  2. Vaheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Fateh! Hmm... Love, a Emotion within ourselves. bhaao kalam kar chith laekhaaree gur pushh likh beechaar || Make the love of the Lord your pen, and let your consciousness be the scribe. Then, seek the Guru's Instructions, and record these deliberations. The pen is your car, let mahraj drive you wherever you want, and let your consciousness be your road. If you follow mahrajs teachings you will go to your destination faster, however if you are following your mind then you might lose it to say the least. Let mahraj direct your pen on the scribe, forget your mind! If we follow what mahraj says about love then everyone will love each other because mahraj made all of us! This is why I feel personally bad if I have shouted at someone in the day, or had a krodh thought about someone, but this is natural to me as I am a PAPI!!! 5. Vaheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Fateh! It is very important that you sit through an Akhand Paath before taking amrith, the amount of laha you can get when sitting with other gursikhs is tottaly amazing. Back in Bhai Randhir Singh's Day, Singhs Used to Sit through a Akhand Paath, then they would sit through the Rainsbhai AND then they would give their head to Guru Ji! So the least we can do now is sit through a Akhand Paath. Vaheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!!

  8. Saas Giraas Simran Monday 05 Feburary 2007 This is what Daas read written by an anonymous person. “The modern day preachers normally misunderstand and misinterpret the meaning of the "Saas Giraas Naam Simran" which in the real divine senses is a very high spiritual stage and which is a Gur Parsaad” This is infact true but not true at the same time. According to a Gursikh who reached a very high stage of spirituality, Raghbir Singh Bir (even though most may not agree with him because of some things he has wrote in his book), writer of Bangdee Nama, he tells us that there are 3 stages in Simran and when one gets to the second stage one experiences mental Simran going automatically. So this isn’t something which is in a “very high spiritual stage” although you have to make some effort to get to this kind of state of mental Simran. It is most deffnitely GurParsaad because only through Shabad-Guru can we get to this stage as Guru Sahib has clearly said in Gurbani: sbdu gurU suriq Duin cylw ] The Shabad is the Guru, upon whom I lovingly focus my consciousness; I am the chaylaa, the disciple. Only through Naam Japna in the initial stages, making the effort, jumping barriers of life, realising what you lack in your jeevan, building your Piyaar will you get anywhere. It is not like one day you will wake up and you will get to the Antar Dhiyaan stage where one is doing Naam Abhiyaas every breath. The article daas read further suggests: “and happens with the GurKirpa – according to the following Hukam – Jinah Saas Giraas Naa Viserey Sey Purey Purakh Pardhan – please focus on this Hukam, in particular on Purey Purakh Pardhan – such souls who go in to Saas Giraas Simran become Puran Purakh Pardhan – and who is a Puran Purakh – only a Puran Braham Gyani is a Puran Purakh and such a soul becomes Pardhan – means unique – absorbed in Akal Purakh or the ones who become Puran Braham Giani are blessed with the Saas Giraas Simran, or only a Puran Sant A Puran Braham Giani is blessed with the Saas Giraas Simran” Daas can say that whoever has wrote the above has said this out of knowledge and not experience. You are blessed with Saas Giraas Simran from the Panj Piyare in the Amrit Sinchaar. This is Gurparsaad. This is the divine Kirpa Guru Sahib bestows on his Sikhs. This is when the candidate of Amrit receives Naam. This is called Naam DriR. Where the Guru, the True Guru, Guru Granth Sahib through the Panj Piyare instil Naam inside you. So it is not right to stay you are blessed with Saas Giraas Simran when you have reached a certain stage of Simran. You are blessed with this technique from the Panj Piyare as soon as you enter the sanctuary of Guru Sahib by taking Amrit. Gurbani has described this: ikrpw kry guru pweIAY hir nwmo dyie idRVwie ] By His Grace, the Guru is found, and