  2. I'ma tell his desi dad right now. We'll hear it from here.
  3. To the "confused" persons living under rocks like trolls, here is some music to remind you who you are. If you have something to say to me, grow back some minerals and say it. I'm right here. Enjoy the music.
  4. Thank you. I don't often eat them myself, but I was curious. I appreciate the feedback.
  5. A poster in another thread mentioned eggs being off limit. So I tried researching dietary teachings of Sikhi. I ran straight into a wall of conflicting information. Some eating meat as long as its not kosher or halal, others eating jhatka meat only. Still nothing on eggs. I respect everyone's personal choice, but where do the eggs come in?
  6. Makes me think while nobody wants to break their spoon, at least the spoon works just as well once repaired, it's just obviously been repaired, but hey that's better than throwing the spoon out.
  7. Are eggs in the same boat as meat? Milk is an exception though?
  8. I totally got confused somehow. Well, I'm sure you would object to homophobia as well! lol my bad.
  9. I'm sorry that your children are subject to racism. I'm happy that you've been there for them as a voice for support and a voice of truth in your community. I applaud you sir. I'd just ask of you perhaps show some compassion for Jagmeet since he's a human being, and you yourself have been in very similar shoes. Keep up the good fight, of addressing racism and homophobia, and your very successful marriage is a beacon of light to many who still face persecution. There are still a lot of unanswered questions in the above posts, it's okay if you don't want to respond to them all, I think they're good food for thought for anyone.
  10. That sounds very reasonable, I'm glad your friend is on the mend too. Is that what you feel jagsaw was doing? Jagmeet isn't even here to be corrected brother man. So is it really about helping a brother with his rehit? I'm pretty sure if Jagmeet was called out publicly by Jagsaw he'd respond in a much kinder way. So who's rehit is really slipping?
  11. I'm not hurt, I was worried that perhaps Jagsaw is in poor health and perhaps not following his rehit, so I said something. You can certainly contact them much more directly and privately over facebook messenger or email etc. He's not even here to be corrected. To the confused, thank you, thank you. I take my bow. I do what I can.
  12. Why not contact Jagmeet SIngh in private then? Why not be so quick to address every other trangressor of rehit? Why be so angry about it? If none are high and none are low, how do you pull a man down to his rightful place? Didn't you just get called about your own rehit? In the past, when people called you out and they did it in a mean way, how'd that make you feel? Maybe the dude could benefit from reading your profile pic. Keep the confused looks on all my posts going, I'm going to print it on a t-shirt. Last question. How does saying "f" Jagmeet Singh embody the spirit of helping a brother? At least in the south they say "bless his soul" or "bless his heart" when they mean f that dude.
  13. That was a comment about how this person comes across, in stark contrast to Sikhism. If you have to council a loved one, out of your genuine desire for their wellbeing, what would you say is the right way to go about that?
  14. You can reconcile this with your sikhism. that statement combined with the anger, cursing, and statement to impose His rules on someone make you sound like a sharia law thumpin jihadi.
  15. Jagsaw.....dude...you need some help man. Naam Bhang Water Repeat until in control of yourself. I'm worried for you. For real.
  16. I'll do by best to find it. I think it was something I read on sikhnet. Stand by. sigh. I was hoping you guys would know.
  17. Well I remember why I didn't make it far into the Quaran before. So much doom and gloom. Sigh. Edit: What I had heard about Mohammed I am not finding in the Quaran. Edit: I was indeed naive and wrong Ji. Thank you. I've read as much of this as I can. I basically got through all of it too. My previous posts are preserved for posterity in the quotes used by the forum members to enlighten me. I've removed the original posts because I can't stand by them at all and it felt cleansing.
  18. Anyone can grow a beard. Oh and BhForce, I love how you answer with Gurbani so well. I wish Guest Singh would read some Gurbani or quote some Gurbani. Mr. Doaba you were my first teacher here, and have continually been a brother to me here. Thank you both.
  19. https://www.sikhnet.com/news/sikh-responds-brilliantly-claim-sikhs-fought-islam-centuries-facts-and-history this is where a lot of my info came from.
  20. If you read the torah, you have to pick the "blueberries" out. And read between the lines. So there is some gnosis, or truth about God in it. The Guru Granth Sahib is only "blueberries"
  21. EDIT: I cannot stand by what I said in this post. I was totally wrong, except the following part I know what the Moghuls and Pakistani did to Sikhs it's the definition of Evil.
