Piarey Bhai Sahib Singh ji was from nai (barber) caste, it was not their profession. It's absurd to even consider such an hingh avastha Gursikh of Guru Maharaj ji cutting hair for a living while practicing Sikhi. Please use bibek budhi. i never thought tht way!! srry!! :closedeyes:

haha.. guys.. our Guru sahibs were from india... and in those times.. if hindu families celebrate diwali.. do u think Guru sahib will say.. "sikhon dont wish them "diwali di wadhai ho".. thats not sikhi" .. haha celebrating diwali.. bringing good mood and happiness in atmosphere is always good!! dont forget bandi chor diwas.. but no harm in celebrating and bursting crackers with ure frends!! (i miss my childhood )

in a Katha by Sant Singh Maskeen ji, he mentioned about some raagis singing on filmi tunes. but, he said what to do, "hun koi srota hi nahi rehya" (now there is no listener/admirer of raag in the sangat that comes to gurughar).. so raag is fading away!! but again.. there are only 7 sur, some raagis get a similar tune to bollywood songs accidentally, but its our effort to listen the shabad instead of remembering the tune and relating to some filmi song!!

wht wud u say to baba Farid ji? was he not a muslim? our Gurus never said Islam is bad.. its just that in kaljug.. sikhi is the way!! God is infinite.... so thre are infinite ways to reach Him. some ways are long.. hard etc... sikhi is shortest in kaljug. ppl have reached God by following islam, by following,, jap .. tap.. yoga like patanjali... etc.. ?? were they all fake???