the Name of the Lord is implanted within. From the above Gurbani quote we can clearly see that only through the True Guru, Guru Nanak – Dasmesh, Guru Granth Sahib, can we receive Naam, this is given at the time of the Amrit Sinchaar where the Panj Piyare implant Naam inside the seeker. This technique of Naam is what helps you Jap Naam, Antar Dhiyaan, Swaas Swaas. Infact any technique is excellent if it helps you to reach a stage where you can focus on Naam all the time. No matter if you Jap Naam with the tongue, mind, Hirdaa you will be blessed with Athi Pehar Naam Abhiyaas. But it is not valid to say this Saas Giras is given to you when you reach a higher stage of Simran. It would be more valid to call this Antar Dhiyaan or Athi Pehar Naam Abhiyaas. Writter further suggests: “Saas Giraas Simran is Akhand Simran – never stops, continuous, Ajapa Jaap, Rom Rom Naam Simran and at this stage the entire body gets filled with Puran Parkash and not only that the Amrit starts to flow out of each and every part of the body. This is a supremely eternally blessed stage in which a soul goes with the Gur Parsaad. For that matter Naam is a Gur Parsaad, Naam Simran is a Gur Parsaad, Naam Ki Kamai is a Gur Parsaad, Puran Bandgi is a Gur Parsaad and Seva is a Gur Parsaad. So please beware – Naam Simran – Saas Giraas Simran is a Gur Parsaad” When one reaches the Antar Dhiyaan stage where one can Jap Naam Ajapa Jaap then this is only the second stage of Simran. One still needs to progress further if one wants Puran Parkash inside them. Daas has met Gurmukhs who Jap Naam, Ajapa Jaap, some of these are very Gupt Gursikhs who don’t let anyone know of their spiritual state, and yet they are still awaiting Darshan of Waheguru. Ajapa Jaap is the second stage whilst Pooran Prakash is the Sehaj state one attains when one gets to the 3rd stage of Simran. This is according to Raghbir Singh Bir. But Daas always like to call the last stage of Sehaj Avsutha the 4th stage this is mainly because of 4 Lava Paath in Gurbani where Guru Sahib talks about the 4 stages one gets to, to meet Waheguru jee. The rest of what the writer has written is correct. Everything is Gurparsaad and we can only attain these stages of Simran through the grace of the Guru. But we have to ask our selves what is truly Gurparsaad? Gurparsaad is when one realises that it is not only by Nam Japna one will get anywhere spirtualy. One needs the qualities of a Gursikh, Garebee, needs to have sacrificed them selves to the true Guru, speak little, talk little, eat little. Then only one will realise Gurparsaad. If we think just bandgee on Naam is Gurparsaad then Daas can say we are truly mistaken. A lot of attributes are needed for Gurparsaad to work. nwnk siqguir ByitAY pUrI hovY jugiq ] O Nanak, meeting the True Guru, one comes to know the Perfect Way. The above Gurbani quote is talking about the perfect way. This is the perfect way to Jap Naam. What Daas means here is only through meeting the True Guru can one find the perfect way to Jap Naam and one will make no progress by going to any other then Guru Granth Sahib, the perfect Guru. This perfect way is all the attributes Daas has described above which is Guru’s divine grace. Writter further says: “This highly elevated spiritual stage of Saas Giraas Naam Simran Stage which is a Puran Braham Gyan Stage as described earlier is confused with commonly preached and used so called Naam Simran technique of doing Naam Simran with Swaas (breathing), which is reciting Naam with the breaths – exhailing and inhaling – this so called technique is an invention of a human brain and not the Gur Parsaad by any means in which Sangat is preached to concentrate on the breath – inhaling and exhaling – and mechanical repetition of the Shabad. This has no comparison with the Saas Giraas Naam Simran”. The above is written again with only knowledge and not experience, most of this knowledge being completely misguided knowledge taught to this seeker. Daas has previously said that Antar Dhiyaan stage is something that is given to the seeker much before they reach the stage of Brahm Giyaan. Even in the initial stages where one is feeling Ras in the Nabhi(navel), one will try to