    Concerning Panjab statistics by district

    Doaba will be the first region where Sikhs will be reduced to a minority below 30% of the population, this will be a first for a district in Modern Punjab. The lower the numbers in a district, the lesser political power and the more chances of religious repression.

    The Christian conversion is a problem all over Punjab but specifically the border belt, and more so Amritsar/Tarn Taran region rather than the Gurdaspur region which was mentioned in the earlier posts. The Gurdaspur Christian community is historically older (see older census) and not related to the new massive Christian missionary campaign in Punjab.

    It will be interesting to note if (all) Gujjars and other Muslim migrants who have settled (semi) permanently in Punjab are taken into consideration in these census. The combined percentage of Abrahamics (Christians and Muslims) is definitely 10% today in Punjab - a worrying figure. You are already seeing these religions clash with the others in the past 5 to 10 years - these things were unheard of in the 60s 70s 80s and even 90s.

    "Though Muslims share in the total population of Punjab still remains very low, the number of Muslims in Punjab has multiplied by six times in the five decades since 1961, while the total population has multiplied by a factor of 2.5. In 1961, the proportion of Muslims in the state population was only 0.80 percent; it has grown to 1.93 percent in 2011."

    Another thing you'll note is how the bottom 5 districts literacy wise are in the top 10 districts with the highest Sikh percentage. Sikhs need to focus on religious and worldly education to combat all obstacles the nation is facing.

    @Kau89r8 @dallysingh101 according to this moorakh all issues of Punjab are due to NRI's. Accoridng to him we are responsible for wrong political parties getting vote in Punjab and that Punjab is suffering under AAP due to us. The typical hindus in the comment then bringing in Khalistan. If only fools like him supported sikh cause and did not side with the enemies of the panth punjab wouldnt be in this state but alas the likes of him are too dumb to see what is happening.

    Yup that is exactly what I'm saying . Hindus are so dumb and hating on bjp but they know that a large number of them go work in the islamic countries lol. Israelis have a well functioning country and dont need to go to these arab countries so they can continue to do all the <banned word filter activated> they do against Palestinians. I mean millions of Indians live in the gulf.  What did these Hindus expect will happen with the way they are doing things? They have no power other than being a large market for selling products. They are so dumb.

    Kudos to Muslims uniting against them..wish we had that power

    Muslims also do the same thing and constantly insult other people's religion but hindus dont understand that  they got that oil money and india is a poor country with a large population living in other countries and therefore has no power to do things like these to Christians and muslims unlike israel.

    No it wasnt but they burnt our entire library. You know what all we have lost because of these people? If this isnt trying to destroy and change a religion then I dont know what is.

    Look at Saddam or Gadaffi. Saddam was a bit stupid for taking on powerhouse like the US but Gadaffi had a real point. He was much wiser and his intentions were not all bad. Infact his goal to was unite the middle easte and East Africa under one currency but eventually was labeled as the bad guy was taken down. 

    Its even scarier for us Sikhs especially for us not having our own country.  1984 was a true wake up call for us to let us know that our scriptures are trying to be altered. We have alot of so called 'snakes' within our community which is primarily due to established governments.

     

    It's not just about development. Our circumstances are really really bad . No country and being attacked everywhere. I mean just look at our history from 1500 onwards just fighting fighting fighting for our life. The small time of peace we had we were able to establish a well functioning kingdom with education way better than Britain of the time but then again we lost it. We also had Islamic invasions for like 1000 years. If a group is constantly involved in struggling for their survival I dont think it is easy to develop. Do you fight for your land your rights your future generation or do you try to build civilization it's easier said than done to say build this build that. I mean Hindus got a country now with full govt backing so why is India only declining. Going to other countries and working in their companies for high paying jobs is not progress or development. You are only contributing to their growth not your own homeland.

    If a person achieved great things I wouldnt mind them singing songs about it but what has been achieved in the past few decades other than abandoning our motherland and running away and then singing about how great we are sitting in other people's countries lol.

    off the internet I have noticed more Sikhs have become pro Khalistan and have become more distant towards Hindu's. so if that the aim then your guys re winning on that front. Most if not all Sikhs get on really well with me even when they find out what my Surname is (Sharma ) which makes it obvious that I a from a Brahmin background.  but I tell them right away dont judge me for being a Hindu, Brahmin judge me for whom I am as individual(thats the thing with Indians/Pakistani's  they dont accept individuality.) even Hindu's question me   and say things like "why do you wear a Kara you think your a Singh". I just tell them to do one and mind thier own business. I do whats right for me not a what a community say etc. People question me about Modi I am like i dont know much about India  politics my main concern is that baffon Boris Johnson Wala as he is my PM and  his decisions effects my life not Modi. (that response also winds people up) 

    As for me being a Modern Hindu I would say I would identify myself as an Indian more then Hindu thats for sure. I incorporate Indian culture with British Vales. I would say I live a good balanced  western lifestyle. 

    I'm pretty sure its quite easy to say all this when you are not at the receiving end constantly.

Plus I bet you behind every last apna that has been knocked off under suspicious circumstances, there has been at least one if not a bunch of our own readily involved. 

    Sister with all respect, I tell you what worries me about how you are going on. Really, the death level in the community right now is minor. It was MUCH worse when I was growing up. And other communities have had it MUCH worse (i.e. like afghans, or now russians or ukrainians). Now if it ever actually got serious again like it did in the mid 80s till about the early 90s in a jungh situation, how you're behaving would demoralise the panth. These things happen. Get used to it. Toughen yourself up for your own and all of our sakes.  No disrespect.

     

    But those other communities have a huge population too compared to us.

    You realise American and British special forces are most likely tearing up Russian forces over there? The wind didn't just change, and a useless little country like Ukraine started to stem the Russian tide. Why'd do you think there's a selective media dampening of coverage? When the Yanks and British hand Ukraine victory, then the Western propaganda will start up again about the resilient Ukrainian fightback against the Russian Goliath.

    Sikh's craving saviours is why we're going to disappear.

    Not saying we need a saviour but circumstances can change in our favour. Offcourse we need to put in effort and work and not wait for someone to come save us. 

    I know ukraine is getting military help but I dont know what is happening over there at all or who is even winning. My point was none of us thought that in 2022 ukraine would get invaded. So the state of the world can change anytime.
