It happens man. Keep yourself really busy with the things you need to do, at the end of the day you will be really busy, and won't even have the energy to look at "adult sites." Also, if you listen to kirtan more often (perhaps your favorite raagi, it can help you cure that disease as well). GOOD LUCKK!

If you want to marry someone from some other fatih, than be prepared to work extra hard raising the children, if you plan to have kids. Also, make sure before marriage you realize and understanding each other's teachings, and religion. Also, make sure the parents agree, and decide on what religion the kids will be before marrage (again that is if you plan to have any). I would suggest to marry within your own faith, and have a successul life within your religion. :TH:

Well, homie. What I would suggest is just listen to it in your IPOD, and then when you are free. Just go home whenever you do, freshen up and do Rehras Sahib yourself. A giraffe in Punjabi is called the same thing, there is no Punjabi word for it. The most you could do is call it in a desi accent. There are some words in Punjabi that are borrowed from the English vocabulary. Take Care.

That's an awesome reply Papi, SERIOUSLY. Everyone is only concerned about there happiness, even your own blood relations at times, it can even be your OWN parents. You need to keep doing what you need to do, and cut contacts with people that are discouraging your love towards Sikhi brother. If your parents are doing that, than just ignore them, or don't talk to them much about religion. The best thing to do is just keep yourself always busy, and away from BAD SANGAT. Do the things you need to do in your life, such as work, school, gym, volunteer, etc. And add your religious activities in there, and that takes up most of your time everyday of the week. Which means less contact with bad sangat, and perhaps contact with sangat you can actually learn something from. GOOOD LUCK brother! I am glad there are people coming back into Sikhi.

A couple of things: Get a Punjabi Alphabet book and you can read that in your leisure. Also, a English to Punjabi dictionary, so whenever you want to find about a word, you can look at the meaning, the punjabi spelling, and english spelling. And its' true Practice does make perfect. The more you read, the more you know, the more you know, the better. :TH:

Check religious stores in your area. Otherwise, I am sure your "Punjab" of Britian Southall will have it.

If the teacher has made an accusation on you, and you are not guilty, and you are proven not guilty than you can tell the principal that you demand an apology from the teacher and possibly the class if they are involved as well. She can't do anything against you in front of the whole class, there is no such punishment like that in the western class atmosphere.Whatever it is, if she says anything discriminatory than make sure the principal knows about it. I would suggest you keep a tape recorder in your pocket, just to make sure anything discriminatory is said against you, and then sue them like there's no tommorow. That will teach them a lesson. Why is it comical that Sikhs of India wear turbans 60 feet long? If we want, we could wear turbans 100 feet long, why is that funny?

Its' a good start. If I can just recommend some things. A good way to better the wesbite would be to add some pictures of the Gurdwara from outside, and some from inside such as the Diwan Hall would be really good. Also, you could probably add some nice lettering and all that basic stuff to the BLOG. Other than that it is good you are providing the address, and phone numbers, directions, etc. :TH: Now, just for my general knowledge, how many Sikhs are there in Japan? Because, it kind of sucks that the "Gurdwara" is under a Indian Restaurant. I really wish Maharaj had its' own building. Maharaj deserves a well built beautiful building.