Jap Naam as much as they can. Although they can’t Jap Naam every breath they are not far off, and with more effort one can get to the stage of Simran 24/7, but it will be much more effort before one gets to the stage where they meet Waheguru and attain Brahm Giyaan. The writer is incorrect in saying that Antar Dhiyaan is different to the technique of Swaas Swaas Simran given by the Panj Piyare during Amrit Sinchaar. This is because without a properly implanted Jugtee (technique) one cannot get to the stage of Antar Dhiyaan. Single-minded Simran 24-7 is the state of Naam Japna of that Swaas Swaas technique received during Amrit Sinchaar. It is just where the seeker can Jap that jugtee (technique) all the time with every breath. Infact there are many Jugtees but whatever is blessed at the time of taking Amrit is what will take that seeker further if they have the right attributes with it. Whether they Jap Naam through the mind, tongue, heart they will get there. We cannot say any technique is an invention of the human mind. There are many techniques which Guru Sahib blesses His Gursikhs with. Whether one is blessed with Swaas Swaas simran from the start or not doesn’t matter, eventually they will reach the stage where they can Jap Naam with every breath, when they reach this stage does that mean it still remains an invention of the human brain? No it is what Guru Sahib blesses his Gursikhs with. “People focus on mechanical repitition (Dass have seen some people very closely who have been doing this all their life for 40+ years without making much progress on the spiritual path) of Shabad, which in itself is a disgraceful act (probably that is why these people don't make much spiritual progress)” Let us ponder how the above statement is incorrect. First the writer says that Naam Japna, Seva and other elements and attributes to ones jeevan is Gurparsaad. So therefore this means that only through the grace of the Guru can we Jap Naam. So therefore it is only through Guru Sahibs grace that we can progress in our spirituality, if Guru Sahib wants to Jap Naam and not make any progress in 40 years then who are we to complain? We should Jap Naam like this: kbIr kUkru rwm ko muqIAw myro nwau ] Kabeer, I am the Lord's dog; Moti is my name. gly hmwry jyvrI jh iKMcY qh jwau ]74] There is a chain around my neck; wherever I am pulled, I go. ||74|| Guru Sahib works in amazing ways and showers His blessings in different ways. Who knows how the ways of Guru Sahib are? How can we describe his ways? He does this Gurparsaad in many ways. We must understand that most of us have very KuThil (bad) fates. Even knowing about Naam shows Gurparsaad. Just imagine we have wasted so many life times without Naam, we have been trees, animals, birds, rocks, vegetation for countless life times. And now when we are blessed with a human life it will take a long time to clean this mind. Even Gurmukhs like Baba Nand Singh Jee, Bhai Randhir Singh, Baba Isher Singh have all had passed lives where they have cleaned their minds before they were blessed with a Pooran Gursikhi Jeevan. In this way it will take us many lifetimes to get anywhere spiritually. Most of us just want a quick fix, or patch over, over our spirituality. This is why we start to complain that “we havn’t made any progress in 40 years.” We must ask why didn’t he get anywhere in 40 years? Maybe he did Jap Naam, but did he practise Gurbani? Did he wake up Amritvela to Jap Naam? Did he practise Gareebee? Was he practising Naam and doing other Patit (dirty) Karams (actions). These are the things the writer won’t say and will say that he didn’t get anywhere because of the technique given to him Jap Naam. It is not only about technique but about other elements such as deep humility, effort, sacrifice etc that one will be able to progress. “(probably that is why these people don't make much spiritual progress)” Daas has been doing Sangat with Gursikhs who Jap Naam with the Swaas Swaas Jugtee. Daas can say there are some very spirtualy elevated Gursikhs who Jap Naam using this Jugtee. Daas could write a whole list of names but what will be the point? Who are we proving to? What would be the need? Daas can say even the small