This year 2006 marks the 20th anniversary of when the Sarbat Khalsa gathered at Sri Akal Takhat Sahib and declared independence from the tyrant 'indian' regime.

The Sarbat Khalsa gathered before Sri Akal Takhat Sahib on Jan. 26, 1986 and resolved to establsih a soverign state, Khalistan and elected a five member Panthak Committee to co-ordinate the movement for national independence.

The Panthak Committe issued the Declaration of Khalistan on April 29, 1986 from Sri Akal Takhat Sahib.

On April 30, 1986, the disgrace surjit barnala ordered an attack, "Black Thunder" on Sri Darbar Sahib.

On October 7, 1987 the Sikh Nation declared independence from "India."

Khalistan Zindabad !!!!

On this day in Sikh History Jan. 26, 1986

1986. : Work was initiated to dismantle Akal Takht Sahib constructed under government's forcible "Kar Sewa" after 'Operation Bluestar'- Ghalughara in 1984.

1986 : A Sarbat Khalsa, gathered together at Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Amritsar resolved to establish a sovereign State, Khalistan and elected a Panthic Committee to co-ordinate the movement for national independence.
