bhaaji, I know how its pronunced and agree with the way u say it but all I was trying to say was that I am not too happy about the new trend and the use of the word "Om" and such blending... maybe I am the only one who thinks that way about it

I have been seeing that for sometime now that in Sikhism related articles around from India, when they are mentioning "EK Onkar" it's usually spelled Ek Omkar ... and i am just not too sure about it... ... kinda seeing the rise in this way of spelling, i am just thinking that if this keeps going on, soon enough most of the people will spell it Ek OM KAR .... ^^^ Personally I never wanted to use halmet when I played, let it be cricket or baseball... n don't remember if I ever did... but looking back and seeing that I did have bleedy nose at times n some friend kinda lost front 2 teeth coz he felt the same about halmet ... So I wouldn't suggest playing without a halmet... specially when you are up against a pacer with a hard ball... mann that can do lot more damage than u can imagine... If your bro is concerned about wearing a halmet coz of patka or pagg, it for his own protection, that face guard won't help at all times... There are certain situations were its better to comply...den to be sorry... but it all ends up at the extent of ur complement

How do I put it - so far my experience on SS - If want to know a Sikhi related question, then you are doing manmat (questioning the faith), if you just expressing your opinion, then it manmat (going against majority ), if you are saying something thats a little off Sikhi like u mentioned Panjabi clips n stuff, then again its manmat... mann I've never been confused about manmat in my entire life... Not everyone is the same or thinks the same and thats the beauty of a being... Do u honestly think a Sikh can't have a balanced life and be a Panjabi as well... afterall, we "The Sikhs" have a history and a connection with Panjab. By reading your comments the thing that crosses my mind is as if you are trying to say that anything that isn't Sikhi oriented is evil and wrong... :umm:

Just a personal opinion, your statements were kinda rude... or atleast I thought so Its really amazing and I admire everyone of you for taking Amrit but you have to realize that you don't get to that state in an instant. Its not like the ones who haven't taken Amrit aren't tied to Guruji. Not everyone is chardi kala and some have to work much more than others to be able to fully commit yourself. I just asked that question because I was troubled by it, Guru Gobind Singh ji gave Amrit to panj payare and then recieved Amrit himself when a whole range of people were present. And I choose to disagree with anyone who says that Guru Sahib gave Amrit secretly to the people. Each and every single soul who recieved Amrit that day was a blessed one but they did that when others were present. Know what.. I thought I'd ask a question in here and hopefully I will be able to understand and remove some of my doubts on Sikhi... but guess I failed to realize that ya'll will divert the main topic and are more interested in dissing this and that, rather than helping a fellow mate... I don't think I'd be able to express my views to the Granthi Singh ji, thats why I wanted your opinions... I need sangat's assistance to understand why is it the way it is... In Sikhi, everything has a rationale to it but this is one of those things, I never could get my head across...

Bhaaji, probably you didn't understand my question. I was asking for the one who isn't taking Amrit, why he/she can’t just witness the Amrit sanchar being done...