children (5- 10 year olds) Jap Naam using this Jugtee. Daas has seen this in UK and in India Smagams. Daas has seen small children who know major Paaths in Guru Granth Sahib kant (learnt off by heart). This is amazing Gurparsaad! The writer has used one example of the person who done Naam Japna for 40 years and got no where and used it against all the Sangat who Jap Naam using this Jugtee, this is totally wrong. This reminds me of Bhai Kartaar Singh of Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh’s era in the book ‘Amrit Kee Hai,’ who didn’t get far in his spirituality because of missing attributes. Finally the writer has written: “Naam Simran doesn't mean mechanical repetition of the Shabad, Naam Simran means giving Tunn Munn and Dhan to the Guru and Akal Purakh – a complete surrender to the Guru and Akal Purakh – Karta Purakh, Naam Simran is a Gur Parsaad of a very high order and comes only with the Gur Kirpa of the Guru. Those who give up everything to the Guru are the ones who are fortunate ones and who receive this Gur Parsaad. Naam Simran is not earned by using a manmade technique, it is eternal blessing. Saas Giras Simran is doing Bandgi in Karam Khand and Sach Khand and mechanical repitition with breaths is in Dharam Khand.” Naam Simran does mean repetition of the Gur-Shabad given by Guru Sahib. The below Gurbani quote tells us this: iek dU jIBO lK hoih lK hovih lK vIs ] If I had 100,000 tongues, and these were then multiplied twenty times more, with each tongue, lKu lKu gyVw AwKIAih eyku nwmu jgdIs ] I would repeat, hundreds of thousands of times, the Name of the One, the Lord of the Universe. This is the main Asool (code-of-conduct) in Sikhi. What the writer has written is complete against the views of Gurmat. But what the writer has written after this is correct although complete surrender can only come through repetition of Naam. This is when the seeker is known to be “dead.” What Daas means by dead is that one has completely surrendered to Dhan Guru Nanak – Dasmesh, Shabad Guru. This is when one gives his whole, his mind, his wealth to the Guru. This can only be done through repetition of Naam which goes against everything what the writer has said. To prove this we should look into Gurbani. Gurbani says: eyksu isau mnu rihAw smwey min mMinAY mnih imlwvixAw ]7] My mind remains immersed in the One Lord; my mind surrenders to Him, and in my mind I meet Him. ||7|| From the above Shabad we can see that only when ones mind is immersed in the One Waheguru then only has one surrendered to Guru Sahib. Also: sbid mrhu iPir jIvhu sd hI qw iPir mrxu n hoeI ] Dying in the Word of the Shabad, you shall live forever, and you shall never die again. From the above quote we can clearly see that Guru Sahib is saying that if you want to die (surrender) then do it be repeating Naam. This is the only way we can surrender our selves. This realisation takes many life times. But if stay true and loyal to Dhan Guru Granth Sahib then this realisation comes very quickly. Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh

Vaheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Fateh! Please Read Below For More Information taken from www.abiyaas.co.uk: - The Gift of Naam Monday 22 January 2007 Daas will be talking about the gifts one receives when taking Amrit. In particular daas will talk about Naam Dee Daat (gift of naam) one receives when one has took Guru Dasmesh’s Khundeh kee paul. The seeker before receiving Naam Daas was asked if there was any use in Naam Japna before one Shaks Amrit. And also will it have any affect if one hasn’t even received Naam yet. It is very important for the seeker of Naam to lead a good life doing good deeds before taking Amrit and receiving Naam. In Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh’s era Gursikhs weren’t allowed into an Amrit Sinchaar to take Amrit if they hadn’t sat through a whole Akhand Paath from ‘aad’ to ‘ant’ (start to finish). It is very important for the seeker to start Naam Japna. Even though one hasn’t received Naam one will still get some benefit from Naam Japna. But the truth is only after receiving Naam does one realise what this Naam Abhiyaas Da Marg (path of Naam Abhiyaas) is