when i do simran...i have the pyar for waheguruji..but i feel as if something is missing...like its my mouth repeating waheguru but dont get the rass of doing simran...not amritdhari...maybe thats why?

and what is singh sabha...there are alot of gurdwaras?

You need to take Amrit and receive Naam and be taught how to practise it so that you can start Japping Naam.

How can your Jap Naam if you haven't received it from the Guru?

yes, but u can jap naam whenever, yes you should take amrit and receive naam from the guru, but even if you haven't yet you can still jap naam its not empty, it still counts!

Yes it will have some benefit to repeat Vaheguru but how exactly can one "Jap Naam" if they have not received Naam? I think this comes down to a lack of faith in the Panj Pyare and an underestimation of the power of Naam.

bhai, did prehlaadh get amrit from punj, did any of the bhagats whose bani is in guru granth sahib get amrti from punj. no they didn't.

i totally agree with you that getting amrit will help immensly and make the journey easier. but pelase dont say that without amrit it wont have much of an effect.

They can attempt to copy the outer movements or the sound, but most certainly it is not the same as the actually practise of Naam as is done after Amrit.

peyareo, i didnt say they didnt recieve naam, ofcourse they did. but i said they didnt receive it from punj payarey.

they way you are putting it, it seems like without amrit there is no point of japping naam. i didnt mean to say that one should not take amrit as it is imperitive that every sikh takes amrit. i was jus saying the other side of the story, whereby encouraging the person to jaap naam even though they might not have taken amrit yet.

i'm sorry if it came off as me saying that we dont need amrit :D
