  1. Due to myself knowing one or two if feel it is an opportunity to bring them back to their original faith. Using reason logic and SGGS scripture this task can be fulfilled. First it important to know the origins of Raodaswamis (help needed here) from what I know it was started by the bloke called dyal, who was thrown out of a Gurdwara as he used use to alcohol. Im sure there more to it like who is aiding them. There Scripture is also questionable is it true they have copied from SGGS and changed here and there to make look like a new message?? Most important are the activities and intentions against Sikhi and in what way. Quotes and facts needed.
  2. My thread quoted stats from an authentic source the BBC, it is something which does go on. Fair enough it got closed but how is it anti anyone ??
  3. Below is the Islamic Council of Great Britain´s response to the situation in Sudan and efforts to make the Sudanese authorities see sense.......
  4. kauragous is a great orgainsation keeping it alert on what the scum are up to.
  5. Christmas for most is just a seasonl celebration/Holiday period that ends the year off.
  6. Sikhi talks about souls being one with God, in other faiths it talks about rewards and punishment of a physical person. The ones talk about rewards and punishment of a person bury so how does the body reach where they think it is meant go??? Could our argument be stronger in that we cremate so the soul can reach where we feel its going or even in to another entity??
  7. I picked up a packet and saw the halal sign I was horrified and put it back, check before you buy.
  8. Never get too close to them in terms of frienship and always be aware of what they're up to.
  9. MOH in Punjabi means attachment to worldly things and relations. Can anyone give an example to me is like being obssed with a football team ??
  10. obviously you have not bothered to contemplate bani in a broad sense. To contemplate something in a broad way can lead you to understand something wrongly, and could mislead as broad would mean, not stringent and not straight to the point. With ethics and doctrine it has to be concise.
  11. Could it mean the Saints of that time ??
  12. Sorry not interested in Jackanory, I deal with philosophy.
  13. sants are more interested in promoting thier own agender. plenty of property and big bank accounts.
  14. WGJKK WGJKF!! i agree, sant worship is increasing, our sikh brothers and sisters are falling into the trap of these so called sants... if they were truly "sants" then they would also understand sikhi, and not dwell in maya. peace to all Yes my Brother. How many Sants translate/explain and show how to apply Gurbani? You no the yogis and pundits who Guru Nanak jee confronted for cheating people?? Well these Sants are doing the same as the yogis
  15. Good points some people are practising sant worship, with their collection of pictures of these religious types. I have even scene pictures put in front of SGGS in Gurdwara, which is a complete disgrace. Some Sants never tell you about real Sikh cos if they did, they would never make any money. Look at Sant Mann, trying do some kind of miracle by preying while in cold water. This is contradiction of what Sikhi tells us.
  16. Valentines day, mothers and fathers day all celebrated on the same day !!! lolll that reminds of of a joke... sikhs call it rakhri, hindus call it raksha bandhan, muslims call it valentines day  Somebody with business skills could capitalize on this and make the “3 in one card” !!
  17. I don’t we should look in to it too much as it does not effect us.
  18. Valentines day, mothers and fathers day all celebrated on the same day !!!
  19. Yes very disgusting, but it has nothing to do with us, let them sort out it out (if it is a problem in their eyes that is)
  20. Dr. Zakir Naik is a very well-versed scholar. I have not had the chance to listen to many of his speeches or read his writings, only few. His opinions on Sikhi are not totally something we would disagree with, although the little bit here and there what we call incorrect does exist. Dr Niak is a student of comparative Religion, he knows many verses of all Scripture from every Religion. I often wonder how he rembers them all. my favorite quote of his is "To understand a Religion look at the Scripture not the people of that faith"
