    I agree with this. In our attempt to assimilate with other cultures, Sikhs have adapted Sikhi to fit western concepts instead of those concepts being adapted to fit Sikhi

    My point was that Sikhs should not do seva (selfless service) with the intent to convert others into Sikhi. Raising awareness, and conversion being a byproduct is a different story.

    How can he believe in amrit but not Dasam bani? To my knowledge, the contemporary sources that talk about Amrit also mention Dasam bani. Ask him to give a puratan source that doesn't have that...

    No I haven't ji I agree which is why I first thought it was Gurbani but I can't seem to find it anywhere

    To my knowledge, I don't think so. Perhaps it is a kavita that is supposed to be sort of a rendition of what Guru Sahib said

    I don't really want to get into this type of debate but i think the problem was not that it was a 1.4 mil house but instead the possibility that the money donated to blm is possibly being used by them
