  1. Cisco - lier lier panties on fire! Your jackanory story is as brittle as Humpty Dumpty mate! Try asking nadar for a new story so that you can try and fool some other kids. Listen here my little friend here's just a snippet of some facts about maas: - lord Nadar can twist Gurbani to fit in with his manmukhi all you like, but remember what Maharaj says about fool arguing about meat. And while we're at it, why did you not even address nadars penchant for the devils nectar?? Not Sukha, but Chivas Regal??? - Raw Meat tastes like it come out of the animals own back side! that's why it needs to be cooked and seasoned where as veggies taste beautiful raw - Waheguru never designed your teeth to break up raw Maas, hence why you need to cook it to make it softer. - all the germs and disease of the animal are inside it when you stick it's muscles, joints and flesh in to your body Just a little taster, plenty more for you should you want to engage me! Your sincerely Shaheed Singh aka "The last living Joothi Vidiya master in Southall"
  2. As the SAS moto goes - "He who dares, Wins" You hit that nail firmly on its head my brother. Only differences I can see in the two situations, was the period in which the attrocities and false propaganda took place and the fact that some Sikhs were albe to escape the genocide and inform the world from the outside where as the natives we're stuck right there and unaware of it happening right in the back yard.
  3. Yep spot on paaji - This docu also highlighted the massive part that hollywood has played in portraying the natives as savages and demonised them to the unsuspecting eye, whereas the truth was the exact opposite.
  4. Recurve bows are so simple and yet great to use if you want to increase your accuracy, especially when switching between that and a compound bow, but jeez do they butcher your fingers :-P
  5. Yeah I used to love it too. The only thing I did not like about the class I attended was the amount of people that we're there and the way they would hustle for spots that would nearly always go to the inner circle of the competitive archers within the club. That said it was always worth putting up with the cold Autumn and Winter mornings, just to hit the sweet spot on that target ;-) Unfortunately I don't have any equipment anymore.
  6. Singh1234567 paaji, reminded me of Archery in another post. I used to love doing it every Sunday at my local class. Do many of you brothers and sisters partake? Do you have an interest in it? Whats your general thoughts about it? I've always felt that £600 upwards + extra's is quite steep a price to have to shell out for a compound bow + accessories.
  7. Paaji your spoiler is the bit that most conveniently forget! Thanks for sharing.. I saw a brilliant documentary on the "first humans of central and north america" a couple of weeks back and it was very eye opening. Especially about the way the general populus has been brain washed about them as well as how they we're hunted down, assasinated and the remaining people we're henned in to reservation camps without any proper eduction and prospects for a civilised future. The pilgrims we're, some really sick people! Reminds me of 1947 to present day india
  8. What is all the fuss about?? Seriously?? You don't see that by having statues (actually let’s just call a spade, a spade) - IDOLS! in Gurdwara Sahib is wrong? If nothing else, it gives any non-Sikh or early adopter visiting that venue or see's pics of it on the net, the impression that Sikhi allows idol's within their place of worship, so inadvertently gives Idols the thumbs up! This is even before the impression that a garland or money infront of an idol can give to the unsuspecting, by making them them that idol worship in one form or another is a Sikh practice. I love all religions of the world and I am a great advocate of every person’s right to follow and practice their faith of choice without any persecution. But what relevance does the virgin mary infused in to what seems to be the Miri, Piri swords of a Khalda, have in Sikhi? What need is there for this IDOL to be in a place where the Guru Sahib resides? The same Guru Sahib Ji, which tells the Gurmukh to refrain from any form of idol worship. Harbhajan Singh may have brought Sikhi to a large mass of white people in the west at a very fast rate, but at what cost? Should we start compromising Gurbani, Gurmaat or Gursikhi, so that it is more accessible or acceptable? Guru Granth Sahib Ji does not contradict itself. It is very clear on the message being delivered, but a manmukh (in a Gurmukhs bana), be he Punjabi, American, British or whatever will always twist the sweet words of Maharaj to fit in with his ultimate goal and agenda. "whereas the 3HO are ALL disciplined amritdharies" - Bhai Lucky Ji, that is a little naive statement to make. I can tell you straight, that not "ALL" of any group/jatha/whatever are disciplined amritdharies. There are always good and bad in all jathas. The quicker we realise that the better for ALL. I have the utmost respect for every human being that inhabits this earth. That said, I have double the utmost respect for a Gursikh, because I personally understand them! I am happy to give someone credit where credit is due regardless of their religion, race, creed etc. (Sorry I do not recognise caste as it is a form of racism!) I speak from my own experiences of 3HO'ers in the UK, because for many years I used to attend their classes, sadhanas etc. I even went to their NYE events at Camden market. I