  1. Sahaj yoga is here for centuries. She didn't create it. She just spread the word around. I have seen her followers and I was impressed by their lifestyle and they left a very positive impression on me.
  2. I agree with papi veer ji. Love is the "rarest thing"...IF u REALLY feel the love...then u wont listen to anybdy. Love doesn't seek advise.
  3. Its a very valid question. You are lucky that u want to know kaam....cuz u can only tackle it if u know it. I have seen people fighting with Kaam and they never try to understand it.....so they are messed up from the begining. Ask yourself when u get entangled into kaam.....that what is kaam and whats its root?....dont satisfy urself with "man made" answers......kaam is an experience ...so u can only feel its root. dont satisfy urself with an answer because it will kill ur quest. Remember its not a linear equation.
  4. u r confusing two different things here. Pic is talking about AMRIT which is ONE.....its same for everybdy. Its inside you and the "ceremony" we sikhs do is just an attempt to awaken it. This amrit is inside everybdy which guru ji talk about in bani. Guru ji explicitly says: naanak a(n)mrith eaek hai dhoojaa a(n)mrith naahi || O Nanak, there is only One Ambrosial Nectar; there is no other nectar at all. naanak a(n)mrith manai maahi paaeeai gur parasaadh || O Nanak, the Ambrosial Nectar is obtained within the mind, by Guru's Grace. Amrit is inside u. I hope I answered ur question. Guru awakens that amrit inside u....so Guru is most important.
  5. I know its tough and I can feel ur situation. God is there to help u. Dont worry, he will be safe whereever he goes...keep faith.
  6. I do not agree with ur statement. In the Pic amrit is shown to flow from the charans of the Guru ...like charanamrit. There are no two amrits for sikh and hindu. "Nanak amrit ek hai duja amrit naheen." Amrit is name of God and that is for all.....God doesn't see the difference between hindu and muslim. "Na ko hindu Na ko musalman" So if u think amrit is different for different faiths then u r mistaken
  7. ^^ thats so true, I have seen this happening many times. Brother -sister thing should come from inside. You cannot expect somebdy to follow rules when they are not ready from inside.
  8. ^^^ i have seen a lot of hi5 profiles of "singh"s too. i think we should contact hi5 too.
  9. Lohri has no relation to sikhi..... its just people of a particular part of the world celebrate. Its a local thing....not associated with sikhi at all (i think). Like some festivals in west has no relation to chistianity but still people celebrate....cuz they are part of their culture.
  10. People who wanna see only problems can see them in anything or any festival in this world. The solution is not to boycot but to bring up the nice things and make people aware of the bad practices associated with it. Lohri was not started just for the celebration of the birth of a male kid.....it became a part of it later on. Also, nowadays people celebrate lohri for both male and female kids.
  11. when you are at a high spiritual level in you sikh way of life, and you are a dedicated to the gurus way of life and are a khalsa, then these things are really important , and then you would cook your own food or from the hands of gursikhs, you wouldnt touch tinned food or anything like that. there is a very deep understand behind this, but food produced in a factory where there is other stuff, is upto the person, in this day and age, hardly nothing is 'sucha' that comes onto shop shelves. its all about dicipline, and our priority first is to reach that level. well said pappi ji ....... what abt milk? should we keep a majj for that too or its okay to have milk from store.
  12. Things will look the way u wanna see them.
  13. People need something to feel superior. This will be always a trait of people belonging to lower consiousness (me included)
  14. Begampura means BE-Gam-Pura......a place with NO Gam......thats a place without suffering. Making map to sachkhand is totally impossible. Guru Nanak said that its impossible to explain sachkhand...so map doesn;t work there brother. Do u have any reference for the above story??? janam sakhi by bhai bala ji ... best and oldest granth about gurunanak devjis life .... i would get u the page number soon ... Thanks brother, please scan the page if u can as I dont have the 'granth' of bhai bala ji.
  15. Thanks God its not from Bhai Randhir Singh ji......cuz the article didn't make any sense.

  17. People with devotion and "money" can fund this.....as they did for the harimandir sahib.
  18. They are doing whatever their prophets/saints/godly men suggested them to do......its their duty....their devotion. Sikhs also do whatever their Guru tells them to do. Remember the story when Guru Nanak told Guru Angad to eat a dead body. Guru Angad dev ji just asked...From where he should start....feet or head? Dont make fun of them if u know nuthin....Guru Nanak knew everything and he has right to tell them the right path.
  19. Can anybdy record this documentry please ...?
  20. ^^^ I think the original poster is talking about dead nails......not alive nails.
