I heard that 2 white people wrote a book about their experience during intense meditation (tap). The basic story that I heard about it was that these 2 people were very close friends, and were searching for the truth in this world. They decided that whatever remains at the very end of this world will must be the truth. Thus, they both decided to continuously do tap and have a race. The race was between whoever could find out the truth first before the other. One of them found what lasted eternally and described his experience. There was the singing of kirtan (From what I remember from how these people described the singing, I figured it may be kirtan) , and all of the males there all had beards and long hair. However, I explicitly remember hearing that the person who had this experience wrote that he was not allowed entry to this place, but I forget the reasons given to him as to why. Firstly, I am sorry for the terrible description of the book. This happened 2 years ago, where I heard about this so some details are forgotten and may be inaccurate. I write about this now since because I remembered it after reading the "Life transformation Books" post. I wanted to know, does anyone know the name of this book, or any information regarding it. Also, what do you think about the authenticity, if you do know or have read it. I think these people got a glimpse of Sachkhand, maybe as a result of their tap and karams.

We are not all on the same avastha. Some of us have done more abhiyaas ( maybe in our past lives) in comparison to other sikhs. Just keep doing as much as abhiyaas as you can and follow gurmat. keep good sangat and somewhere down the line i cannot guarantee you will feel or experience naam but you will definitely make progress.

Exactly. Something everyone needs to take note of within this past week taksal has accomplished 2 major things for the panth. 1. Completion of janam asthan gurduara for sant baba jarnail singh ji khalsa 2. Completion of Thara Sahib gurduara within darbar sahib. Somethings that should be noted about Damdami Taksal- 1. It was started by 10th guru, guru gobind singh ji maharaj 2. Each mukhi has always been one of the greatest mahapursh's of their time and have done very important things for the panth. Taksal is not just some organization or committee, there is nothing really like it in the world, because this is a group that guru sahib started themselves. People need to reconsider their thoughts and words when they say Taksal is falling or has been driven in the dirt and etc. When they say these sort of things, they are insulting all of Taksal, including all previous mukhi's, all singh and singhnia who were in Taksal and all of their jeevans and their sacrifices, and even Guru Sahib themselves. Also people should really reconsider their thoughts and words when they talk about the state of the panth, and the state of sikhi. We should never say Sikhi is dying, or people are killing it, it will never happen. People from all over the world have tried, the greatest empires in the world, and all have failed. Sikhi isn't something that will be wiped off the Earth. We need to remember that Guru sahib is always watching over us as a panth and as individuals, because we are their children. The chaar sahibzade are always standing by as are all shaheed singh's, and all sikhs in sachkhand. Don't worry about the state of Taksal or the state of the panth. Worry about the state of your own sikhi.The rest will fall into place.

Some Babbar Khalsas were shaheed in the attack and there were some Nihang Singh's in the movement afterwards like some singh's listed on this website http://www.neverforget84.com/shaheeds. However, their is a point here to take here. Today, and back then, the majority of Nihang Singh's did not do what they could have done with Shashtars. I will not say anything more.

isn't it amazing to wonder how sant bhindranwale is still affecting our present today. Many major things happening to our sikh kaum can be related to the bachans of sant bhindranwale. This whole issue between Canada and India today is because of what happened to sant bhindranwale and all sikhs in 1980's and late 70's. Sant ji's bachan was that when darbar sahib would be attacked, the foundation for khalistan would be laid. I think Canada might be the place where Khalistan is established, and this whole movement is from the bachans from sant bhindranwale in seva of guru sahib. Nowadays, i think Canadian media is beginning to propagate against sikhs in general. I have seen many articles from ctv, the toronto sun and other major news outlets within canada that are anti-sikh and sell lies to the common person, mostly because of partial truths of 1984 being spread within canada. There is probably anti-sikh indian/Indian government officials behind all of this, so my question was Do we have our own news outlets propogating truth to the mainstream public, if not we should make our own. Otherwise, we will have clueless people going against sikhi.