all about, although some poor souls don’t even realise after this. One needs to clean their mind before taking Amrit if one wants to receive full blessings whilst taking Amrit. One thing that put sense to daas was something that Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh said in Gurmat Bibek towards the end of the book. Below is the translation of what Bhai Sahib: Translation------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Everything in the Amrit Sinchaar is a teaching, a lesson in which the candidate of Amrit receives in the Hirdaa (heart). At that time one should receive full blessings of these teachings, if one doesn’t realise these instructions, or the teachings don’t reach the heart then they are Abhagay (ones with very bad fates). They are deficient in there karama to receive full blessings. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The above translation is very roughly been translated with a lot of inspiration missing. The above tells us clearly to be candidates of Amrit we must do some Naam Bhagti before or else we will not receive full blessings from Guru Sahib. Please click here to read what one should do for preparation of taking Amrit. When does one receive Naam? The only time we can receive the blessing of Naam is through Guru Sahib. This is done through the Panj Piyare at Amrit Sinchaars. The Panj Piyare become the form of the Guru as Sargun Saroop and bless the Abhilakhee (candidate) with Amrit and Naam. Over the last century or so there has been a lot of deficiency in Amrit Sinchaars and therefore most candidates don’t receive this Naam properly or don’t receive it at all. The main point is some Amrit Sinchaars the Panj Piyare tell the seekers to do Mool Mantar da Paath and that’s it, they don’t tell them that the rest of their lives they must be doing Naam Bhagtee. Some Panj Piyare just say “Waheguru is the Gurmantar.” Bhai Gurdaas Jee has told us this in his Vara(n) this isn’t something new. All know what the Guru’s mantar is but for that mantar to be driR inside you is something different. DriR means implanted and to stay their permanently. But it is a shame that most (not all) Amrit Sinchaars have stopped following these Seenaa – Baseena Rehits passed down from Gursikh to Gursikh. guir pUrY hir nwmu idRVwieAw hir Bgqw Aqutu BMfwru ]1] The Perfect Guru has implanted the Name of the Lord into the Lord's devotees; it is an Inexhaustible Treasure. ||1|| Even the Bhats where blessed with Naam from Guru Sahib: sqguir dXwil hir nwmu idRV@wXw iqsu pRswid vis pMc kry ] The Merciful True Guru has implanted the Lord's Name within me, and by His Grace, I have overpowered the five thieves. Daas even believes Bhagat Kabeer Jee was blessed with Naam DriR: kbIr swcw siqguru mY imilAw sbdu ju bwihAw eyku ] Kabeer, the True Guru has met me; He aimed the Arrow of the Shabad at me. lwgq hI Buie imil gieAw pirAw klyjy Cyku ]157] As soon as it struck me, I fell to the ground with a hole in my heart. ||157|| From the above Shabad we can see that Sacha, SatGur can only be Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Jee. Bhagat jee has revealed to us that he had met such a Guru and received Naam off Him. In this way if we want our Jeevan Safal (fruitful) we must receive Naam from Satguru as this is above all gifts, this is the treasure which is inexhaustible, there is no ant (end) to it. Receiving Naam When one goes to an Amrit Sinchaar ones intention should not be to receive, they should be to give. To receive a jewel such as a Naam has no keemat (price) but all Guru Sahib asks you give your Dhan, Man, Than (mind, body and soul) to him and in exchange one is blessed with Amrit and Naam dee daat. mnu qnu Dnu AwgY rwiKAw isru vyicAw gur AwgY jwie ] They place mind, body and wealth in offering before the Guru, and sell their heads to Him. Daas will not go into too much detail on how one is blessed with Naam DriR in the Amrit Sinchaar as this something that should remain in the Amrit Sinchaar and for the seeker to experience. Daas can only give an example of it. When receiving Naam it is like planting a seed inside the body. Our body is the field in which the seed will grow. After the seed has been planted you