  1. yes but to wear a red dastaar and a red shirt together it does not look right, even pink that doesnt look like a crown, when i see someone wearing for example a blue or orange dumalla that is when it looks like a crown, it looks so nice. i dont know i just dont think all these different colours shouldnt be worn, and i think it looks less crown like. yes but i doubt very much guru sahib wore a red dastaar! fatehjee
  2. fatehjee, you know what i don't see the point in wearing a red or pink dastaar, i also think its silly to match your dastaar to your shirt, your Accessorising which is wrng, why cant we wear the plain and simple khalsa colours? isn't it just better? rather than fussing everyday on what colour to wear and match it to your shirts, i doubt singhs in the past matched there dastaraa to a certain clothing, it just doesnt seem right, i think you should keep it all simple and be simple. there is no need to wear all these bright colours like red, i also think its wrong to wear a red dastaar on your wedding, shouldnt it be a simple colour e.g blue or white? anyway this is my opinion, forgive me if i said anything wrong! fatehjee
  3. fatehjee, i think that other colours such as green and red or even pink shouldn't be worn because i think you should stick to simple colours. I think its silly matching the colour of your dastaar to the colour of your shirt for example, plain black or blueor white are simple to wear and go with everything. I doubt many singhs in the old days wore a red dastaar or bright green, but ye how do i know! anyway its just my opinion, to be simple! fatehjee

  5. fatehjee, personally i would never think of wearing any other colour such as green or red, you shouldnt really be wearing them colours. I think everyone should stick to blue black or even white! ohh and orange. fatehjee

    Amritvela

i know what they mean, as the same thing has happened to me, i used to find it hard, and now its easy, maybe hard and easy aren't the the best ways to put this, but when it was hard to wake up for amritvela and I DID wake up then i would feel happy, like it was a reward and now im used to wakin up and i find it easier to wake up, it doesn't seem so much of a challenge but i feel i need to do more ?? if that makes sense. fatehjee
