogras and the servants who were murdered, no one knew what happened in his room. Some British were there and they wrote that after the stone hit his head he was escorted to his room by some servants and the Dogras. Dogras then didn't let anyone in the room because Nau Nihal Singh had to "rest" after the stone hit him. Some time later he was declared dead. Other than the British, other people present at the time wrote the same thing.
  15. I think he had potential to be a decent ruler tbh. The empire was in a bad state and he seemed to be bringing it back on track again. He only ruled for around a year and a half before he was assassinated. Had he not been assassinated I think he would have been quite a decent ruler. I think he tied his beard because of the Rajput influence. He was close to the Dogras who were Rajputs and they used to tie their beards. Kharak Singh was rubbish.
  16. Well I still haven't read it and never left it at the Gurdwara either lol. Its somewhere in my room ... Anyway, some Sikh predictions like China invading India, with Russia, seem like they might happen in the future. Tensions are rising in the world. After China apparently invades India with much destruction, Sikhs will then take over Delhi. This makes more sense because looking at our ithiaas, we always took advantage of power vacuums and took over.
  17. Surviving death on Netflix was good. Some of the episodes were weird, like communicating with dead relatives! But the reincarnation episode was really good. Some amazing stories.
  18. BJP harlot Kangna has finally been blocked by twitter. Didn't read the whole article but I think she was saying offensive things about Bengalis and Mamta Banerjee. A few weeks back she posted a tweet about the farmers saying that the cancer(sikhs) has been identified and needs to be eradicated. She was basically calling for genocide. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9541329/amp/Bollywood-actress-Kangana-Ranaut-accuses-Twitter-racism-account-suspended.html
  19. This charity is doing some great work. The website if you want to donate. http://khalsahelp.in/