need to consider whose going to look after the seed? If its going to be watered? The below Shabad is beautiful in describing this. mnu hwlI ikrswxI krxI srmu pwxI qnu Kyqu ] Make your mind the farmer, good deeds the farm, modesty the water, and your body the field. Good deeds will be the farm inside our bodies and we musn’t even let ourselves do one bad deed as it will be accounted for. The mind (farmer) will look after the seed by putting Dhiyaan (focus) on Naam as much as it can, and Gareebee (modesty) will be the water which nourishes the seed in order for it to grow. In this way the seed will be looked after properly. What about scavengers? In a farm there are scavengers such as crows or even people who come to steal or distort the crops and seeds. In the body these scavengers are none other than the five thieves (kaam, krod, lobh, moh, hankaar). How will we get rid of these pests who steal and distort our crops? nwmu bIju sMqoKu suhwgw rKu grIbI vysu ] Let the Lord's Name be the seed, contentment the plow, and your humble dress the fence. Gareebee (humility) is needed as a fence against these thieves. This is mainly rehit only if done properly. If we keep rehit which has brought us more ego then there is a hole in the fence, if we keep rehit with nimerta remembering that we keep this rehit for Guru Sahib because it is pleasing to Him then we will have a good fence to keep away the scavengers who take the crops. If all goes well then this is what happens: Bwau krm kir jMmsI sy Gr BwgT dyKu ]1] Doing deeds of love, the seed shall sprout, and you shall see your home flourish. ||1|| You shall see your own home (body) flourish! If daas has offended anyone in this article then please forgive Daas. If you would like to discuss anything then please drop an email on daas@abhiyaas.co.uk. 10. Vaheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Fateh! Sorry If I have Offended Sangat, What Im Trying to state is that why do we need to tell other people that we are doing Sukhmani Sahib the paath? It should just be our own connection between guru Ji & Us. Of Course Bani gets rid of Ahankar, Mahraj States: - haumY mmqw sbdy KovY ] houmai mamathaa sabadhae khovai || The Word of the Shabad eradicates egotism and possessiveness. I dont think people need to state whether they do it or not in this thread as it may lead to ones Ahankar getting boosted. Some things are just best kept Gupt. Vaheguroo Jee Kha Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!
  13. Vaheguroo Jee Kha Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Fateh! Bhai Sahib, there is alot of positives of getting married, one of them is to have children so that Khalsa Fauj will get bigger. Having Children means you can teach them gurmat and maybe they will teach others about Sikhism. Another reason for marriage is basically helping each other with each others reht... stuff like that. if one cant wake up at Amrith vela then the other partner can wake them up and support them. Marriage is more of a boost of encouragement to do more bani and keep in reht as you have got each others support. However I think before getting married to another person, we should take amrith and get married to Mahraj. Hope that helps a bit Vaheguroo Jee Kha Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!

Vaheguroo Jee Kha Khalsa, Vaheguroo Jee Kee Fateh! 1stly take the time out to do Aardas stating that you are thankful to mahraj for letting you live one more day especially on your birthday to jaap naam. 18. To me personally it seems like when Pwalla States something, The topic then goes in 2 AkJ, This topic isnt about AKJ, TAKSAL or of any jatha bandi or even Nihangs. Fact is Niddar Is DISTORTING SIKHI AND IS A THREAT! SIMPLE AS! Please talk about Niddars Views and not about B.K.I, which has nothing to do with this at all.
  19. Pwalla Has taken the correct Initiative and done his research. From Reading Pwallas Posts I dont think he is part of a JathaBandi but part Of Khalsa, and as Khalsa as a right to tell people of threats to sikhi. Niddar is not a potential threat to sikhi, BUT A THREAT!!!! I think Pwalla has made some extremely good points, however Niddars Cheleh dont like the truth it seems.
