Sri Guru Nanak Dev Jee the founder of the Sikh religion came to this world 536 years ago. His teachings and vision awoke the people of this world. The dawn of a spiritual revolution began to rise. The rejection of false practices shocked many religious people and His enlightenment was very refreshing to those who adopted new ways of reaching spiritual bliss. The First Guru’s teachings are an important part of Sikhism today and His mission continues.

Set In Stone or Is It Caste Iron?

Since the Sikh faith was established and the shackles of caste destroyed through the teachings of the 10 Great Masters of Sikhism. Why does caste still play a part in our lives and remain an important topic of debate? The caste and class systems plague many societies and continue to dictate our feelings and actions. Is it just another divide and conquer tactic to segregate communities? Or is it an important part of our lives that helps us make better judgements? Come along and see how this debate develops to help guide the youth of today the Guru’s way.
