Simply open up the dos prompt ftp in my server log in with username and password and simply use get and dirs commands to download the stuff

Here is little about my ftp server:

Using:

Serv-U Trial Version (If someone can get me the crack it will be great)

Just regular Broadband, up to 10 connections at once, upload at 20kb/s ( I know thats very low) but hey something is better than nothing!!

If you are transferring at the rate of 1kb/s- 3kb/s that means server is really busy with the load of other users downloading stuff.... since the whole share is 4GB...please dont be greedy just spent downloading small sizes files first to the big ones.. so that other sangat can get the chance....

I m seriously need of server (T1) which is impossible to afford:

However here is my plane

Total of 5 users with broadband with the same share and put it on the kazaa.. That 5 broadband can reduce load of server load comparing with 1..so sangat can dowload the share faster.. we are planning to do this by end of this month... puttin the share in kazaa so with 5 broadbands fast internet replica of the orginal shares (By puttin keywords like sikhs, gurbani, kirtan etc) so sangat can see the share on line!!!

OR better plan but this would need a networking programmin skills if someone can implement network architecture ie- Like Kazaa.. make our own sikhi hub-- where we can start with 10 shares and by the end of the month we can have probably 100 users sharing each other like kazaa is doing!!!!!!!!

the download speed is going at 22 k/sec! That's not bad for a broadband hooked ftp server.

Perhaps the Waheguroo! Network sevadars can lay a plan for the kazaa type project to done?

Nice, i am already making a program that can send files from IP to IP on a LAN. Having some problems with the file sending but everything else is completed like Connection and stuff. I am gonna try to see if i can change it so it works on the internet. Plus having a fixed server IP is good cos the clients can simply connect like they do to kazaa servers.
