Why Be A Babbar And The Rest Which I Do Not Know Of?

Babbar Khalsa is an organization of Gursikhs dedicated to the Sikh Cause i.e. freedom/Khalistan

Babbar Khalsa did come out of AKJ, as AKJ financially suppoer the Singhs i believe, and the Singhs that started Babbar Khalsa were from the Jatha. But Babbar Khalsa is not a Jatha organization, it is a Panthic organization, supported by the Jatha and the Panth.

The bit about the Babbars and Sant Jee not liking each other or whatever i definately dont believe because both sides is Jeevan Vaalae Gursikhs dedicated to the Panth. like the Gurmukh b4 sed, Sant Jee used to call Sukhdev Singh Jee Babbar, "Sachaa Sukhaa'

Babbar Khalsa in the beginning was an extremely strict, ChaRdee Kalaa organization with Jeevan Vaalae Gurmukhs. im not sayin that this isnt the case nemore, im just sayin in the early days, they were far more selective about who could join the jathabandhee. The reason it was so hard for GOI to infiltrate Babbar Khalsa in the beginning was because you had to have the jeevan of a gursikh to join. it was a MUST to have 7 nitnem baaNees and sukhmanee sahib MEMORIZED to join.

About takin amrit from specific jathebandhees. i dont think the jatha should matter at all. but Gurmat Rehith Maryada should be followed and preached.

there is a lot of bad things written about them, not in newspapers (to be expected), but in books about the Sikh Freedom movement. I have read that their founder, Sukhdev Singh Babbar , QUOTE: "tried to kill Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Bhindranwale, and as a result were responsible for his forced ejection from Guru Nanak Niwas (part of Sri Harmandir Sahib complex) on the night of 15th December 1983."

"Accused of deserting Bhindranwale, in fact they were never with him. At one point, they were ASKING for arms against him"

Can somebody please tell me whether this is TRUE? How could an organisation committed to freedom for the Sikhs try to KILL BHINDRANWALE?

yea ppl write a bunch of bull crap about chardi kala singhz. what i dont get is how the western govz could be so blind and call bki a terrorist org. ? wid all the crap the indian gov did in 84' and still is doin wut do they expect us to do if we dont have a 'NATO' standard army or country????????? do they want us jus to sit on our a$$z and take it????????????????? screw that i rather pik up a ak. v2.gifv1.gif :bringitondude

NO WAY! Is that true? We are both talking about Wassan Singh Zaffarwal, currently in Pakistan, arent we? I never knew he collaborated with the Indian government! Where did you find that out from?!!! Can you prove it?

Zaffarwal is not in Pakistan. He escaped from Punjab and travelled to Europe (Switzerland if im not mistaken) before surrendering to the Indian government and returning to India in 2001. Most of the charges against Zaffarwal were subsequently dropped and he is now living freely with his family in Punjab. By all indication he is no longer a Khalistani.

The Khalistan Commando Force split into factions, each being aligned to different Panthic Committees. Parmjit Singh Panjwar is the leader of KCF (Panjwar). He is said to be currently in Pakistan.

Zaffarwal is now working as a "quack"(desi vaid) in his village .

After surrendering to GOI he has also tried his hand at running for elections as an SGPC member but lost .

He may be now planning to run for MLA seat during the Punjab assembly elections which are about 6 months away .

Zaffarwal was nice to everyone during that time and many jujahroo's saw him as a gursikh but he played a game with the sikh panth and went to the indian side.

Singhs have been shaheed from zaffarwal KCF,they trusted zaffarwal, they just didn't know what he was playing.

Does anyone know WHY Zaffarwal surrenderred or why he changed?

All the above answers suggest that he was a true khalistani and then he changed. But can anyone give evidence that in fact he was an agent of GOI all along? Because that changes things a lot!

Thanks