don’t want to do nindiya of any specific person, so I'll just generally say, that a large portion of the 3HO community here in the UK and abroad, see Sikhi is a side show / by product of the main event - "kundalini yoga". This is evident in the way the dastar is used as a prop for CD covers & events and the name XXXX Singh or Kaur is used, but once the spotlights and cameras are turned off they go back to being plain old Joe Blogs. This can also be said about some in the Punjabi/Indian original community. But why is it that we are happy to hold brown/punjabi to account when they are doing wrong, but if anyone says anything about a 3HO'er then they are tribal paranoid whatever!?!? Everyone regardless of race or origin should be held to account with the same reference – Gurbani. All that said, if I do not agree with something (such as the stuff mentioned above) I am happy to "live and let live", but I cannot understand how manmukhi is now being classed as Gursikhi. If someone comes out and states that “I am bi-spiritual”, then I would respect them for that, because I can understand their position better. But to claim to be Gursikh and then go and carry out practices and customs that are against the very thing you claim to be, is just one slap too many. One day, after typing kundalini yoga in to google, I was presented with website after website selling this yoga CD's, that teas, mala's, yoga books, blah blah blah, I came to the realisation that most people in the 3HO circle seem to be a master of this, that or the other rather than being a student of Guru Granth Sahib Maharaj. Quote of the day - “learn how to be the best student possible, before claiming to be a master”
  9. I am a 'pink with yellow stripes' bent in joothi vidiya and I have a phd is 'internet warriorism' so I can judge nadars nonsense and I confirm that 'the computer says NO'
  10. Dear oh dear! In another thread you chat about attending Nadars classes and being above his dirty influence but yet you seem not to listen to some CRUCIAL advice I give you while sitting on an open public forum! Do you want me to spell it out for you in layman's terms my brother? If You don't "stop, hammertime" then you you will be "banged up, doing time" Kapeesh??
  11. Lay down with dogs and then stand up with flees!
  12. Bro, CS Gas is classified as a firearm under Section 5 of the firearms act and you will most definitely get a sentance for that! http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1968/27 So, I suggest you! "Stop, Hammertime"
  13. I love horse riding! But for a gent it is a painful hobby, especially if you know how to gallop or canter ;-P
  14. Bahahaha! What a joke! "Largest democracy in the world?" who came up with the cow pile?
  15. All these worms have wriggled to the surface since the mass genocide of Gursikhs during the 80's & 90's. There will always be staunch followers who jump up and down like a wild apes to defend the wrong doings of their "gurdevs" I think the following just shows that the game plan is still the same, but the tactic's have now changed ever so slightly: "On one occasion, a program was held on 19th April 2002 at which a preacher of Ashutosh, Shardha Nand, grossly insulted Sikhi and Guru Granth Sahib (video can be found online). When Sikhs showed up to protest they were attacked and fired upon. Shardha Nana escaped in government vehicles and Sikhs were arrested for causing violence. Similar events have taken place in other cities but with the help of the government Noormahals always managed to escape and Sikhs became the target of violence and police brutality. All of this is being done to cause violence in Punjab so that the government could move in and kill Sikhs in large numbers in the name of “terrorism”. Such events are also used to identify Sikhs who are outspoken and show some bravery. They are arrested and put away in jails forever."
  16. Yep thats exactly what I thought when reading his mindless drivel!
  17. Penji if you are based in London I would suggest going to Gurdwara Sahib at Park Avenue, Southall where the 'Basics of Sikhi' kathas in English are held every Sunday - http://www.everythings13.org/Everythings_13/Sikhi_in_English.html
  18. The most constant literature of Gurmat has come from the Nirmal Panth, read Dr Trilochan Singh book " The turban and the sword of the Sikhs". Paaji I used to love that book like crazy. However I was recently asked by a friend who is switching their spiritual journey from Christianity over to the Guru Sahibs panth to recommend a good book for them to read about Sikhi etc. so I enthusiastically dug out the above mentioned book by Dr Trilochan Singh to give to her. For some strange reason before handing it over, I felt compelled to give it a quick scan and just flicked through the pages. I landed on page 133, so just gave the page a once over to see if I could rekindle some thoughts from being a teen reading this book!!! Anyway, if you have a copy of this book, give page 133 a look and then feel free to pm me with your thoughts.
  19. Paaji do you have a web link or contact info for bhai sahib?
  20. Mann Paaji please have some respect when referring to one of the most amazing Gursikhs of my lifetime. When you refer to Sant ji as "Bhindrawale" you make yourself sound like a rss troll, which I'm sure your not! Otherwise interesting points
  21. We do not celebrate Diwali in our household, but Happy Diwali to any Hindustanis on this forum. May your year ahead be filled with compassion, humility and love. Waheguru
